Zephras Isle: The Skyborne Starting Zone (Levels 1-12)
Zephras Isle is where the new Skyborne race begins, covering levels 1-12. It is an elemental, sky-bound opening area that pairs classic Warcraft looks with buildings inspired by Skywall. The setup is a crisis from the start. The air spirits that guarded the island are gone, its structures are breaking down, and the Skyborne themselves are split.
Playing a Skyborne character requires the Heroic Pack or a higher upgrade.
The Riverglades: Mid-30s to Mid-40s Questing
The Riverglades is a rough frontier of rivers and grasslands, crossed by trade routes and home to struggling communities with old grudges between them. It carries more than 150 new quests and covers a large part of the mid-30s to mid-40s stretch of leveling.
Krol’dok Stronghold is another zone feature: a dungeon for characters level 40-45.
Shen’dralas: Between Mulgore and Desolace in Kalimdor
Shen’dralas lies in Kalimdor, with Mulgore and Desolace on either side. A secret concealed there for years now forms the basis of a questline. The story draws on the history of Eldre’Thalas and Dire Maul, while also involving the Shen’dralar and the area’s centaur tribes.
Mount Hyjal: Darkwhisper Gorge and Two Level 60 Raids
Mount Hyjal picks up after Archimonde’s defeat. You travel through Darkwhisper Gorge and help decide what comes next for a land that is still recovering.
The mountain also hosts two raids for level 60 players, both opening on 9 December 2026.

Hyjal Summit sits close to the World Tree Nordrassil. The Barrow Deeps has entrances linked through Mount Hyjal, Winterspring and Blackmaw Hold.
WoW Forever New Dungeons Across Both Continents
Nine new dungeons for five-player groups span levels 13-60. Eastern Kingdoms offerings include Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, Excavation Site, City of Dalaran in the Alterac Mountains, The Drowned City, and Krol’dok Stronghold. Kalimdor’s three are Shaper’s Terrace, Alcaz Prison, and Blackmaw Hold.
WoW Forever Max Level
The leveling journey runs from 1 to 60, and the level cap does not change. It stays at 60, which is also the level required for the two Mount Hyjal raids.
