The M1911 is WARDOGS’ .45 ACP sidearm, a semi-automatic pistol that trades rate of fire for a heavier round than the 9mm handguns sitting below it in the vendor. It is small enough to carry alongside anything, quick to bring up, and completely outclassed the moment a fight stretches past 50 meters.

Quick answer: The M1911 costs $300 per purchase and opens at Wardog level 40 behind a one-time $25,000 unlock fee. It fires .45 ACP at 430 RPM for 30 damage per shot.

M1911 price, unlock level, and inventory slot

Two costs apply. The $25,000 unlock is paid once and permanently adds the pistol to your vendor list. After that, the $300 purchase price is charged every time you kit out, so a death means buying it again.

Level 40 is a long way into progression for a $300 handgun, which is the single biggest thing to weigh before planning around it. The GGX 17 covers the same slot from level 1.

The 0.2-second ADS time is the number that matters most in practice. Swapping to the M1911 when a primary runs dry is faster than reloading it, and the 1.1 kg weight barely registers in a loadout.

Handling multipliers are all neutral — vertical recoil, horizontal recoil, spread, accuracy, and holster speed all sit at 1. Equip speed is the one exception at 0.92.

M1911 damage by hit zone

Every .45 ACP load the pistol takes deals the same 30 base damage. What changes the outcome is where the round lands. Against an unarmored 100 HP target at point blank, the multipliers work out like this.

Hit zoneMultiplierDamageShots
Head×2.7381.92
Neck×2.04861.42
Upper torso×1.502453
Torso×1.365413
Lower torso×1.29738.93
Pelvis×1.22936.93
Upper arm / thigh×1.01430.44
Forearm / calf×0.84525.44
Hand / foot×0.50715.27

At 430 RPM, a two-shot head or neck kill takes 0.14 seconds and a three-shot torso kill takes 0.28 seconds. Limb hits stretch that to 0.42 seconds, and hitting hands or feet is effectively a lost duel at 0.84 seconds.

Base player health has never been published, so the shots-to-kill column is calculated against a 100 HP target. The multipliers themselves are fixed.

Damage falloff past 50 meters

The M1911 holds full damage out to 50 meters, then falls away to a 0.3× multiplier by 1,200 meters. Combined with a 253 m/s muzzle velocity and a fixed 25-meter zero, there is no reason to take a shot beyond that effective range band.

M1911 performance against Level 1 Armor

Armor changes the math quickly. Firing standard FMJ into the upper torso of a target wearing Level 1 Armor at point blank, each round lands for 31.53 damage after the armor reduction. That is four shots to kill and a 0.42-second time to kill, with the plate breaking after 17 hits.

Level 1 Armor itself costs $400, carries 200 durability, and covers the upper, middle, and lower torso. It unlocks at Wardog level 3 for a one-time $10,000 fee.

Since the torso is covered and the head is not, the head and neck multipliers are where the M1911 keeps any real speed advantage against armored opponents.

M1911 magazines and muzzle attachments

The pistol has two gunsmith slots, magazine and muzzle, with two options each. The 10-round magazine is fitted by default.

SlotAttachmentPriceDetail
MagazineM1911 10 RND Magazine$3510 rounds, 0.38 kg, default
MagazineM1911 7 RND Magazine$207 rounds, 0.22 kg
Muzzle.45 ACP Pistol Compensator$1,0300.1 kg
MuzzleSG Multi-Caliber Suppressor$1,2200.6 kg

Both magazines alter aim time, horizontal recoil, and vertical recoil. There is no reason to take the 7-round option for the $15 saving unless you are squeezing a budget loadout.

.45 ACP Pistol Compensator

The compensator gives moderate vertical recoil reduction plus minor horizontal recoil and spread reduction, at the cost of a minor ADS speed penalty. It unlocks at Wardog level 43 for a one-time $15,000 fee.

SG Multi-Caliber Suppressor

The suppressor cuts your sound profile, moderates muzzle flash, and gives a minor spread reduction, again with a minor ADS speed penalty. It sits behind Medic level 48 and a $50,000 unlock fee, which makes it a far larger investment than the pistol it bolts onto.

Either muzzle attachment costs more than three times the M1911 itself, and the weapon’s purchase price is charged per life. Kitting out the sidearm is a meaningful economic decision, not a cheap upgrade.

Compatible .45 ACP ammunition and prices

Ammunition is bought separately from the weapon. Every load listed below deals the same 30 base damage, and each has a tracer variant at the same price.

AmmunitionTypePrice
.45 ACPFull Metal Jacket$10
.45 ACP Standard (FMJ)Full Metal Jacket$10
.45 ACP Flesh Damage (HP)Hollow Point$15
.45 ACP Armor Piercing (AP)Armor Piercing$20

Armor piercing runs at 1.5× the cost of standard and hollow point at 2×. The M1911 is the only pistol chambered in .45 ACP — the Super-45 SMG shares the caliber, so a loadout running both draws from the same ammunition budget.

How the M1911 compares to other WARDOGS pistols

GGX 189x19mm$800Level 70, $50,000
Deagle.50 AE$900Level 85, $75,000

GGX 17 is the cheap default. Its 9mm round lands for 17.79 per hit against Level 1 Armor, needing six shots where the M1911 needs four.

M1911

Judge hits harder per shot at 36.38 into armored upper torso and kills in three, but its 200 RPM fire rate stretches that to a 0.60-second time to kill — slower overall than the M1911.

GGX 18 is the fastest of the group in practice. It deals the same per-hit damage as the GGX 17 and needs the same six shots, but its automatic fire mode closes that out in 0.25 seconds.

On raw speed alone the M1911 lands at #16 of 20 ranked weapons, with a 419 ms time to kill and four shots to kill against an unarmored target. That is a fair reflection of what it is — a backup that ends close-range fights, not a primary substitute. Keep engagements inside 50 meters, aim high on the body, and lean on the fast swap rather than trying to win open ground with it.
