World of Warcraft: Valanaar Hunter Trainer Location (Hall of Arms)

Quel'ana Quickgale handles both hunter training and pet training, and she stands just inside the village's Hall of Arms.

Valanaar is a compact night elf settlement on Zephras Isle, and like most starting hubs it keeps its class trainers tucked into buildings rather than standing out in the open. That is the main reason hunters run laps around the village without ever spotting theirs.

Quick answer: The hunter trainer is Quel’ana Quickgale. Walk into the Hall of Arms in Valanaar and look to your right immediately after entering — she is standing just inside the doorway.

Quel’ana Quickgale: Hunter trainer and pet trainer in one NPC

Quel’ana Quickgale carries two titles, Hunter Trainer and Pet Trainer, so you do not need to track down a separate NPC for beast-related training. One stop covers both sides of the class.

How to reach the Hall of Arms in Valanaar

Open your world map and confirm you are actually standing in Valanaar on Zephras Isle. The zone map also shows the neighbouring settlements, which is an easy way to tell whether you have wandered out of the village.

Follow the paved main street through the middle of the village. The night elf architecture on either side is your landmark — the trainer buildings all sit along this run rather than out on the grass.
Head for the Hall of Arms, the village’s combat training building. Its entrance opens straight onto the street, so you can run in without circling the structure.
Step through the door and turn your camera right without moving any further in. Quel’ana Quickgale stands close to the entrance on that side, which is why she is easy to run straight past if you head for the back of the hall first.

How to confirm you have the right NPC

Hover over the NPC before you talk to her. The nameplate should read Quel’ana Quickgale <Hunter Trainer>, with the pet trainer role attached to the same character. Interacting with her opens the standard trainer window, which is your confirmation that you are in the right building.

If a trainer hands you a quest and it does not show up in your log, log out and back in. A relog refreshes the quest state and usually makes the missing entry appear.

Druid trainer location in Valanaar

Valanaar’s druid trainer is not inside a building at all, which trips up players who assume every trainer shares the same hall. Lothaium Starbreeze stands outdoors on a raised ledge above the village pond, the same pond where the fishing trainer is found.

  • Start from the southern part of the village and follow the stone path uphill toward the large tree.
  • Veer left off the road onto the grassy hillside before you reach the tree.
  • Climb the rocky ledge up to the ridge overlooking the village.
  • Lothaium Starbreeze is on the ledge beside a tree, above the waterfall.

He is also the starting point for the level 10 bear form chain. Talking to him sends you to an NPC near the map edge at the end of the river, a short run from Valanaar, who gives the quest to kill the bear and unlock the form.

Both trainers sit within a minute’s run of each other, so if you are levelling an alt through the same village there is no need to plan a separate trip. Note the Hall of Arms door on your first pass and the rest of Valanaar’s trainers fall into place around it.
