Servant of the Lake: How to Unlock All 49 Achievements

Every missable action, the story unlocks, and the full post-game route to find Kate's brother.

Every missable action, the story unlocks, and the full post-game route to find Kate’s brother.

Servant of the Lake hands out 49 achievements across its three-day stay at the Vanderboom estate. Twenty-four of them come from simply finishing each chapter, so they cannot be missed. The other 25 are tied to small, optional interactions you have to trigger yourself, and most of them vanish the moment a scene moves on.

Quick answer: Play through Day 1 to Day 3 once to bank the 24 story achievements, then use the Notebook’s chapter replay after the ending to revisit each task and grab the 25 optional ones. The Notebook flags which achievements you are still missing, so you never have to restart the whole game.

How the 49 achievements break down

There is one story achievement for every task across the three days, and those unlock automatically as you complete each chapter. The optional achievements sit beside or inside those same tasks. Because a lot of them require you to act before a required step, the cleanest approach is to finish the story first, then let the Notebook guide you back to the exact task that owns each missing star.

After the ending, Kate asks you to use the Notebook to revisit your memories. That replay menu lets you select any single task again and search it for the interaction you missed, instead of replaying entire days.

Day 1 optional achievements

Several Day 1 unlocks depend on doing something out of order, especially the cat and the goat. Feed the cat its milk before you ever pick up the dead mouse, or the interaction closes off.

Petting the HorseThe ArrivalClick the horse’s head a few times near the eye until it dips down.
Feeding the CatPreparing BreakfastAfter taking the milk from the crate, use it on the cat on the armchair, before you pick up the dead mouse.
Exercising with Mr. AldousWaking Up AldousDuring the exercise puzzle, click Aldous in random ways until he gets stuck, then click again to unstick him. This may only work once.
Small RepairsPreparing the ReceptionWith the duster, dust the picture frame in the Servant’s Room until it falls and breaks, then piece it back together.
Ruining the BouquetWelcoming the GuestsFeed the finished bouquet to the goat, then hand it to Alexandra. Do this before milking the goat, or it leaves.
Serving Matcha LatteServing TeaGet the tea leaves from the lockbox, feed tea to the cat, make it throw up, take the green substance from the crate, and add it to Alexandra’s tea.
Soothing the BabyOpening the ReunionRetrieve the wine (champagne) from the box and use it on baby James.
Checking for IntrudersThe Night WatchCheck the garden door on each patrol until you see a masked figure.
Chase away the CrowSearching the AtticClick the window to spot the black bird, then scare it away.

Day 2 optional achievements

Two of these are easy to lose. Roast the coffee beans on the stove before grinding them, and during the hunt do not stop shooting once you have enough meat.

AchievementChapterHow to trigger
Serving Mr. Aldous his Favorite CoffeePreparing CoffeeBefore grinding, place the coffee beans on top of the stove beside the teapot to roast them, then finish the coffee and give it to Aldous.
Tickling Mr. WilliamWaking up WilliamWith the feather, tickle William on his nipples and nose until it unlocks.
Deep CleaningCleaning the FloorsWhile scrubbing the blood in the Servant’s Room, clean the stick-figure drawing in the top left before releasing the brush.
A Perfect HuntGoing HuntingShoot every target without wasting a bullet: pheasant, pigeon, the shadow to flush the boar, the boar, William (twice), the rock to flush the rabbit, the rabbit, and the deer.
Close InspectionsDoing the WashingWhen collecting clothing upstairs, peek through the bathroom keyhole to see the masked figure.
Cleaning the WindowsHelping with BathingWith Alexandra in the bath, click each fogged window pane to wipe away the steam.
Garbage DisposalNight Time DutiesGo upstairs to the balcony and throw the body parts over the railing.
Pest ControlInspecting the CellarUse the magnet on the mousehole for a key, click the hole to draw out the mouse, then hit it with the hammer.

