Genshin Impact 7.0: Where to Farm Volkodlak Brutes in Snezhnaya

Nine reliable spots across the Volkodlak Tundra and Flamefeather Valley for Accreted Fragments and Ethereal Crystals.

Nine reliable spots across the Volkodlak Tundra and Flamefeather Valley for Accreted Fragments and Ethereal Crystals.

Volkodlak Brutes are elite enemies that arrived with Snezhnaya’s open world in Genshin Impact 7.0. They roam the tundra in the overworld, hit harder than common foes, and carry far more health, so each one takes real effort to bring down. The payoff is worth it, because they drop the ascension materials you need to level both characters and weapons.

Quick answer: The most concentrated Volkodlak Brute spawns sit around Sretomorozsk and Rankova Zorya in the Volkodlak Tundra, plus the Flamefeather Valley Statue of the Seven. Teleport to those points, then sweep the frozen lakes, canyons, and campsites nearby to clear a full farming run.

What Volkodlak Brutes drop

Every Brute you defeat can yield Accreted Fragments and Ethereal Crystals. Both feed directly into character and weapon ascension, which makes these elites a core farming target once you reach Snezhnaya.

Set up your route before farming

Finish the Archon Quest first, then unlock every Teleport Waypoint and the Statues of the Seven across Snezhnaya. With those points active, hopping between spawns becomes quick and you avoid long overland detours through the snow.

It also helps to drop custom pins on each cluster as you learn the map. Marking spawns lets you retrace a full loop on your next farming pass without hunting for them again.

Sretomorozsk and Rankova Zorya spawns

This corner of the Volkodlak Tundra holds the densest Brute activity, so it is the best place to start a run. From the Sretomorozsk Statue of the Seven, turn right and head toward the glacial canyon in the distance. You will find several Brutes near a campsite and out on the frozen canyon.

Next, move to the large frozen lake east of Sretomorozsk. A batch of Brutes waits at the edge of the ice, and the nearest waypoint puts you within a short walk of them.

Rankova Zorya station has two more clusters. Spawn there, head straight, and drop down below the railtrack bridge to find a pair of Brutes salvaging a large ice chunk on top of a frozen lake. On a second pass, spawn at Rankova Zorya again and go south, where Brutes gather near another ice chunk in the middle of a heat source.

Flamefeather Valley spawns

Flamefeather Valley gives you two solid stops. South of its Statue of the Seven, near a waypoint beside the railway track, teleport in and walk straight past the large ice chunk to reach a Brute stationed near a campsite.

For the second stop, spawn on the Flamefeather Valley Statue of the Seven and head into the marked purple area on the map. Push deep inside and you will run into a fair number of Brutes spawning alongside other enemies, which makes this one of the busier clusters in the region.

Morepesok and domain-adjacent spawns

Two domain entrances double as farming anchors. Teleport to the Inverted Glacier domain entrance south of Morpesok, then move to the nearby Brutes waiting in the open.

The Scars of Cursed Obsession domain covers another spawn. Navigate to the domain entrance to activate its waypoint, then head south on the map to find the Brute.

Finally, spawn on the waypoint just south of Morepesok and follow the road that leads down into the town. Several Brutes appear along the way, so this stretch works well as a walking route rather than a single fixed point.

Because Brutes carry heavy health pools and stronger damage, bring a team you can sustain with and be ready for a longer fight than a common enemy. Clear each cluster, collect the Accreted Fragments and Ethereal Crystals from the drop, and the region refills over time so you can repeat the loop whenever your ascension stock runs low.
