Yurko Fantomas waits at Deaf Meadow on the northeastern edge of the Lesser Zone and shouts as soon as you are in earshot. He wants Bubble’s body dragged out of the vortex field below him. He also asks you not to go through Bubble’s pockets. That request is the whole job.
Quick answer: Carry Bubble back without taking anything and pick the drinks line to receive 850 Coupons. Loot him out of Yurko’s sight, or kill Yurko, if you also want the Goldfish.

Yurko Fantomas location in the Lesser Zone
Deaf Meadow sits northwest of Zalissya, near the river on the northeastern side of the Lesser Zone. Walk in and Yurko calls you over. He may open fire the moment he sees you. If he stays calm, he asks you to pull his friend out of the anomaly dip and leave the corpse untouched.
Hey, Mister! I’m talking to you. Get over here!
The job starts when you speak to him. Nothing else has to be active in your journal first.

Add to Google Preferences →How to retrieve Bubble’s body
Bubble is slumped against a large bloodstained rock in the middle of the vortex field. His PDA sits with the body. Bolts still work here. Toss them ahead, wait for the anomalies to show themselves, then move through the gaps.

You know it worked when Yurko takes the body, pays you, and stops treating the retrieval as an open request. If he instead shouts about looting, he will not pay.
Yurko Fantomas rewards and outcomes
The payout is 850 Coupons on a clean return. That number can shift with difficulty. Bubble also carries a Goldfish artifact, a PTM, 9X18MM PST, his PDA, and a few consumables. Honesty pays cash. Searching the body pays the artifact.
| What you do | What you keep | What Yurko does |
|---|---|---|
| Return Bubble with nothing taken | 850 Coupons | Pays you and stays friendly |
| Loot in his sight, then return the body | Goldfish, PTM, ammo, PDA, consumables | Refuses the Coupon reward |
| Loot out of his sight, then return the body | Coupons plus Bubble’s loot | Treats the job as finished |
| Get paid, then loot Bubble in front of him | Coupons plus Bubble’s loot | Turns hostile |
| Get paid, then kill Yurko | Coupons plus both inventories | Dies, no faction fallout |
| Kill Yurko on sight or after a fight | Whatever both bodies are carrying | The handshake never completes |
The quiet double-dip is simple. Carry Bubble to cover Yurko cannot see, take the Goldfish and anything else you want, then walk the body in and collect the Coupons. He completes the job as if you never opened the inventory.

Shooting him has no extra cost with bandits or other factions. He is a stranger in the grass. Killing him after the toast is the blunt way to hold both the cash and the artifact.
Missing pickup prompt and hostility bugs
The encounter breaks in a few repeatable ways. None of them lock you out of the loot if you are willing to shoot.
| Problem | What clears it |
|---|---|
| No pick-up prompt on Bubble | Open the inventory, take nothing, close it, then hold interact again |
| Pick-up still hidden after that | Take an item (some players only get carry after a loot), then pick the body up |
| Yurko attacks the instant he sees you | Kill him and loot both bodies. The Goldfish is still on Bubble |
| He yells that you are looting when you only picked the body up | He will not pay. Take the artifact from Bubble and, if you want his gear, kill him |
| No Coupons on Yurko and no artifact on Bubble | The encounter is empty. Leave or reload the area |
Taking nothing from the inventory is the safer first try, because a visible loot can turn him hostile. If he is already shooting, that caution no longer matters.
Yurko Fantomas at the Slag Heap
Finish the job without killing him and he can show up later at the Slag Heap, standing near Misha and Grisha. The talk is brief. He offered help after the toast at Deaf Meadow, and that later line is the whole follow-through.
There is no second payday and no faction ledger attached to this meeting. Keep him alive for the Slag Heap cameo, or take the Goldfish and his pockets at Deaf Meadow. Both endings stop at the same place.
