Tricorner Island holds nine Riddler Trophies, and a handful of them sit behind gliding, cable-tethering, and foam-spraying gates that only specific characters can clear. Wrapping up the main story first makes the cleanup much faster, since the full roster opens up the puzzles that need Nightwing, Catwoman, Robin, and Jim Gordon.
🦇
Quick answer: There are nine Riddler Trophies in Tricorner. The first is gifted during the Riddle Me This mission. Three of the remaining eight require specific characters: Nightwing (Docks), Catwoman (south-east pier), and Robin plus Jim Gordon (north-west water’s edge).

1. Riddle Me This (story unlock)
The first trophy is handed to you during the Riddle Me This quest, the first time you reach Tricorner with Jim Gordon. The puzzle introduces the core mechanic for the rest of the island: line up the real-world view with the mirrored reflection until the question mark snaps into place.

2. Electrified rooftop puzzle
In central Tricorner, a rooftop trophy sits on a floor that will fry anyone standing on it. You need glide to reach it.
Step on the red button on that platform. Once it turns green, the floor below is safe, so drop down and grab the trophy.

3. Hotel roof cage
A caged trophy sits on the hotel roof in the north-west of Tricorner. Opening it means completing three question marks scattered around nearby surfaces.
From the trophy, drop into the alley on the right and look back up at the building. Take out the final set of targets to finish the third question mark, then return to the now-open cage.

4. Elevator shaft drop
On the northern waterfront, an abandoned construction site contains a six-floor elevator shaft. The trophy itself is underground, and the puzzle needs to be armed first.
Grapple back outside to the highest point of the roof. Use pulse scan to find an orange-outlined port-a-loo, smash it, and rebuild the bricks into a vent.
Ride the new vent until you are directly above the elevator shaft, then cancel the glide and drop straight down without touching the sides. You should slam through the target on the floor.
Grapple to the roof and grab the battery from the lower lit question mark. Carry it down, ride the elevator to the mid-level slot, and insert it. Push the elevator button to move up to the next slot.
Return to ground level, retrieve the very first battery you placed in the elevator’s power slot, and bring it back to its original spot. The trophy will surface.

6. Iceberg Lounge target shoot
Opposite the Soder factory, south-west of the Iceberg Lounge, sits a caged trophy that requires fast Batarang work.
Pull the lever and immediately equip Batarangs. Hit six green tick targets before the timer runs out, and avoid every red target, or the cage stays shut.

7. Tricorner Docks (Nightwing required)
⚡
Character lock: This puzzle cannot be completed without Nightwing’s Cable Tether ability. Unlock him through story progression before attempting it.
The trophy is caged on a rooftop in the far south-west corner of the Tricorner Docks. It uses two batteries and a balanced power circuit.
Pulse scan and Batarang anything highlighted yellow across the rooftop. Follow the exposed wire to a pile of bricks and build them up to reveal a small battery on the far side of the roof.
Carry the small battery to ground level and place it in its matching slot. Pulse scan again, locate the second yellow-highlighted box in the far corner, and smash it to release the large battery.
Place the large battery in the opposite power slot. Switch to Nightwing and use Cable Tether to connect both batteries to the central unit. The unit needs to glow blue, which signals the load is balanced.
Switch to Jim Gordon and aim his Foam Sprayer at the hole on the side of the device where water is leaking out. Sealing the leak builds pressure inside, which lifts the trophy out for you to collect.

How to know each trophy is cleared
Every solved Riddler puzzle in Tricorner ends the same way: the cage or container opens, the trophy floats free, and walking into it triggers the standard collectible pickup chime. Your Tricorner progress counter in the pause menu should tick up by one each time. If a puzzle isn’t registering, the most common reasons are a missing character ability for trophies 7, 8, and 9, or a timer fail on the Iceberg Lounge target shoot.
Saving the character-locked puzzles for after the credits is the cleanest route. By that point Nightwing, Catwoman, Robin, and Gordon are all in the roster, and you can sweep the remaining eight trophies in a single loop around the island without backtracking.
