Find the Turtles hides 320 collectible turtles across 17 themed zones, and completing the set unlocks the game’s win badge. Most turtles are simply spotted and touched, but a handful sit behind puzzles, tools, or keypad codes that stop players from reaching 320/320. The fastest path is to clear each zone fully before teleporting to the next, then return only for the gated turtles.
Quick answer: Collect every turtle in all 17 zones (Beach through Castle), solve the Cave, Desert, Arctic, and Backrooms puzzles, pick up the Pickaxe, Snow Shovel, Hammer, Crowbar, and Key when prompted, and enter code 416 in the Arctic and 165 in the Backrooms. When your Turtle Index reads 320/320, the “You won!” badge is awarded.

Use the Turtle Index to track missing turtles
After grabbing your first turtle on the Beach, open the Turtle Index. It lists every turtle you still need and shows a running count and percentage, such as 39/320 (13%). Each missing entry can be clicked for a hint, which points you toward the right area when a turtle is well hidden. Treat the Index as your checklist and clear zones in order, since new zones open by teleport once you start moving through the map.
Turtles come in five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Rarity does not change how you collect a turtle, only how hidden or gated it tends to be. Legendary turtles such as the Kite Turtle, Crystal Turtle, and Cookie Turtle are usually placed in harder-to-reach spots rather than behind minigames.

| Cave | Gold Turtle, Pickaxe Turtle |
| Desert | Technician Turtle |
| Underwater | None |
| Candyland | None |

| Haunted | None |
| Barn | None |
| Toy | None |
| City | None |
| Jungle | None |
| Volcano | None |

Tools you must pick up to progress
Several turtles are locked behind obstacles that only open once you carry the right tool. Grab each one when the on-screen prompt appears, then use it on the matching obstacle.
| Tool | What it unlocks |
|---|---|
| Pickaxe | Mine through rock in the Cave to reach the Pickaxe Turtle |
| Snow Shovel | Clear snow in the Arctic to reveal the Snowglobe Turtle |
| Hammer | Smash the Arctic door to free the Turtle Shell |
| Crowbar | Pry open blocked areas during exploration |
| Key | Unlock a locked door when prompted |
With the Pickaxe equipped, click the pickaxe to build progress until you see “Successfully mined through..” The Snow Shovel, Hammer, Crowbar, and Key work the same way, each producing a confirmation like “Smashed it open!” or “Door unlocked!” when the obstacle clears.

Puzzle-gated turtles and how to solve them
These turtles need a completed minigame or a correct code. Everything else in the game is found by exploring, so clearing these is usually what stands between a near-complete Index and the full 320.
Gold Turtle (Cave)
Complete the Simon-says color pattern puzzle in the Cave. Watch the sequence, then repeat it in the same order to unlock the Gold Turtle.
Pickaxe Turtle (Cave)
Pick up the Pickaxe, then click it repeatedly to mine through the blocked rock. The Pickaxe Turtle appears once you break through.
Technician Turtle (Desert)
Fix the generator using the timing minigame in the Desert. Land the timing prompt to repair it and claim the Technician Turtle.
Twister Turtle (Arctic)
Enter code 416 on the Arctic keypad to open the door and reach the Twister Turtle.
Prisoner Turtle (Backrooms)
Complete the lockpicking minigame in the Backrooms to free the Prisoner Turtle.
Totem Turtle (Backrooms)
Find all three hidden totems in the Backrooms. The counter tracks your progress from “Found 1/3 totems” up to “Found all 3 totems! Bring them to the shrine.” Deliver them to the shrine and the door opens, giving you the Totem Turtle.
Hieroglyphic Turtle (Backrooms)
Enter code 165 on the Backrooms keypad to open the final door and collect the Hieroglyphic Turtle.
Keypad codes reference
| Zone | Code | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Arctic | 416 | Twister Turtle |
| Backrooms | 165 | Hieroglyphic Turtle |

How to confirm you found all 320
Open the Turtle Index and check the counter. When it reads 320/320 (100%), every turtle is collected and the game registers a completed run. Finishing the set grants the “You won!” badge, which confirms you found all of the current turtles. Because this badge is rare, seeing it appear is the clearest sign your collection is complete.
If your Index stops short of 320, the missing entries are almost always the gated turtles. Re-check the Cave Simon-says puzzle, the Desert generator, the Arctic keypad and snow, the Backrooms totems, and both keypad codes, since those are the steps players most often skip. You can start a game any time from the official Find the Turtles experience page on Roblox.
New turtles are added over time, so the total can grow beyond 320 in future updates. When that happens, the Index count changes and the win badge tracks whatever the current total is, meaning a fresh sweep of any new zone is all that stands between you and completion again.
