Hsin, a 5-star Electro Resonator who fights with a Rectifier, becomes the first playable Sentinel when Wuthering Waves Version 3.7, “Prism’s Illusion, Heart’s Illumination,” launches on 30 September 2026. Her weapon type means she needs materials from the String forgery line. Most materials for reaching level 90 and fully upgrading her Forte can already be gathered on live routes, so you can farm ahead and use them as soon as you pull her.
Quick answer: Everything except Bloom of Hearkening and Remnant of the Wheel can be gathered right now. Bank Solidarity’s Loneflame, all four Autopuppet Kernel tiers, and the Rectifier String materials before her banner opens.
Materials you can pre-farm now
Three material groups are already available on current routes. Stack these while you wait, and the only gaps left on launch day will be the two items behind the new area and weekly boss.
Autopuppet Kernels (all four tiers)
LF, MF, HF, and FF Autopuppet Kernel drop from Autopuppet enemies in Mengzhou, including Kernel Puppet, Porcelain Picket, Stone Picket, and Aureate Picket. Hsin needs these for both ascension and Forte, so the demand is heavy: 29 LF, 40 MF, 52 HF, and 61 FF across her full build.
Do not over-synthesize your Kernels. Converting upward consumes three lower-tier pieces for one higher piece, and she still needs large counts of the low tiers, so draining LF and MF into FF creates a shortage you then have to refarm.
Solidarity’s Loneflame
Solidarity’s Loneflame comes from the Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis overworld boss, which is already accessible. You need 46 in total for her ascension ranks. If you built Suisui, check your inventory first, since she ascends on the same drop and part of that count may already be in storage.
Rectifier String materials
Her Forte requires Spliced String, Broken String, Solidified String, and Melodic String. Get these from the Lesson in Sunset Forgery Challenge in Etching Plains or other Rectifier Forgery Challenges; Lahai-Roi Supply Packs and Synthesis are also sources. At 67, Melodic String is the largest single requirement, and it drops only at higher difficulty tiers. Choose the highest clear level your account can manage.
Materials locked until Version 3.7 launch
Two items cannot be touched before the update goes live. Both sit behind new 3.7 content rather than the banner itself.
- Bloom of Hearkening is a local specialty found only in the Simulacrum Nexus of Mengzhou, the new area that opens with Version 3.7. You need 60 for her ascension.
- Remnant of the Wheel, introduced as a skill upgrade material in Version 3.7, comes from that version’s new weekly boss. Hsin needs 26 for her Forte, and the weekly claim limit means collecting them will take multiple reset cycles.

Once those are banked, the only remaining gaps are Bloom of Hearkening and Remnant of the Wheel, which you clear on launch by progressing the Version 3.7 story quest to open the Simulacrum Nexus of Mengzhou and by beating the new weekly boss over its reset cycles.
