Velvet Buzzsaw (Movie)

Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, John Malkovich, Billy Magnussen, Natalia Dyer, and Toni Collette, this flick is set in the world of art — where a struggling artist comes across innumerable problems when a fellow partner dies.


Russian Doll (Series – S1)

Fans of OITNB and Nicky Nichols, get ready for this new series featuring Natasha Lyonne. The 8-episode show is based in New York where Nadia (Lyonne) is the guest of honor in a party thrown exclusively for her. While at the party, she repeatedly goes back to her 36th birthday and is caught in a never-ending time loop. Surreal, right? We can’t deny that this is going to be our next Netflix obsession.


Always a Witch (Series – S1)

This Spanish series is another addition to Netflix’s catalog of shows about witches. The plot revolves around a young witch who travels between the past and present in the town of Cartagena, Colombia. 


One Day At a Time (Series – S3)

One Day at a Time is a Netflix original Emmy-nominated sit-com that will premiere its 3rd season in February 2019. It is a continuation of the 2nd installment where we will get to witness the continuation of the previous plotlines, revolving around the Cuban-American family.


High Flying Bird (Movie)

One of the most-awaited Netflix original movies, High Flying Bird is directed by the award-winning director – Steven Soderbergh and stars Zazi Beetz, Zachary Quinto, Kyle MacLachlan, and Andre Holland. A perfect flick for sports-lovers, the story follows an agent who engages with a notorious basketball client on a tempting and contentious business deal.


The Umbrella Academy (Series – S1)

This 10-episode superhero-based series follows a group of individuals with superpowers who come together after their adoptive father passes away. It features an impressive cast comprising Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, Robert Sheehan, and Mary J. Blige.


The ‘Breaker Upperers’ (Movie)

The comedy made in New Zealand was released in 2018 in the country. However, Netflix is bringing it out to the rest of the global audience as an original film in February 2018. It is based on an agency – run by Jen and Mel who devise methods to break up couples using funny, unorthodox methods.


Paddleton (Movie)

In this emotional, sensitive film, you see Mark Duplass and Ray Romano as two misfits who develop an unlikely friendship. However, one is diagnosed with terminal cancer and the movie follows the duo’s journey thereafter.


Suburra: Blood on Rome (Series – S2)

Release Date: Feb 22

Suburra: Blood on Rome is the first Italian Netflix original that premiered its first season in 2017. A mix of The Wire and Breaking Bad, this show gives us a view of the power clashes between Rome and Vatican City.
