The God of Wealth Returns is a short Wandering Tale in the Qinghe region of Where Winds Meet, centered on a villager named Yan Hui who has misplaced a stone statue of the God of Fortune. The tale is easy to start, but the statue itself is hidden in tall grass near the shoreline, which is where most players get stuck.
Where to start: Harvestfall Village, Qinghe
Harvestfall Village sits on the far western edge of Qinghe. Fast travel to the Harvestfall Village stone, then move slightly northwest on foot. The target house is behind the medicine crafting brazier, a small wooden building with a man seated inside and a woman pacing anxiously.
The woman is Yan Hui. Speak with her, and she will explain that a stone statue she treasures as a family heirloom has gone missing somewhere in the village. Agreeing to help begins the Wandering Tale.
Where to find the God of Fortune Statue
The statue is not far from Yan Hui's house, but it is partly hidden by foliage, which is why many players run the beach repeatedly without spotting it.
Step 1: Leave Yan Hui's house and head north toward the village docks. Keep to the shoreline path so you do not overshoot the pickup point.
Step 2: As you approach the jetty, watch the left side of the path for a boat that has been flipped upside down on the sand. It is the key landmark for the statue's location.
Step 3: Move a short distance past the flipped boat and check the corner where the grass meets the rocks. The God of Fortune Statue is lying on the ground there, partially covered by grass. Interact to pick it up.
Return the statue to Yan Hui
With the God of Fortune Statue in your inventory, go back to the wooden house near the fast travel stone and speak to Yan Hui again. Choose the dialogue option to hand over the statue. The game will auto-select the correct item, so simply confirm the exchange. Yan Hui's reaction closes the story beat and marks the Wandering Tale as complete.

Once the tale is flagged complete, open the Journal and go to the Wandering Tale section to claim the rewards.

How to confirm it worked
Two signals confirm completion. First, Yan Hui's dialogue resolves and the quest marker above her disappears. Second, the Wandering Tale entry for The God of Wealth Returns moves to the completed state in the Journal, where the Echo Jade, Qinghe Exploration, EXP, and Coin rewards become claimable. If the entry does not update, recheck that you picked up the God of Fortune Statue specifically, not a nearby interactable, and speak to Yan Hui a second time.
