In Where Winds Meet, Greenshade Village in the Qingzhou – Eastern Peak region has 14 Sentient Beings anecdotes listed in the Experience tab. These brief stories cover the Inkbound Order, village agriculture, and leek commerce near Crownleek Terrace. To register one, talk to or overhear the appropriate NPC at the correct time. Most are available during the day; five can be found only on Everbloom Bazaar market days, and one only at midnight.
Quick answer: Set the clock between Chen and You Hour for nine anecdotes. Advance time to the Everbloom Bazaar opening for five more, then switch to Zi Hour and talk to Yan Dacong.

Completing a full Experience record awards 5 Echo Jade and 5 Qingzhou Exploration. An entry nested beneath a main record grants 2 Echo Jade, but no Exploration points.
Time-of-day rules for Greenshade Village anecdotes
The game uses the traditional Chinese double-hours, and you change them from the time wheel in the menu. If an NPC is missing, check the clock before you check your location. Three time windows cover the whole set.
- Chen Hour to You Hour: daytime, used for nine anecdotes. Wu Hour or Wei Hour works reliably.
- Zi Hour (23:00, midnight): needed only for The Fated Leeks.
- Everbloom Bazaar market opening: needed for anecdotes 4 through 8. These vendors do not appear on other days.
Every location is in Qingzhou – Eastern Peak. Sageplow Stead is the most useful teleport point. It sits a short run from the stone bridge into Greenshade Village and close to the riverbank needed for Reviving the Land.
Crownleek Terrace field anecdotes
Three anecdotes sit in the fields south of the village, so do them in one trip. Teleport to the Crownleek Terrace waypoint and set the clock between Chen and You Hour.
Mutual Growth
Walk into the middle of the leek field, where Duan Sijing is teaching Wang Sijia. Talk to Wang Sijia, pick Audit and learn, and listen to the lesson until the record registers.
A Land of Potential
Continue south along the dirt path until you reach Lu Wenxin. Select About the Wasteland, then hear all his dialogue about converting wasteland into farmland. The anecdote is recorded once the conversation concludes.
The Fated Leeks
Stay near Lu Wenxin’s spot, open the time wheel and move the clock to Zi Hour. Yan Dacong, a farmer who only works at night, appears by the terrace wall next to the moonlit field. Talk to him, then choose Noble Bamboo Grove and Please Elaborate to unlock the anecdote.
Yan Dacong is present only at Zi Hour. If the field is empty, reopen the time wheel and check that the clock shows midnight.
Everbloom Bazaar market-day anecdotes
Charity Market, Wellspring Kites, Prize-Winning Leeks, Tranquil Pier’s Saltmakers and Visiting Scholars only exist while Everbloom Bazaar is open. On other days the stalls are empty, so you need to bring the market forward before you can talk to anyone.
How to make Everbloom Bazaar open
Charity Market
Find the produce sellers Du Yukun and Xie Fangfei at their vegetable stall. Talk to Xie Fangfei to complete the record.
Wellspring Kites
He Feng runs the stall covered in hanging kites. Talk to him about his designs from Wellspring Town to unlock the anecdote.
Prize-Winning Leeks
Yi Gencong stands next to stacks of oversized, bundled leeks. Talk to him and ask about the Crown Leek.
Tranquil Pier’s Saltmakers
This record has two parts. Start with Wang Jianghe at the fresh fish stall. Then walk to the cured meat rack, where Li Li sells sausages next to Jiao Hong, and talk to Li Li to finish it.
Visiting Scholars
Go to the stall lined with wine jars and talk to Dajiu. Choosing Raging Tides? in the dialogue unlocks the record.
Greenshade Village and Sageplow Stead anecdotes
The other six anecdotes are found within Greenshade Village and its outskirts, and require daytime. Wu Hour is the most reliable choice. Begin by teleporting to Sageplow Stead and crossing the stone bridge.
Origins of Crownleek Terrace
Find the outdoor dining table where Chu Xiaoshan sits with Old Man Wang and Granny Wang. Talk to Chu Xiaoshan and let the conversation with Old Man Wang play out.
Farm Recess
Go uphill to the outer village house, where Inkbound Order disciple He Yiwei tells stories to a child, Yu Xiaobao. Face He Yiwei and use the Salute emote to bow. Then talk to him and choose Listen to the story, followed by Literary Champion Lin?.
The Historians of Jianghu
Go into the stone house right behind He Yiwei. Salute Wang Ping, then talk to Wang Ping and Lu Tian. The anecdote registers after their talk about Laureate Lin and the school’s rules.
Inkbound Order Field
Leave the house and head toward the wooden cart parked outside the fields. Don’t start a conversation here. Stand behind the cart near Fu Erdai and Zuo Tijia until the eavesdropping prompt appears, then listen to their talk about private schooling.
Reviving the Land
This anecdote needs two people. Teleport to Sageplow Stead, go down to the river canal bank and talk to Huang Qiushui by the water. That adds the Silt Irrigation journal entry. Then run uphill to the raised fields and talk to Li Li about the terraced fields and drainage, which also registers Terraces & Fields. Doing Li Li first and Huang Qiushui second also completes the record.
The Art of Promotion
Climb to the raised wooden deck above the leek field and talk to Zou Shenggui about how Crownleek Terrace began. Then find Sha Tangju, the tea vendor resting in a sheltered spot near the dining table by the village entrance. Talking to her completes the record.
How to check Greenshade Village anecdote progress
Each anecdote shows an on-screen notification the moment it registers, and its Echo Jade and Qingzhou Exploration rewards are added right away. To see the full set, open the Sentient Beings compendium, select Experience and choose Greenshade Village. Unlocked anecdotes are filled in and missing ones are greyed out. When all 14 are filled, the Greenshade Village collection is complete.
