The Hunt: Roblox 20 — How to Get the Exclusive Dominus

Only the first 20 players to solve the secret path's final puzzle walk away with the ultra-rare Dominus.

Only the first 20 players to solve the secret path’s final puzzle walk away with the ultra-rare Dominus.

The Dominus handed out during The Hunt: Roblox 20 is the most restricted reward in the whole anniversary event. It is not tied to finishing the twenty years of main quests, and it is not given to everyone who eventually reaches the end of the secret route. It sits behind a gated chain of requirements that ends in a straight race against every other player on the platform.

Quick answer: Finish all 20 main quests, unlock Year Infinity, clear the 20 secret quests to collect all 20 fragments, then be one of the first 20 players to solve the final puzzle in the event hub.

Only 20 Dominus copies exist, and the race is global

Roblox has limited the reward to the first 20 players who complete the final puzzle at the end of the secret path. There is no per-server quota and no second batch mentioned. Once twenty people finish, the Dominus allocation is done.

The item itself has an iridescent pastel rainbow texture, X-shaped eyes and infinity symbols attached to the buttons along the hood. Roblox has not published a full catalog name for it, so any specific item name circulating right now is unconfirmed until the reward goes live.

Requirements before the secret path opens

Two gates stand in front of the secret quests, and neither can be skipped:

  • All 20 main Hunt quests completed, one per year from 2006 to 2025.
  • Year Infinity unlocked in the event hub.

Each main quest lives inside a different featured experience, reached through portals in the hub or from the event page on Roblox. Start from The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub if you have not begun yet.

How the 20 secret quests and fragments work

On Saturday, September 19, the hidden route became available. Rather than receiving a ready-made list, you find a clue in the event hub that identifies one of the featured experiences. Figure out which game it refers to, and the quest starts in the hub while a portal to that game opens.

Completing any secret quest grants an exclusive virtual item and one fragment. There are 20 fragments in total, and the final puzzle requires every one. Secret quest badges have been released in groups of five instead of all together, so the complete set is unavailable during the opening wave.

Secret quests register as their own badges on each game’s Roblox page, separate from the main quest badge. Checking a game’s badge list is the fastest way to confirm whether a secret quest is live there.

The route to the Dominus, in order

Clear all twenty main quests and claim each year’s item so the hub registers you as complete for every era. Nothing on the secret track becomes visible until this is done.
Unlock Year Infinity in the event hub. This is the zone the secret quests and the final puzzle are attached to.
Read the current clue in the hub and identify the game it points to. Take the portal that appears and complete the secret quest inside that experience.
Repeat for every secret quest as each wave releases, collecting the item and the fragment each time. Do not leave a quest unfinished from an earlier wave.
With all 20 fragments held, return to the event hub. The final puzzle becomes reachable only at that point.
Solve the final puzzle. Placing inside the first twenty finishers is what awards the Dominus.

There is no announced hour for when the final puzzle opens, so the practical approach is to be standing in the hub as soon as the last wave of secrets lands rather than guessing at a reset time.

How to check your progress counted

Each completed quest awards a badge on the relevant game’s Roblox page, which is the most reliable confirmation that it registered. Main quest badges are labelled as The Hunt: Roblox 20 Main Quest, while secret ones appear under their own Secret Quest name. Items you have earned can be claimed from the pedestals near spawn in the corresponding hub zone.

Arriving at the last wave with nineteen fragments and no idea which one failed is the costliest mistake available here. Verify your fragment count after every wave rather than at the end.

In-hub challenge leaderboards display ranks, usernames and completion times for each year’s challenge, which gives a rough sense of how quickly other players are moving through the event.

What you still get if you miss the first 20

Think of the Dominus as a compact competitive layer placed over a much larger reward track. Finishing position does not affect the exclusive item awarded by any of the twenty secret quests. Across the waves, those rewards include the Gear Hoarder Loadout Belt, Sparkwave Headset, Personal Safety Spikes, Original Web Elements and Hands-On Experience. The twenty main quest items are in addition to them.

Roblox has not confirmed that the final puzzle closes after twenty winners, so the likely outcome is for the Dominus allocation to stop while the rest of the secret route remains completable for the event’s remainder.

The Hunt: Roblox 20 runs through September 28, and several of the main quests take considerably longer than a few minutes. If you are seriously chasing the Dominus, the deciding factor is being fully caught up on fragments before the last wave arrives, not how quickly you can solve the puzzle itself.