For A Perfect Hunt, if you run low on bullets you can quit out of the sequence, grab more from the stump, and go back in. Missing even one shot stops the achievement from triggering.

Day 3 optional achievements

The final day holds the rarest interactions, including two hidden object placements. Checking the Furniture only works while the cat is still on the table, so do not click the cat away first.

AchievementChapterHow to trigger
Petting the CatLooking for the CatBack in the Servant’s Room, click the cat on Kate’s lap repeatedly until it jumps off, before clicking Kate.
Animal testingAssisting in AlchemyPour the elixir into the parrot’s water bowl so it drinks.
Checking the FurnitureUnforeseen MaintenanceClick the table leg next to the cat to reveal a note. Do this while the cat is still there, not after it leaves.
Seasoning the SoupPreparing DinnerTake the knife from the maid, kill the fly while making the cake, pick it up, and add it to the soup before the final ingredient.
Finishing TouchDressing Up for DinnerOn the house painting, click the third window on the second row from the bottom, then the fish on the far right. Take the fish pin from William’s painting, then pin it on his jacket before giving him his tie.
Safety testServing DinnerAt the start, click the rope in the top left of the screen a few times.
First AidThe DepartureWith the fork from Aldous, lift his trouser leg and use the fork twice on each wound to remove the bullets, then unequip the fork and click each wound to seal it.

You’ve Found Him: the post-game route to Kate’s brother

The 49th achievement is a secret unlock that only opens after you beat the game. Continue past the ending and you receive a letter from Kate that starts a clue chain running back through memories from all three days. Each step points to a specific chapter you replay from the Notebook.

Read Kate’s first letter. It says, “The crow awakens at five past four.” Replay Waking Up Aldous on Day 1 and set the clock to 4:05 to receive a note about a severed hand in Alexandra’s suitcase.
Replay Helping with Bathing on Day 2. At the tile wall, press Alexandra, then the Bathtub, the Suitcase, and finally the Hand. Read the note behind the loose tile, which shows a maze with LEFT and RIGHT symbols.
The maze solution is RRRLRLRRL. Replay Assisting in Alchemy on Day 3 and enter that sequence into the left/right box to get the next letter.
Replay Searching the Attic on Day 1 and open the constellation box. Build three constellations from the images on the paper: the structures and windows first, then the two moons, then the water shapes. This reveals a note about an old ruin, with a drawing that matches the wine bottle locks.
Replay Dressing Up for Dinner on Day 3 and go to the cellar. Match the wine bottle box to that drawing to earn a letter mentioning bronze stairs, a silver snake, and gold.
Still in the cellar, solve the bottles. The bronze bottle goes on the spiral, the silver bottle on the snake shape, and the gold bottle on the triangle with a horizontal line through it (the mark on James’ forehead). Climb through the open barrel into a strange room.
Shake the red fabric until a note drops out. The locked box in this room takes a four-digit code. Work it out from the clues to get 6294, enter it, and take the telescope inside.
Go to the window in this room and use the telescope to look at the distant building, then look inside its window. This reveals what happened to Kate’s brother and unlocks You’ve Found Him.

The four digits come from earlier memories. The X’s on the room’s note cross off all but one number from the Helping with Bathing letter, leaving 6. The window shape matches a pane worth 2 on the house painting in Preparing Coffee. The eyeball clue on the hunting table in Going Hunting gives 9, and the symbol in Assisting in Alchemy gives 4.

Confirming a full clear

The Notebook lists every achievement you are still missing and links each one to its Day and task, so it doubles as your cleanup checklist. Once every optional interaction is done through chapter replay, the game confirms your progress with an “all additional tasks completed” message. When both the 24 story achievements and the 25 optional ones are ticked off, you have all 49.

If an achievement refuses to pop, it is almost always because an interaction happened out of order. The cat, the goat, the coffee beans, and the table leg all have to be handled before their required step advances the scene. Replaying that single task from the Notebook resets the state and gives you a clean attempt.
