007 First Light: Knightfall walkthrough with safe code and Perch escape

Knightfall is Chapter 12 of 007 First Light, and it drops Bond and John Greenway inside Webb Industries to dig out THEIA's hidden secret tied to past missions, including London 2014. The whole mission is a layered infiltration. You climb to the Perch, slip past locked doors and a motion-sensor lockdown, reach the Penthouse, open Webb's safe, record an incriminating conversation, then escape before a timer runs out.

Reach the Perch in Webb Industries

After entering Webb Industries with Greenway and speaking to Finch, your objective is to reach the Perch. The elevators are dead, so the staircase is the only route, but it sits far across the lobby, and you can't walk straight to it.

Step 1: Head down the corridor to trigger a conversation between Bond and Greenway. In the lobby, walk up to the large art installation, which doubles as a ladder. Ask Greenway for a boost and climb over it.

Step 2: Move forward and grab the upper-floor railing, then shift to the right corner. Hang from the railing and edge right along the thin wall ledges until you reach the end, then pull yourself up into the upper lobby.

Step 3: Look ahead for a yellow cloth next to some wiring and drop down from that spot. This lands you near the staircase area where the next objective begins.

Open a path for Greenway

Several doors here only open from the inside, so you have to clear them for Greenway using gadgets and a cleaning robot.

Step 1: Look left to spot a door behind a glass wall and sabotage it with your gadget. Follow the left path, take another left, and you'll find the sabotaged door opposite R. Finch's office.

Step 2: Go inside and use the Q Lens to locate a Cleaning Robot. Call it over. It passes through the locked door and lets Greenway join you.

Step 3: Exit and take the stairs up to the workspace section.

Tip: The door sensors sit inside the conference rooms, and you must have a clear line of sight to the sensor before you can hack it. If a hack won't register, reposition until the blinds are up and the sensor is visible, then call the cleaning robot.

Find a way into the East Wing

Most doors on this floor are locked, so you'll force your own route toward the East Wing.

Step 1: Go to the restroom at the end of the hallway. Inside, check the wall to the left of the entrance door for a wooden panel that breaks when you kick it. Kick it down and move into the next room.

Step 2: A security guard will spot you and approach. Take him down, then use the Door Controller to sabotage the main door on your left so Greenway can follow.

Step 3: Head to the coffee area in the corner, climb over the railing, and use the ledge to reach a new section. Climb across the rectangular structure to enter Babbage Level 2 and take down the guard there.

Step 4: Open the door and stay crouched, since three guards are talking inside. Look up and disrupt the air conditioner with the Q-Lens to flood the room with smoke. The guards approach one at a time, letting you take them out quietly. Repeat the same air conditioner trick in the attached room to clear the rest.

Step 5: Move through the passage and open the glass door, then turn left and sabotage another locked door with the Q Lens so Greenway can enter. The gate opposite leads to the East Wing, where you'll hit a yellow motion-based lockdown system.

Bypass the sensors

The lockdown blocks the hallway, but a vent route lets you trip the right doors from the offices behind it.

Step 1: Beside C. Saunders's office, find the large wrapped piece of furniture and move it with Greenway's help to reveal a small vent. The vent splits into two paths.

Step 2: Take the left path to reach Isola Vale's office. Exit, go right, and sabotage the door there.

Step 3: Return to the vent and take the straight path into Damien Webb's office. Exit through the main gate, turn left, and enter de Broglie's office. Call a cleaning robot here to finish the "Bypass the Sensors" objective.

Step 4: Leave the area and turn off the Sensor Security console on your left so Greenway can cross. Take the nearby stairs up to the office that holds Perch Access, which is locked like the rest.

Get to the Penthouse and unlock the door from the other side

Following Greenway down the hallway, you'll find a guard already dead on your left, a sign that other intruders are inside. He has no key card, so the locked gate has to be opened from the far side.

Step 1: In the hallway, spot the small opening above the glass wall. With Greenway's boost, climb onto the bookshelf and vault through the opening, dropping onto a balcony where the Penthouse comes into view.

Step 2: From the balcony's left edge, drop to the ledge below, then jump up to grab another ledge. Move right until you reach another office's balcony. Inside, grab the key card next to a second guard's body.

Step 3: From the lobby, go straight and take the right path into a dark room to trigger a cutscene of Isola tampering with a circuit board before agreeing to help you reach the Perch.

Step 4: After the cutscene, kick open the door on your right, kick the next door inside, then pull the lever. Leave and use the staircase switch in the center to activate it, then climb to the Penthouse.

Open Webb's safe (code 1493 / BASILISK)

Inside the Penthouse, you can grab a Legacy Item near the bar before dealing with the safe at the end of the office.

The safe uses a four-digit code, and Isola's note points you to 1493. If you're chasing the Crackerjack challenge, enter 1493E to open it on the first attempt. After it opens, Isola asks for an eight-letter word or number sequence. Two files sit inside, and one carries the command code BASILISK.

Close your tracks and start the four-minute escape

Once you have the code, the mission shifts into a stealth-then-timer sequence.

Step 1: Follow the objective marker to the remote that hides the safe behind a large painting. Sir Nicholas and Damien then enter the office, so stay hidden. Greenway tells you to creep close while crouched and record their conversation without being seen.

Step 2: When they leave, a four-minute escape timer starts. Isola points to a hidden switch, which is actually the cat sculpture. Move it to open a secret door into the security office, then take the vent through to an office.

Step 3: Exit the gate, take down the guard, and drop into the lobby toward Perch Access. It's locked, so Isola directs you to an elevator at the end of the hallway. Enter the Maintenance room and open the vent on top to crawl through.

Step 4: Keep moving until you reach the wooden wall beside I. Megumi's office. Break it, clear the guards in the next hallway, and reach the Perch Access elevator. The elevator jolts and stops mid-ride, so force the doors open and escape through them.

During the run to the Perch, the All the Time in the World challenge asks you to take out every guard before the timer ends. There are 11 enemies across the route, so don't dawdle if you want it.

Knightfall ends the moment you force the stuck elevator doors and escape the Perch, with the BASILISK code and the recorded conversation in hand. If you're aiming for the white tux, the cleanest approach is one run for the story beats and safe code, then targeted replays of the executive floor and data center to pick off the stealth and combat challenges separately.
