The aliens are back in 99 Nights in the Forest, and the Alien’s Revenge update turns their return into a full raid. The event scatters Alien Outposts across the map, drops a repairable Command Ship next to your camp, and ends with a Mothership clear that pays out alien-tech weapons, badges, and a limited-time pet skin. Here is exactly how it starts, what you need to collect, and how to know it is done.
Quick answer: Survive to Night 3 to trigger the UFO crash, collect 5 Alien Batteries from Alien Sites, Outposts, Ponds, or Drops, and deposit them in the Command Ship’s hood. Ride the green beam up, use Alien Commander and Alien Scout corpses to open the three side-room doors, defeat the final wave to unlock the reward chest, then walk through the “Teleport to Earth” door to complete the event.
How the Alien’s Revenge event triggers on Night 3
The event starts on its own once you reach Night 3, the same point in the run where the original Aliens event kicked off. A cutscene plays showing several UFOs crashing near the campfire. When it ends, a wrecked Command Ship sits in the debris, and your first job is to get it working again.

To repair the ship you need 5 Alien Batteries. These are green cylindrical items found out in the forest. If you are carrying a map item, Alien Outposts appear as marked locations, so it is worth planning a route before you head out at night.

There are four ways to pick up batteries, and they vary a lot in risk. If you want the fastest, safest run, prioritise Alien Sites and fish any green ponds you pass. The two combat options are more common across the map, so you will usually mix sources together.

| Source | How it works | Risk |
|---|---|---|
| Alien Sites | An alien chest and battery sit under the structure with no guards. Walk up and grab both. | None |
| Alien Outposts | A tall tower guarded by multiple alien mobs. Clear the guards, then climb to the top for the battery and chest. | High |
| Alien Ponds | Green mutated ponds. Fishing in them has a chance to pull a battery directly. | Low |
| Alien Drops | Blue launch pads. Bring 3 alien corpses to the pad; once all three are submitted, a green light replaces them with a chest and battery. | Medium |
Repair and board the Command Ship

Clear the Mothership using alien corpses as keycards
Inside, the ship is full of alien NPCs. The two most common are Alien Engineers (green, melee) and Alien Troopers (purple, ranged). Fight through them as you move, but the enemies you actually need to track are different.
Each door deeper into the ship has a face-scanning lock that only opens with a specific corpse. Carry the matching body to the matching door to get through.
| Enemy | Appearance | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Alien Commander | Orange, ranged damage | Corpse opens a scanner door |
| Alien Scout | Small blue, melee damage | Corpse opens a scanner door |
Repeat this until you have entered all three side rooms. After that, you reach the main room on the next floor, where roughly 5 more aliens spawn. Defeating that wave unlocks the large reward chest.
Loot the chest and complete the event
The central chest drops high-tier alien gear, including the Alien Shotgun, the Dissolve Ray, and various blueprints for crafting alien-tech equipment. Grab everything before you leave.

Once the chest is looted, head to the green door labeled “Teleport to Earth” in the same room. Walking through it ends the event and drops you safely back into the forest. That return trip is your confirmation the raid is finished, so do not leave loot behind before you step through.
Every Alien’s Revenge badge and reward
Three badges are tied to the raid, each marking a different milestone. Clearing all three pays out Diamonds plus the limited-time Alien Wolf Skin, which is only available while the event is live.

| Badge | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Engineering | Repair the Alien Ship by finding 5 Batteries |
| Mutiny | Defeat the Alien Mothership |
| Xenotech | Enter all the side rooms in the Command Ship in one run |
Alien Scientist class: Cost and perks
The update also adds the Alien Scientist, a new 5-star class you buy from the Classes shop for 600 Diamonds. You do not need it to run the event; any class can repair the ship, clear the Mothership, and earn the badges. It simply gives you a strong alien loadout from the first night.

Equipping it starts each run with 1x Alien Shotgun, 1x Dissolve Ray, and 1x Raygun. Its perk tree is built around dissolving low-HP enemies into Essence, which feeds your alien energy and movement.
| Level | Perks |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | Enemies under 10% HP dissolve into Essence on kill; Essence increases Alien Energy regen speed; +4 Sack Space |
| Level 2 | Dissolving threshold raised to 15%; Meat? Sandwiches have a chance to drop on dissolve |
| Level 3 | Essence also grants sprint speed |
That is the whole loop. Reach Night 3, repair the ship with five batteries, fight up through the Mothership with the right corpses, and teleport home with your loot. Do all three milestones in a single run and you walk away with the Diamonds and the Alien Wolf Skin on top of the gear.
