Fortnite: How to Unlock The Prophecy’s Mission Loading Screen (Geno’s Plan Quests)

Finish both "A Cure for Jones" and "Geno's Plan" story quests before the deadline to claim the free reward.

Finish both “A Cure for Jones” and “Geno’s Plan” story quests before the deadline to claim the free reward.

The Prophecy’s Mission is a free loading screen tied to the closing story arc of Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 3. You earn it by clearing two connected questlines, “A Cure for Jones” and “Geno’s Plan,” which run out of Shaken Sanctuary and a hidden lair beneath it. The whole run takes about two matches and works in Zero Build Solo.

Quick answer: Complete all four stages of “A Cure for Jones” and then all four stages of “Geno’s Plan.” When the final stage of “Geno’s Plan” registers, The Prophecy’s Mission unlocks automatically and can be equipped from the Locker.

Requirements and deadline

Both questlines are time-limited. They sit under the “Secret of the Sprites” set and are available through August 19, 2026, which is when the season closes and the next update arrives under the working name Override. Once that window passes, the quests stop being redeemable, so finish them beforehand.

A Cure for Jones: all four stages

Drop near Shaken Sanctuary and search a Sprite Chest to collect Sprite data. Any Sprite Chest in the area counts toward this first objective.

Move inside Shaken Sanctuary and deal 200 damage to opponents to give Slone some breathing room. Landing in this contested zone makes finding targets faster.
Collect three different types of Sprites, such as Seven Sprite, Aura Sprite, and Gummy Sprite. If you already carry Sprites, you can drop them and pick them back up so they register as separate types toward the count.
Head to Jones’s medical tank on the lower level of the Shaken Sanctuary facility and interact with it. This closes out the questline and opens the path to Geno’s Plan.

Geno’s Plan: all four stages

Enter Geno’s hidden lair, which sits directly beneath Shaken Sanctuary. Reach it through a broken hole in the floor of the main facility.

Travel to WonkeeLand (or Chopped Shop) and destroy 25 environmental objects to make some noise. Furniture, crates, and other breakables all count toward the total.
Go to Sinister Strip and hack two of Geno’s listening devices. One is inside the main building under the stairs, and the other is on the exterior wall of the neighboring building. This stage is easiest to start in a fresh match by landing directly at Sinister Strip.
Return to Geno’s hidden lair in Shaken Sanctuary and talk to The Order to review the audio logs. Finishing this conversation completes the questline.

How to confirm the reward and equip it

The Prophecy’s Mission is granted the moment the final stage of Geno’s Plan clears. Return to the lobby, open the Locker, and look under loading screens to find and equip it. The quest tracker for both lines will also show as complete once the reward is issued.

Note: The audio logs you unlock along the way reveal that Geno is Doctor Slone’s father, with voice lines from Slone, AMIE, Geno, and The Order playing in full once the story is done.

Common reasons the quest does not complete

  • Skipping “A Cure for Jones” first. Geno’s Plan opens through the Jones storyline, so both must be finished for the reward.
  • Falling short on stage counts, such as dealing less than 200 damage or breaking fewer than 25 objects.
  • Hacking only one listening device at Sinister Strip instead of both.
  • Talking to The Order before the earlier Geno stages are marked complete.

If you plan the run across two matches, use the first to clear the Jones stages plus Geno’s early objectives at Shaken Sanctuary and WonkeeLand, then use a second match to land at Sinister Strip for the devices before returning to the lair. With both questlines finished before August 19, 2026, The Prophecy’s Mission is yours to keep.
