The Wuthering Waves crossover with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners lands inside Version 3.4, titled "The Dream Not Dreamed." It brings two new 5-star Resonators, Lucy and Rebecca, plus a fresh Night City-themed area, an Adam Smasher boss, new weapons, and a stack of limited-time events. The patch is also shorter than usual, so the window to grab everything is tight.
Quick answer: The collaboration goes live on June 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM (UTC+8) with Version 3.4. Rebecca is a free 5-star claimed through the Instant Flashlight event if your Union Level is above 10, while Lucy (Spectro Pistol) is only available on her limited banner.
Release time: June 8, 2026, 11:00 AM (UTC+8)

Wuthering Waves 3.4 collab release date and duration
Version 3.4 unlocks on June 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM (UTC+8), following a short maintenance window. It arrives the day after the Version 3.3 Phase 2 banners for Denia, Phrolova, and Chisa end on June 7.
The update runs for 32 days, which is noticeably shorter than the standard patch cycle. Because the collab characters are tied to this window and collab units have no scheduled reruns, missing them here likely means missing them for good.
Lucy and Rebecca banners
Lucy and Rebecca both debut as 5-star Resonators when the patch goes live. Lucy is a Spectro Pistol unit positioned as a high-mobility main DPS built around her monowire and Spectro Frazzle. Rebecca is an Electro Pistol character built for close-range burst damage.
Their character banners run for the full first stretch of the update, from June 8 to July 9, 2026. Lumi, Youhu, and Taoqi appear as the featured 4-star units. The matching weapon banners carry Spectral Trigger (Lucy's signature Pistol) and Skull Thrasher (Rebecca's signature Pistol).
| Banner | Featured unit | Type | Schedule |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lucy Banner | Lucy (Spectro, Pistol) | Limited character | June 8 – July 9, 2026 |
| Rebecca Banner | Rebecca (Electro, Pistol) | Limited character | June 8 – July 9, 2026 |
| Weapon Banner | Spectral Trigger / Skull Thrasher | Limited weapons | June 8 – July 9, 2026 |
| Lucilla Banner | Lucilla (Glacio, Rectifier) | Limited character | From June 13, 2026 |
| Cartethyia Banner | Cartethyia (rerun) | Limited character | From June 18, 2026 |
Note that the collab banners use their own currency. Character pulls draw on Dreamcatcher Tides, and weapon pulls use Shadowforge Tides, alongside Astrite. Your pull count is tallied toward milestones, with rewards reaching up to 30 Dreamcatcher Tides and two of Lucy's and/or Rebecca's Wavebands.
Lucilla (Glacio Rectifier, with her signature weapon Freeze Frame) joins on June 13, and a Cartethyia rerun with Defier's Thorn follows on June 18. Both stay available through the end of the patch.

How to get Rebecca for free
Rebecca is given out as a free 5-star Resonator through the Instant Flashlight event, confirmed by Kuro Games. You do not need to spend pulls or banner currency to claim her.
Step 1: Reach Union Level 11 or higher before claiming. The event requires a Union Level above 10 to be eligible.
Step 2: Log in during the Version 3.4 collab period and open the Instant Flashlight event page. Claiming runs through Phase 1 of the update.
Step 3: Confirm the claim. Rebecca appears in your Resonator list, which verifies the reward went through. Once the event ends, she is no longer free.

Collab events and rewards
The collab packs several limited events that hand out a free Rebecca, Dreamcatcher Tides, collab avatars, and Astrite. Night City Roaming acts as the umbrella experience covering the Episodic Quest, Collab Resonators Trial, Nightmare Challenge, and exploration.
| Event | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Instant Flashlight | Claim the free 5-star Rebecca (Union Level above 10). |
| Gifts of Dreamchasers | 10-day login event with Astrite and collab rewards. |
| Matrix Reform | Puzzle event built around the new Breach Protocol hacking puzzles. |
| Nightmare Challenge | Combat challenge tied to the collab enemies. |
| Night City Roaming | Main collab loop, including the Nightmare: Adam Smasher fight. |
| Sweetdream Tuning | Bonus rewards for accumulating Covene counts on the collab banners. |
If you want extra Astrite right away, three livestream codes from the Version 3.4 preview broadcast are still live: STRANGEVISITORS, BEYONDTHEDOOR, and SAYCHEESE. Each grants 100 Astrite plus assorted materials, and they expire on May 31, 2026 (8:59 PT), so redeem them in-game before then.

Somnoire: Night City area, story, and boss
The new area is Somnoire: Night City, a neon recreation of Night City pulled from Lucy's memories rather than the real location. The livestream showed off spots like the Cherry Blossom Market, Arasaka Headquarters, and the city streets.
The story plays out through the permanent Episodic Quest At Dream's Edge, where Startorch Academy teams up with the Edgerunners to defend Solaris against Nightmare Tacet Discords. A separate Segue chapter, We Choose the Sky, drops on June 13 and follows Lucilla's past. The collab is framed as an official continuation of Lucy Kushinada's journey after the anime, with David Martinez appearing only as a story cameo and not as a playable unit.
Nightmare: Adam Smasher headlines the new enemies as a limited-time boss you fight through Night City Roaming. He is joined by Nightmare versions of Armed Corpo, Security Corpo, and Spec Ops Corpo. The boss is expected to drop the Nightmare Flashdrive material used to level Lucy and Rebecca, along with the new Echo, Reminiscence - Nightmare: Adam Smasher.
New weapons, Sonata Effect, and the collab song
Spectral Trigger and Skull Thrasher are the two new Pistols, built around the Hack - Shifting mechanic that is unique to the collab characters. A new Sonata Effect, Shadow of Shattered Dreams, is a 1-piece set that increases Basic Attack and Heavy Attack damage when you inflict Hack - Shifting on a target, which makes it tailored to Lucy and Rebecca.

The collab also adds the Edgerunners track "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" to the Heart Radio Channel and Archive of Melodies. You can play it while riding the expedition motorbike. With the patch running just 32 days and the collab units carrying no expected reruns, the cleanest plan is to claim Rebecca early through Instant Flashlight, decide on Lucy before her banner closes on July 9, and clear the events while the Night City content is live.
