Throw A Football is a Roblox quarterback game from Albie’s Arcade. Progress depends on a short loop. You win drives to earn cash, spend that cash on three upgrade stats, and fill your roster with better cards from packs. Most early stalls happen when one part of that loop gets ignored, such as spending on the wrong stat or leaving a new 78-rated receiver on the bench.
Quick answer: Buy Money Boost first, then Throw Strength, then Accuracy. Press Equip Best after every pack. Claim Daily, Playbook, Fan Level and Free Gift rewards every session.
Best upgrades in Throw A Football, in order
The Upgrades menu has three stats: Accuracy, Throw Strength and Money Boost. Each rank costs cash. Each one changes a specific number, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
| Upgrade | What it changes | Early rank | Later rank |
|---|---|---|---|
| Money Boost | Cash multiplier | Rank 0: x1 → x1.1 | Rank 5: x1.5 → x1.6 |
| Throw Strength | Range and ball speed | Rank 2: 37 → 39 yards | Rank 5: 44 → 47 yards |
| Accuracy | Meter speed and slider | Rank 0: speed 3 → 2.7s | Rank 4: speed 2.15 → 1.95s |
Money Boost goes first because it multiplies the cash from every completion and every win. Each extra rank makes all later purchases come faster. Five ranks moves your payout from x1 to x1.5, which is a 50 percent raise on everything you earn.
Throw Strength comes next. It raises your maximum throw distance in yards and the speed of the ball. Ball speed also rises from 65.65 to 67.28 at rank 2 and from 72.93 to 74.72 at rank 5. Range matters more as stages add deeper routes. A receiver beyond your range simply can’t be reached.
Accuracy rounds things out. It slows the throw power meter and widens the timing window for a clean release. The slider value grows from 1.5s to 1.57s at rank 0 and from 1.76s to 1.83s at rank 4. This upgrade helps most once defenses tighten and missed timing turns into incompletions.

Add to Google Preferences →How to get a good team: Packs, cards and Equip Best
Your roster is a set of player cards, split into Offense and Defense. The game has 260 cards across Rookie, Veteran and Legend editions, with rarities from Common to Mythic. Card packs come from wins, Daily Rewards and the Playbook chest. Receiver packs add pass catchers. Lineman packs add blockers who give you more time in the pocket.
After opening a pack, press the green Equip Best button. It slots your highest-OVR cards into every active offensive and defensive position automatically. New cards don’t do anything until they are equipped, so run it again after each pack.

The cards that show up early tell you what a stat bump looks like in practice. The free starters are mostly in the 60s. Pack pulls jump straight into the high 70s.
| Card | Position | OVR | Key stat |
|---|---|---|---|
| George Pickens (Rookie) | WR | 78 | 86% catch |
| Petr Skoronsky | LG | 78 | +0.9s pocket |
| Stefon Diggs (Veteran) | WR | 70 | 81% catch |
| K. Forde | RG | 69 | Starter |
| Z. Mos | RB | 69 | Starter |
| A. Thielen | WR | 66 | Starter |
Receivers carry a catch percentage, and a higher number means fewer drops. Linemen add time in the pocket before the rush gets home. A 70 OVR receiver can still drop a catchable ball, so catch rate isn’t a guarantee. It does tilt the odds as stages get harder.
Free cash and packs to claim every session
Several menus hand out cash and cards for free. Skipping them slows both upgrades and roster growth.
Daily Rewards calendar
Open the Daily button on the HUD and claim the current day. The calendar runs for seven days and ends with a Rare Receiver Pack.

| Day | Reward |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | $256 |
| Day 2 | $615 |
| Day 3 | x2 Money 15 min |
| Day 4 | $1.53K |
| Day 5 | Common Receiver Pack |
| Day 6 | x2 Money 30 min |
| Day 7 | Rare Receiver Pack |
The Day 3 and Day 6 rewards are timed double-money boosts. Claim them right before you queue a game so the clock isn’t running while you sit in menus.
Playbook tasks and the daily chest
The Playbook lists daily objectives such as scoring touchdowns, completing passes and opening packs. Each finished task pays cash plus fans. Payouts seen early include $180 +25 fans, $564 +20 fans and $717 +30 fans. Clearing the checklist unlocks a daily bonus chest, which can contain a Lineman pack.

Fan Levels and the Free Gift
The fans you earn from Playbook tasks and practice raise your Fan Level. Each level grants a permanent money bonus. Fan Level 4 adds +6% money forever, and Fan Level 5 adds +8%. These bonuses stack with Money Boost, which is one more reason to finish the Playbook every day.
The Free Gift button pays a one-time +$2.56K once you like the game, rejoin, and join the developer’s community group. That is enough for several early upgrade ranks.
How passing works in Throw A Football
Upgrades and cards only pay off if completions land. Every play has the same structure, and the timing meter decides most outcomes.

You know the throw landed when the receiver secures the ball and the yardage or first down appears. Touchdowns and wins pay out cash after the drive. Winning a Stage 2 game, for example, pays +$532.
You don’t always have to pass. If coverage is tight near the goal line, carry the ball yourself across the line of scrimmage. A quarterback scramble into the endzone counts as a touchdown.
Practice rings and stage difficulty
Between games, the central stadium hub has glowing golden rings floating above the field. Throwing through them back to back builds a Ring Streak multiplier that pays fans and cash. It’s also a low-stakes way to learn the power meter’s timing. If the soundtrack gets distracting during long practice runs, you can turn Music off in Settings.

That practice pays off because opponents improve each stage. The rookie season runs through a fixed series of teams:
- Harbor Sharks, your opening rookie match
- Desert Scorpions, Stage 2
- Iron Wolves, Stage 3
- Lava Dragons, Stage 4, with noticeably tighter coverage
By Lava Dragons, slants get knocked away and deep balls fall incomplete. A failed 4th down hands the ball over on downs. If you stall there, go back to the hub. Put cash into Throw Strength and Accuracy, open any waiting packs, press Equip Best, and then run the game back. The game also offers a Rebirth option for large cash boosts once you’ve progressed further, and a Locker where you can unlock new balls and trails.
