The Arc starts sealed with two chains. Each Support Skill cast by any character on the team unleashes one chain. Once both chains are released, the wearer can summon the Black Tome for 20 seconds. The free copy of Youthful Fantasy is tied to a single commission. Reach New Herland District, pick up the listed commission, clear the encounter, and the Arc is delivered as the reward.
You will know the unlock worked when the commission marks itself complete and Youthful Fantasy appears in the Arcs tab. The Arc is also available as a standard S-Rank pull on the Arc Research Banner (Scarborough Fair) and can be purchased from the Mall’s Arc Shop under Arc Selection using Tri-Keys, which is the route to gather duplicates for refinement.

Youthful Fantasy is built for Daffodill. The Break Intensity bonus stacks with her kit’s break-focused damage, and the Black Tome’s bonus Chaos damage on Break hits aligns directly with how she wants to fight. As a free S-Rank, it is currently her strongest accessible Arc without spending pulls.
Other Chaos characters can equip it, but the chain release condition depends on your team casting Support Skills. If your composition does not include reliable Support Skill rotations, the Black Tome window will be slow to come online and you will lose much of the value.

Tips for the Black Tome fight
The Black Tome boss is the only gate between you and the free Arc, but it is also one of the trickier early commission encounters because of its damage-dense chain attacks.
- Parry the Laser Attack string instead of dodging through it. The chain hits stack quickly and dodge i-frames will not cover the full sequence.
- Keep at least one Support Skill in your rotation so you stay used to the chain-release loop the Arc depends on after you equip it.
- Avoid lingering in front of the Tome between phases, since its designate-and-strike cadence punishes static positioning.
Once the boss is down, equip Youthful Fantasy on Daffodill, level it alongside her ascension breakpoints, and the Black Tome summon will start carrying a meaningful share of your team’s damage in any Chaos-oriented composition.
