Apricot Village is a small location in Where Winds Meet that becomes relevant at the end of the Ever-Normal Granary campaign quest, when Zheng E asks you to place his notes (or letter) in a specific house. The game’s direction is brief, and the landmark description can be confusing, so it helps to know exactly what to look for once you reach the village.
Apricot Village location (Kaifeng → Granary of Plenty)
Apricot Village sits in the Granary of Plenty area of Kaifeng. It’s positioned far north in that region, near the Qinghe border and along the imperial city walls. If you’re scanning the Kaifeng map broadly, players often describe it as being toward the top-right side of the Kaifeng map.
If you’ve already unlocked the Apricot Village Boundary Stone, it’s the fastest way to return for any quest cleanup.

Landmarks that confirm you’re at the right house
The quest text points you to a house “under the white apricot tree.” The more reliable read on that landmark is the tree with white leaves near the target building. You’re looking for the house on the southern side of the village area, before the river crossing, rather than trying to interpret the village’s “corners” from a distance.
What happens after you place the notes
After placing the notes, you can return to Autumn Dusk Dwelling. Zheng E will no longer be there. Enter the house and read Zheng E’s Letter on the table to finish the post-quest portion and receive the achievement A Promise Fulfilled.

Optional follow-up: Zhai Xu interaction
There’s an additional conversation some players trigger with Zhai Xu after the letter placement. One reported path is to go left, cross the bridge, enter the building on the left, and speak with Zhai Xu about having seen the letter.
