Gildbloom Nectar is a Wandering Tale in the Hidden Mountain region of Where Winds Meet, filed under Goldflow Slope Part 1. It is short, but it has one step that stops players cold: the ending only plays out inside a specific in-game time window, and nothing happens if the clock is set wrong.

Quick answer: Talk to Old Man Jing near Lodestar Vista, collect three Gildbloom Nectar from Gilded Honeycombs hanging in nearby trees, hand all three to him, then travel to Weeping Pool and advance the in-game clock to the You hour (17:00–19:00) to trigger the final scene with Su.

Where Gildbloom Nectar starts in Goldflow Slope

The tale is tracked from the Exploration menu. Open it, pick Wandering Tales, choose Hidden Mountain, and select Gildbloom Nectar to pin it and see the marked area on the world map. The starting point sits in the flower field above Goldflow Slope, and the closest fast travel point is Lodestar Vista.

Teleport to Lodestar Vista and run uphill past the stone stairs into the open flower field. The objective marker sits a short distance ahead, so you can follow the distance counter rather than the terrain.

Speak to Old Man Jing, the NPC standing beside the cherry blossom tree. He asks for help gathering honey from the Gildbloom Sea, and the quest log updates with the collection objective once the conversation ends.

All three Gilded Honeycomb locations

Each portion of Gildbloom Nectar comes from a Gilded Honeycomb hanging in a tree. The honeycombs are not on the ground, so expect to climb, jump, or glide down to reach the branch before the interact prompt appears. All three sit inside the marked Goldflow Slope area, and the quest markers update one at a time as you collect them.

HoneycombNearest travel pointHow to reach it
FirstWeeping Pool or Lodestar VistaHead east from the flower field, glide down the cliff, and climb the tree on the wooded hill
SecondLodestar VistaMove south across the rocks toward the cliffside tree in the forest and jump to the branch
ThirdLodestar VistaClimb the rocky cliffs to the west, then cross the upper forest to the tree beside a small shrine

Tip: fast travelling back to Lodestar Vista between pickups is usually quicker than running across the slope, since two of the three trees sit on higher ground above the field.

Deliver 3 Gildbloom Nectar to Old Man Jing

Open the world map and place a temporary waypoint back on Old Man Jing’s position in the flower field. Pick the marker category you want from the waypoint menu so the trail is easy to follow on the run back up the hill.

Placing a temporary waypoint on the map keeps the route back to the quest giver visible.
Talk to Old Man Jing again and choose the Give option to submit 3 Gildbloom Nectar. Work through the dialogue that follows, which points you toward the person who has been taking the honey.

If the Give option is missing, you are still short a honeycomb. Check the quest log counter and return for the tree you skipped.

Set the clock to the You hour and confront Su at Weeping Pool

The final beat is a timed meeting by the water at sunset. Arriving outside that window means the scene will not start, no matter where you stand.

Open the map, mark Weeping Pool to the west of the quest area, and travel there. It sits below the slope, near the watermill and its wooden dock.

Open the in-game Time menu and advance the clock to the You hour, which covers roughly 17:00 to 19:00. Setting it to 18:00 lands safely inside the window.
Walk out to the wooden dock by the watermill and approach the boy named Su. Old Man Jing joins the confrontation and the closing dialogue explains why the honey kept disappearing.

Confirming the quest is complete

When the dialogue with Su and Old Man Jing finishes, the Wandering Tales entry for Gildbloom Nectar is marked Completed and the reward prompt appears. If it is still showing as active, one of two things is usually the cause. Either the three Gildbloom Nectar were never handed over through the Give option, or the in-game clock was outside the You hour when you reached Weeping Pool.

Both are easy to undo. Re-open the Time menu, push the clock forward to 18:00, and walk back onto the dock to start the scene again. With that done, Goldflow Slope’s Hidden Mountain tale list ticks over and you can move on to the next entry in the region.
