Wuthering Waves moves on a three-week clock. Each phase swaps the featured five-star Resonators, and once a limited banner closes, those characters disappear until a rerun. For June 2026, two version cycles overlap: Version 3.3 Phase 2 is the active gacha pool right now, and Version 3.4 brings the game's first crossover collaboration.
Version 3.3 Phase 2 banners (active now)
Version 3.3 is the second anniversary update, split into two roughly three-week phases. Phase 1 (Hiyuki, Mornye, Iuno) closed on May 21. Phase 2 is live and ends on June 11, 2026. Your pity progress carries over automatically when a banner ends, so unspent pulls are never lost when the rotation changes.
| Phase | Characters | Start | End |
|---|---|---|---|
| Version 3.3 Phase 1 | Hiyuki / Mornye / Iuno | April 30, 2026 | May 21, 2026 |
| Version 3.3 Phase 2 | Denia / Chisa / Phrolova | May 21, 2026 | June 11, 2026 |
The three featured five-stars in the current pool cover very different roles:
| Character | Status | Role | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| Denia | New | Fusion Rectifier Main DPS, ranged AoE | Recommended — new Fusion core |
| Chisa | Rerun | Havoc Broadblade Main DPS | Recommended — Havoc team anchor |
| Phrolova | Rerun | Havoc Rectifier Support | Skip — Havoc teams only |

Weapon banners (Absolute Pulsation)
Weapon banners run alongside the character banners and feature the signature weapons of the current limited Resonators. They do not use the 50/50 system. The featured five-star weapon is guaranteed within 80 pulls, which makes the maximum cost easy to budget for.
| Weapon | Type | Character | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| Frostburn | Sword | Hiyuki | Highly recommended if you pulled Hiyuki |
| Starfield Calibrator | Broadblade | Mornye | Skippable if you have solid alternatives |
| Moongazer's Sigil | Gauntlets | Iuno | Skippable unless Iuno is on your main team |
Should you pull on Version 3.3 Phase 2?
Denia is the only brand-new character in this phase, so she is the clear priority for anyone with limited resources. Once her banner ends, the next chance to pull her depends on an unconfirmed rerun date. Chisa and Phrolova are both reruns, which makes them safer to skip if your Astrites are tight.
If you already own a strong Fusion DPS, Chisa becomes more attractive as a core Havoc damage dealer, and she pairs best with Phrolova. Pulling both together only makes sense if you are committing to a dedicated Havoc lineup. For everyone else, Denia alone with her signature weapon Frostburn delivers some of the highest Fusion damage in the current version.

Version 3.4 banners: Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover (confirmed)
Version 3.4 is expected to launch on June 8, 2026, and marks the game's first crossover collaboration, partnering with the Netflix anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The update adds three new five-star Resonators. Collaboration characters typically do not receive reruns, so this may be the only window to obtain Lucy.
| Character | Element | Weapon | Role | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lucy (Lucyna Kushinada) | Spectro | Pistols | Main DPS | Limited banner |
| Rebecca | Electro | Pistols | Burst DPS | Free event reward |
| Lucilla | Glacio | Rectifier | Sub DPS | Limited banner |
The exact phase order and Lucy's final element are still awaiting official confirmation from the Version 3.4 livestream. If you want a collaboration character, start banking Astrites now, since the limited banners will not return on the usual rerun cycle.
Later versions: 3.5 and 3.6 leaks
Everything below comes from community leaks and banner-pattern predictions. None of it is officially confirmed, so treat it strictly as long-term planning reference rather than a fixed schedule.
| Version | Expected release | New character | Element / Weapon | Reliability |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3.5 Phase 1 | July 23, 2026 | Yangyang SP | Havoc / Sword | Leak |
| 3.5 Phase 2 | July 23, 2026 | Suisui | Glacio / TBA | Leak |
| 3.6 Phase 1 | September 2026 | Hsi | Glacio / TBA | Early leak |
| 3.6 Phase 1 | September 2026 | Lulu | TBA | Early leak |
Yangyang SP draws the most attention as the first five-star upgrade of an original four-star character. If you mainly run Havoc teams or want her, consider holding back part of your Version 3.4 resources rather than spending everything on the collaboration banners. The Version 3.6 leaks are too early to plan around. Reruns generally rotate every three to four versions, which gives you a rough sense of how long a wait might be.

How event timers and resets work
A full patch typically lasts about six weeks and bundles four to six limited-time events. Most events run 14 to 21 days. To avoid losing rewards, anchor your week around the server resets rather than logging in whenever it is convenient.
The daily reset hits at 04:00 server time. Waveplate caps at 240, so skipping a day means losing up to 240 Waveplate. The weekly reset lands on Monday at 04:00 server time and refreshes three things: weekly boss clears (three full-reward clears per boss), Battle Pass missions, and Tower of Adversity rotations. Two characters mid-ascension cannot share the same boss week, so lock your weekly boss runs to Monday before doing anything else.

For June, the practical plan is simple. Finish any Denia pulls before June 11, start saving for the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners banners that arrive with Version 3.4, and keep Yangyang SP in mind for late July if you favor Havoc teams. Phase order and Lucy's element will firm up once the Version 3.4 livestream airs.
