Beast Universal Tear stage and Rohan boss phases

The Beast Universal Tear joins the stage rotation. On wave 5 you pick one of three buff cards, and wave 20 starts a four-phase fight against Rohan. Clearing the stage gives a chance to drop the new Rohan (Mystic) unit.

PhaseWhat happens
Phase 1 — Base RohanBeat the first phase to choose from three buff cards.
Phase 2 — Super Saiyan RohanThe boss gains a movement buff; defeating him grants another buff card.
Phase 3 — Mystic RohanHe moves even faster before the final phase begins.
Phase 4 — Blanco BeastRohan reaches maximum velocity. Includes an optional clash; a win grants buffs and a loss applies debuffs.

Maximum Bio-Android World Raid (12 players)

The Maximum Bio-Android World Raid lets up to 12 players team up against Bio-Android Maximum. The raid drops the Maximum Bio-Android (Disaster) unit along with its evolution items.

Maximum Bio-Android World Raid UTDX Update

After 10 waves, Bio-Android Maximum appears and challenges the lobby. You break his Elemental Shields by hitting them with units that have elemental advantage. Every shield destroyed forces the boss to swap its element and sell your units, refunding 90 percent of the Yen spent on each one. The shields fall in the order of Fire, Water, Wind, then Rose.

For every two shields broken, the boss grabs a random player and locks them out of controlling their units, so the team has to free trapped teammates. Once the boss spawns, you can also collect Dragon Spheres. This is optional, and using active abilities has a chance to spawn them.

Collect all seven Dragon Spheres to unlock an All Out Attack that at least half the lobby must activate. A successful All Out Attack instantly destroys one Elemental Shield, or, if every shield is already down, deals a large percentage of combined total damage to the boss.

After every shield is gone, Bio-Android Maximum begins charging his attack. You get a minute to set up, then 15 seconds to deal enough damage to stop him. Succeed and his ability stabilizes, letting you keep attacking until you win. Fail and he fires an Energy Bomb that wipes the map, though a comeback win is still possible.

Elemental Shield mechanic

Elemental Shields are a new type of HP bar that can only be broken with effective elements. They appear in the Maximum Bio-Android World Raid and add element matching to the boss fight, forcing teams to bring varied elemental coverage rather than a single damage type.

  • End screen visual refresh
  • New Disable Placement Cutscene setting, which currently applies to Blanco Beast
  • Stage Challenges added to every stage for extra rerolls and rewards
  • Bug fixes

The Universal Festival Finale runs as a timed window, so the Beast Universal Tear, the Maximum Bio-Android World Raid, and the Flames and Waves Event are the fastest routes to the six new units while the event is live. Prioritize the raid for Maximum Bio-Android (Disaster), the Beast Universal Tear for Rohan (Mystic), and the event capsules for the two exclusive units before the finale wraps.
