Tricorner Island holds nine Riddler Trophies, and a handful of them sit behind gliding, cable-tethering, and foam-spraying gates that only specific characters can clear. Wrapping up the main story first makes the cleanup much faster, since the full roster opens up the puzzles that need Nightwing, Catwoman, Robin, and Jim Gordon.

1. Riddle Me This (story unlock)
The first trophy is handed to you during the Riddle Me This quest, the first time you reach Tricorner with Jim Gordon. The puzzle introduces the core mechanic for the rest of the island: line up the real-world view with the mirrored reflection until the question mark snaps into place.

2. Electrified rooftop puzzle
In central Tricorner, a rooftop trophy sits on a floor that will fry anyone standing on it. You need glide to reach it.
Step 1: Head to the vents north-west of the rooftop. Ride them upward toward the Q-Corp chimney stack to get enough altitude.
Step 2: From the chimney vent, glide carefully across to the small platform above the electrified floor.
Step 3: Step on the red button on that platform. Once it turns green, the floor below is safe, so drop down and grab the trophy.

3. Hotel roof cage
A caged trophy sits on the hotel roof in the north-west of Tricorner. Opening it means completing three question marks scattered around nearby surfaces.
Step 1: Glide to the hotel roof from the construction site to the north. Find the water tower and grapple to the streetlight directly underneath it.
Step 2: Look up and throw Batarangs at the targets on either side of the water tower until the central lights complete a question mark.
Step 3: Drop to the lower roof behind the trophy, find the second incomplete question mark on a window, and hit those targets to finish it.
Step 4: From the trophy, drop into the alley on the right and look back up at the building. Take out the final set of targets to finish the third question mark, then return to the now-open cage.

4. Elevator shaft drop
On the northern waterfront, an abandoned construction site contains a six-floor elevator shaft. The trophy itself is underground, and the puzzle needs to be armed first.
Step 1: Walk onto the target at the very bottom of the elevator shaft to start the puzzle.
Step 2: Grapple back outside to the highest point of the roof. Use pulse scan to find an orange-outlined port-a-loo, smash it, and rebuild the bricks into a vent.
Step 3: Ride the new vent until you are directly above the elevator shaft, then cancel the glide and drop straight down without touching the sides. You should slam through the target on the floor.
Step 4: Climb the ladder to the trophy, grab it, and pull the lever to escape.

5. GCPD battery relay
North-east of the GCPD building, this puzzle is a battery shuffle between an elevator and the rooftop.
Step 1: On the east side of the building at ground level, pick up the battery and slot it into the elevator's power slot to bring the lift online.
Step 2: Grapple to the roof and grab the battery from the lower lit question mark. Carry it down, ride the elevator to the mid-level slot, and insert it. Push the elevator button to move up to the next slot.
Step 3: Grapple to the roof directly above and take the battery from the upper question mark. Drop back to the elevator and slot it into the highest opening.
Step 4: Return to ground level, retrieve the very first battery you placed in the elevator's power slot, and bring it back to its original spot. The trophy will surface.

6. Iceberg Lounge target shoot
Opposite the Soder factory, south-west of the Iceberg Lounge, sits a caged trophy that requires fast Batarang work.
Step 1: Pulse scan the area and follow the line across the roof until you land on a green question mark with a lever just to your left.
Step 2: Pull the lever and immediately equip Batarangs. Hit six green tick targets before the timer runs out, and avoid every red target, or the cage stays shut.

7. Tricorner Docks (Nightwing required)
The trophy is caged on a rooftop in the far south-west corner of the Tricorner Docks. It uses two batteries and a balanced power circuit.
Step 1: Pulse scan and Batarang anything highlighted yellow across the rooftop. Follow the exposed wire to a pile of bricks and build them up to reveal a small battery on the far side of the roof.
Step 2: Carry the small battery to ground level and place it in its matching slot. Pulse scan again, locate the second yellow-highlighted box in the far corner, and smash it to release the large battery.
Step 3: Place the large battery in the opposite power slot. Switch to Nightwing and use Cable Tether to connect both batteries to the central unit. The unit needs to glow blue, which signals the load is balanced.
Step 4: Return to the roof and have Nightwing slide the yellow lever along its track to push power through. The cage opens.

8. South-east pier (Catwoman required)
Step 1: At the very end of the south-east pier, use the Batclaw on the panel attached to the unit beside the trophy cage to rip it off.
Step 2: Switch to Catwoman and use her whip to reel a submerged platform up from the water.
Step 3: Smash the objects on the platform to expose a lever. Reattach the lever to the cage device and pull it to release the trophy.

9. North-west water's edge (Robin and Jim Gordon required)
Step 1: Play as Robin and interact with the side panel of the device to pry the door open.
Step 2: Find the large battery sitting among the debris by the water to the right of the puzzle. Carry it over and insert it into the power slot.
Step 3: Switch to Jim Gordon and aim his Foam Sprayer at the hole on the side of the device where water is leaking out. Sealing the leak builds pressure inside, which lifts the trophy out for you to collect.

How to know each trophy is cleared
Every solved Riddler puzzle in Tricorner ends the same way: the cage or container opens, the trophy floats free, and walking into it triggers the standard collectible pickup chime. Your Tricorner progress counter in the pause menu should tick up by one each time. If a puzzle isn't registering, the most common reasons are a missing character ability for trophies 7, 8, and 9, or a timer fail on the Iceberg Lounge target shoot.
Saving the character-locked puzzles for after the credits is the cleanest route. By that point Nightwing, Catwoman, Robin, and Gordon are all in the roster, and you can sweep the remaining eight trophies in a single loop around the island without backtracking.
