Rebecca is a 5-star Electro Pistol Resonator who joined Wuthering Waves in version 3.4 as part of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration. She plays as a sub-DPS and buffer, leaning on Basic Attack and Heavy Attack damage bonuses, a deployable turret, and the Hack – Shifting mechanic she shares with Lucy. Every player can claim her for free during the collab, so the real question is how to gear her so she pulls her weight.
Quick answer: Run the 1-piece Shadow of Shattered Dreams set with Reminiscence: Nightmare Adam Smasher as her main Echo, pair it with 2-piece Void Thunder and a 2-piece ATK set, equip Skull Thrasher, and prioritize Crit, ATK, and around 125% Energy Regen.

Rebecca role and stats overview
Rebecca switches between two stances, Huntress (Hunter) and Guts (Iron Guts). Huntress grants Crit. DMG and agile gunfire, while Guts ignores part of an enemy’s DEF and hits harder at close range. She builds Fervor through Normal Attacks and Resonance Skills, and regenerates Hot Hand over time. At max Hot Hand, casting her Intro or Resonance Skill triggers a state that gives both stance bonuses at once.
Her Resonance Liberation deploys a heavy machine gun in a fixed turret stance, where she gains damage reduction and interruption resistance while firing on locked targets, finishing with a large explosion once her Overload caps. Her Outro summons a turret and hands the next Resonator a damage amp plus stacking Heavy Attack damage support, with Lucy receiving the maximum benefit automatically.

Add to Google Preferences →Best Echo sets and main Echo for Rebecca
Rebecca does not follow a standard 5-piece Sonata. Her strongest layout is a triple Sonata combo built around the collab-exclusive Shadow of Shattered Dreams set, which activates with just one Echo. That single piece is Reminiscence: Nightmare Adam Smasher, which is tailor-made for the two Cyberpunk units.
When Rebecca applies Hack – Shifting to a target while wearing this set, she gains a large Crit Rate boost along with Basic Attack and Heavy Attack damage bonuses for 15 seconds. Fill the remaining four slots with two 2-piece Attribute sets.
| Sonata setup | Effect | Rating |
|---|---|---|
| Shadow of Shattered Dreams (1-pc) + Void Thunder (2-pc) + Reel of Spliced Memories or Lingering Tunes (2-pc) | Hack – Shifting Crit and Attack damage buffs, +10% Electro DMG, +10% ATK | Best |
| Moonlit Clouds (5-pc) | Buffs the next Resonator’s ATK, strong general sub-DPS support | 2nd best |
| Void Thunder (5-pc) | Heavy Electro DMG bonuses for an early-game option | 3rd best |
The Adam Smasher Echo also replaces her Echo Skill with a missile salvo that deals 16 instances of 17.10% Electro DMG and grants a flat 15% Crit Rate when equipped by Lucy or Rebecca. You unlock it by clearing the collab quest and defeating Adam Smasher, the Night City cyborg from Edgerunners and Cyberpunk 2077.
If you run the Moonlit Clouds alternative, switch the main Echo to Impermanence Heron for extra Resonance Energy and a damage buff for the next character. For the early Void Thunder route, use Nightmare: Thundering Mephis instead.
Best Echo stats and substat priority
Build into Rebecca’s own damage by stacking Crit and ATK, then supplement with Electro DMG and Basic Attack DMG Bonus. Aim for roughly 125% Energy Regen so her Resonance Liberation comes up every rotation.
| Echo cost | Main stat |
|---|---|
| 4-cost | Crit. Rate or Crit. DMG |
| 3-cost | Electro DMG Bonus |
| 3-cost | Electro DMG Bonus |
| 1-cost | ATK% |
| 1-cost | ATK% |
For substats, the order is Crit. Rate and Crit. DMG first, then Energy Regen up to your target, followed by Basic Attack DMG Bonus and ATK%. Flat ATK is the lowest priority.

Best weapons for Rebecca
Skull Thrasher is her signature Pistol and the clear top pick. It carries 500 base ATK with a 72% Crit. DMG secondary stat. Its passive grants a 12% ATK boost, a 24% Basic Attack DMG Bonus for 14 seconds when she casts her Intro Skill, an extra 12% Basic Attack DMG Bonus on inflicting Hack – Shifting, and a teamwide ATK buff.
| Weapon | Rarity | Why use it |
|---|---|---|
| Skull Thrasher | 5-star | Signature pick with Basic Attack and teamwide ATK buffs tied to Hack – Shifting |
| Phasic Homogenizer | 5-star | +12% ATK and 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus after a Tune Break skill |
| Spectrum Blaster | 5-star | 36% Basic Attack DMG on Intro Skill, plus a stacking 8% team damage buff on Tune Shifting/Strain |
| Static Mist | 5-star | Energy Regen plus a 10% ATK buff to the incoming Resonator after Outro |
| Relativistic Jet | 4-star | Resonance Skill grants energy and a 20% ATK boost |
| Solar Flame | 4-star | Battle Pass option with a Crit Rate stat and Heavy Attack DMG stacks |
Rebecca skill priority
Her Forte Circuit and Resonance Skill carry the most weight because they drive her resource generation and stance swaps. Level those first, then her Resonance Liberation and Basic Attacks, with the Intro Skill last. Unlock her two inherent skills early as well.
| Skill | Priority |
|---|---|
| Forte Circuit | Highest |
| Resonance Skill | Highest |
| Resonance Liberation | High |
| Basic Attack | High |
| Intro Skill | Low |
Best teams for Rebecca
Rebecca’s value comes from the window she creates after she swaps out. Set up Hack – Shifting, trigger her Outro, then let the turret keep firing while your main DPS spends the buff window. Her kit is most complete next to Lucy, but she also slots into Heavy Attack teams and can even play as a main carry.
| Team | DPS | Sub-DPS | Sustain |
|---|---|---|---|
| Collab core | Lucy | Rebecca | Mornye |
| Heavy Attack | Augusta or Jiyan | Rebecca | Shorekeeper or Verina |
| Rebecca carry | Rebecca | Lynae or Sanhua | Shorekeeper or Verina |
The Lucy pairing is the strongest because both characters interact directly with Hack mechanics, and Lucy can enhance Rebecca’s turret in exchange for a shorter duration but higher damage. Mornye is the most comfortable healer here at S1 since the duo is hungry for field time. If you only have Rebecca for free and skip Lucy, Augusta and Jiyan take advantage of her Outro window without needing strict Hack synergy.

Are Rebecca’s Resonance Chains worth it?
Rebecca delivers a full, working experience at S0, so you do not need her sequences to use her. That said, two nodes stand out. S2 grants a teamwide All-Attribute DMG Bonus and a 15% All DMG Amplification on Hack – Shifting, and it eases her energy needs by letting Hot Hand regenerate faster out of combat. S6 raises her Basic Attack DMG Bonus from every source by 40% and adds a large bonus Electro hit on her enhanced Heavy Attacks.
Because she is a collab unit, reruns are expected to be rare, and the collab banners use a separate currency rather than standard Radiant Tides. If you enjoy her, grab her copies while she is around. For most players, claiming the free S0 version and pairing her with Lucy is already a strong, zero-cost addition to the roster.
