VV: ULTIMATUM is an action RPG on Roblox built around the world of the Bleach anime and manga. You pick one of three main factions, follow that faction’s storyline, fight through quests and bosses, and evolve your starting form into stronger versions as you progress.

Quick answer: Choose a Race (Shinigami, Quincy, or Hollow) at the start, follow the Helpful Spirit’s directions, beat the rival-Race NPCs, then track the blue exclamation points to the obelisk and interact with it to open the doors to your first boss.

What VV: ULTIMATUM is and how it plays

The game is developed by Midnight Continent and runs on a linear questline. Your faction choice decides which story and quest chain you follow, so progression is structured rather than open-ended. Completing quests unlocks evolutions that raise your power, alongside weapon upgrades, charms, and tiered equipment.

You can play it directly on the official Roblox game page. The systems below are the core mechanics you will use throughout a run.

  • Races: Shinigami, Quincy, and Hollows, each with their own abilities, fighting styles, and unique evolutions.
  • Skilltree: Strengthen your character through paths such as Hakudo, Speed, Strength, and Kido.
  • Weapons: Iconic Bleach weapons that gain multiple evolution stages as you build a connection with them.
  • Charms: Special items that grant buffs to you or your weapons in combat.
  • Equipment: Gear arranged in tiers, where higher tiers are more powerful than lower ones.
  • World and quests: Explore different areas to complete the main story and fight bosses.

Choosing a Race or Faction

Your first major decision is which Race to play. Each faction carries its own perks and drawbacks, so the choice shapes your entire questline. After you select a Race and load in, a Helpful Spirit greets you, explains the basic controls, and describes the Race you picked.

Reaching your first boss and first loot

Pick your Race, load into the game, and listen to the Helpful Spirit. It covers the controls and tells you where to go first.
Follow the spirit’s directions to fight the NPCs from the two Races you did not choose. Defeat them to continue.
Follow the blue exclamation points. They lead you to a large obelisk.
Interact with the obelisk. The giant doors behind it open, revealing your first boss and your first loot.

You know the sequence is working when the rival NPCs are cleared, the blue markers point you forward, and the doors behind the obelisk open after you interact with it. If the doors stay shut, you have not yet interacted with the obelisk itself, so approach it and press the interact key.

Interact with the obelisk to summon the first boss.

Release date status

No official release date has been confirmed. For announcements and updates straight from the team, the project keeps an active community on its official Discord server.

If you are starting out, the fastest way to feel progress is to commit to a single Race, lean into its Skilltree paths early, and keep upgrading your weapon as you push deeper into the questline.
