The 2010 slot is the fifth stage of the 20-year anniversary run, and it pays out on two fronts. The Work at a Pizza Place quest hands over cosmetics and vehicle rewards inside that experience, while the hub side grants the wearable accessory and the badge that counts toward your event total.

This is one of 20 badges in the event, and the hub tracks your running total across every year stage. The badge has been handed out more than 354,000 times with a win rate sitting around 6.3 percent, so plenty of players start the quest and never reach the end of it. The event itself runs from September 17 through September 28, 2026.

Before you start: where the 2010 quest lives

Two separate places are involved, and mixing them up is the main reason people get stuck. The story quest happens inside Work at a Pizza Place, reached through the Event Boat teleport or through the portal on the hub’s 2010 island. The badge itself is only handed to you back in The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub after you finish Dued1’s short ingredient quest.

The order does not matter. You can clear the hub ingredients first and then run the pizza place quest, or the other way around. Nothing locks until both halves are done.

Work at a Pizza Place event quest walkthrough

The whole run takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes depending on how fast you drive. It is a scripted sequence with a visible objective counter in the corner, so if the counter is not moving, you are in the wrong room.

The 2026 shift

Join Work at a Pizza Place and head to the Event Boat teleport. That drops you into the event lobby rather than the normal job server.

Sit on the queue benches in the middle of the lobby and wait out the countdown above the gate. You can queue solo; the timer still runs down and pulls you into the match.

Once you load into the restaurant, walk to the front register and take the customer’s order. The objective reads “Take customer order 0/1” and clears after the dialogue finishes.

Go into the kitchen and build a sausage pizza. Add sauce, then cheese, then sausage to the dough, and slide it into the oven.

The oven catches fire on cue. Grab the fire extinguisher off the kitchen wall and spray the flames until “PUT OUT THE FIRE” clears.

The fire is scripted, not a mistake. You cannot cook the pizza cleanly, so do not restart the order when it burns.

Finding the time machine

Walk down the back hallway into the manager’s office. The secret recipe is gone, which triggers the next objective.

Head out the back of the building and speak to the Detective in the trench coat. He offers to help recover the recipe and leads you to a motorboat.

Ride across the water to the island and talk to Jordan at the campfire. He opens a hidden ladder passage inside the shack behind him.

Drop down the trapdoor and follow the Detective into the underground machine room. Set the destination dial to 2010 and start the jump.

The 2010 shift

Step out of the machine through the cardboard box exit and follow the arrows on the ground to the retro Builder Brothers Pizza. Talk to Brick Builder at the counter and put on the red employee shirt.

Cook three pizzas at the counter, following the order board. The run calls for a cheese, a pepperoni, and a sausage pizza, each baked in the oven before the counter advances.

Follow Brick Builder down the hallway to the boxing station and pack all three pizzas at the conveyor table while he argues with Tony Builder.

Carry the boxes to the red delivery car outside and drive to the three marked houses in the neighborhood. Drop each order at the doorstep, then drive back and walk into the restaurant.

Stealing the recipe and getting home

With the Detective guiding you, slip into the manager’s office and take the secret recipe bottle off the desk.

Run back out the rear exit, follow the arrows, and climb into the cardboard box entrance to reach the time machine.

Use the numeric keypad inside and punch in the return code the Detective reads out. The code is written as an eight-digit date in MMDDYYYY form and matches the current event date, so it changes day to day. Players have entered 09172026 and 09182026 on their respective days; take the digits from the on-screen dialogue rather than from memory.

The machine fires, the world turns red and glitchy with oversized figures flashing past, and you land back in the 2026 restaurant. A “YOU STOLE THE SECRET RECIPE!” screen opens with the R20 Poster, R20 Visor, and 2010 Car listed, plus the badge notification. Press the return option to head back to the hub.

Hub quest: Dued1’s pizza ingredients

The hub half is a short platforming errand on the floating 2010 island. Three ingredients sit on separate platforms, and all three go onto one podium.

Load into The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub and move to the 2010 area. Talk to Dued1 outside the pizza building and accept the quest to find dough, sauce, and cheese.

Run up the yellow stairs and across the platform path to grab the dough sitting on a wooden crate.

Cross to the floating platform next to the tree and pick up the sauce.

Work your way through the skate ramp section and collect the cheese.

Bring all three back and place them on the podium, then cook the pizza over the campfire and speak to Dued1 to close out the quest.

Walk to the black year cube, interact with the NPC there, and claim the badge.

How to confirm the badge and UGC unlocked

Three signals tell you the stage is finished. The reward popup inside Work at a Pizza Place lists the three in-game items, a Roblox badge notification slides in on screen, and the Builder Brothers’ Balancing Act accessory appears as an on-screen award once the hub side is complete.

The clearest confirmation is the hub itself. After you touch the glowing portal cube on the 2010 island, the on-screen text switches to “Welcome to 2011” and the next stage opens up. If you are still reading the 2010 prompt, one of the two halves is unfinished.

From there the pattern repeats for every remaining year, each with its own experience, its own quest, and its own accessory waiting at the end.
