Where the Court of Shackled Souls domain sits, how to break the construct’s core, and every drop it hands out.

The Thousand-Puppet Pavilion is a weekly boss added to Wuthering Waves in Version 3.5. It is a huge Autopuppet construct shaped like a walking building, and it drops the forte materials you need to raise resonator skills. Like other weekly bosses, you can clear it up to three times each week for rewards.

Quick answer: Reach the Court of Shackled Souls domain south of Xuanfang Hold, break the boss’s weapon arm and shield bar to stun it, then grapple onto its top and destroy the core to trigger Tune Break. Avoid Electro and Havoc as your main damage since it resists both.

Thousand-Puppet Pavilion location and unlock requirement

The fight takes place in the Court of Shackled Souls domain in the Xuan Peaks region, south of Xuanfang Hold. The node sits to the south-east of the main Xuanfang Hold city, and it becomes a permanent teleport point once you clear the story fight tied to it.

To open the domain, finish Chapter 4 Act 2: Xuanling Sings, Storm Quelled and unlock the Mengzhou area. After you defeat the boss during the main quest, the domain marker appears at that spot and you can warp straight to it to replay the challenge.

If you want to fight it before reaching that point in the story, open your Guidebook and select the Weekly Challenge tab to enter through Early Access.

How to break the Thousand-Puppet Pavilion and stun it

The boss has two stages of vulnerability. First you strip its shield, then you attack the exposed core. Target the right arm to speed this up.

Focus the boss’s right arm, which is the one holding the weapon and appears on your left. Breaking this limb staggers the construct and stuns it for a few seconds, giving you a free damage window.
Keep hitting it until the shield bar is fully removed. When the shield breaks, the Pavilion is stunned again and drops its guard.
While it is stunned, grapple to the top of the construct and destroy its exposed core. This inflicts Tune Break and lets you deal a burst of extra damage before it recovers.

Attacks to watch for and how to react

The Pavilion fights by slamming its walls and hurling its own body to create shockwaves. Most of its damage comes from wide ground attacks, so movement matters more than blocking here.

AttackWhat to do
Weapon slamThe boss smashes its weapon into the ground and sends out shockwaves that hit hard. Dodge outward as it lands.
Summoned constructsIt spawns box-shaped objects or wave-like projectiles that cannot be deflected. Dodge through them instead of parrying.
Arrow volleyThe boss fires a spread of arrows. Keep your distance to stay out of range.
Body throwIt launches itself to create shockwaves on impact. Roll away from the point where it lands.

Element resistances and team setups

The Thousand-Puppet Pavilion carries high resistance to Electro and Havoc damage. Bringing those elements as your main DPS makes the fight slower, which matters most in timed endgame modes like the Tower of Adversity and Endstate Matrix.

These team compositions cover its weaknesses and keep the pressure on during stun windows.

Thousand-Puppet Pavilion rewards

Claiming a weekly boss reward costs Waveplate. Each clear can drop the following items.

  • Thousand-Puppet Pavilion Echo
  • Skyward Glazed Heart
  • Advanced Sealed Tube
  • Advanced Energy Core
  • Standard Weapon Mold
  • Resonance Potion
  • Shell Credit
  • Union EXP and Intimacy

The Skyward Glazed Heart is the item you are really farming here. It is the forte material used to upgrade talents for resonators released from Version 3.5 onward, including Yangyang: Xuanling. Since you only get three clears a week, prioritize this boss whenever you are building one of those characters.
