Orichalcum Ore is a tier-1 Blacksmithing and Armorsmithing material you pull out of Ore nodes scattered across the open world. It comes in four grades, and all of them pour out of the same node type, so finding the ore is less about luck and more about knowing which regions carry the most spots.
Quick answer: Gather the Orichalcum node with Essence Extraction (usable from Proficiency Lv. 1) in Verteron (546 spots) or Altgard (530 spots). Each gather yields one ore, with the grade decided by the node.
Where Orichalcum nodes are: Verteron and Altgard
On the Global version, Orichalcum nodes exist in two regions. Verteron holds the larger share, followed closely by Altgard.

| Region | Orichalcum nodes |
|---|---|
| Verteron | 546 |
| Altgard | 530 |
In Verteron, nodes cluster around spots like Ellun River Midstream, Kraka Footpath, Aullaeu Village and Verteron Fortress Ruins, among roughly two dozen areas in total. Altgard spreads its nodes across places such as Basfelt Ruins, the Dredgion Crash Site, Fafnite Deposit and Nameless Cemetery.

Add to Google Preferences →The four Orichalcum Ore grades
A single Orichalcum node can give any of four ores, separated by grade. You cannot pick which one you get, and each successful gather delivers one unit. The higher grades sell for more and feed higher-rarity crafting, and they carry higher required levels before you can use them.

| Ore | Grade | Required level | Sell price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 15 | 5 kina | |
| Rare | 25 | 15 kina | |
| Epic | 35 | 45 kina | |
| Unique | 40 | 135 kina |
Turning Orichalcum Ore into ingots
Blacksmithing turns the Common ore into Orichalcum Ingot. The basic recipe is open from Blacksmithing mastery 1 and takes 2 Orichalcum Ore plus 1 Orichalcum Solvent (Bound) for one ingot. At mastery 25 a bulk version of the same recipe opens, using 20 ore and 10 solvent in a single craft. Both have a 95.2% base success chance, so expect to lose roughly one craft in twenty.
| Recipe | Blacksmithing mastery | Orichalcum Ore | Orichalcum Solvent (Bound) | Base success |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Single craft | 1 | 2 | 1 | 95.2% |
| Bulk craft | 25 | 20 | 10 | 95.2% |
Orichalcum nodes can also hand over a bonus material on top of the ore, Poko’s Skin Bundle (Bound), so a mining route pays out a little more than the ore count alone suggests. All four ore grades can be traded, and besides gathering, ore also comes as a quest reward.
The finished ingot is a tier-1 Common material with a required level of 15 that sells for 14 kina and can be traded. Because the Common ore itself only sells for 5 kina, stockpiling nodes and processing them is worth more than vendoring the raw ore, and the higher grades you pull along the way cover Rare, Epic and Unique crafting as you level.
