Scout’s Tenacity is one of the most reliable safety tools in PEAK. It grants a short window of damage immunity that shrugs off nearly every hazard on the mountain, from fall damage to the Drowsy fog in Gloom, and it can be reused far more often than the other invincibility items in the game.
Quick answer: Find a Scout Statue marked by a blue beam of light in any biome from Shore to Gloom, pick up the amulet, then hold Left-Click to give yourself 10 seconds of invincibility (or Right-Click to use it on a teammate).
Where to find Scout’s Tenacity
Scout’s Tenacity sits on top of a stone Scout Statue. Each biome contains one of these statues, and they are easy to spot because a blue beam of light shines straight up from above them. You can see that light from a distance, so aim your climb toward it.
These statues appear across the biomes running from Shore up to Gloom. There is only one amulet per biome, and the statues spawn in fresh locations at the daily reset, so the exact spot will not match from one day to the next.

The timing matters most when you are mid-fall. Trigger it before you hit the ground and you take no fall damage at all. It also clears out negative effects such as Spores, Drowsy, Injury, Cold, and Heat while the shield is active.
Note: Scout’s Tenacity does not touch Hunger or Curse. Those two effects stay in place no matter how many times you use it.
The Petrify cost and how to reduce it
Using Scout’s Tenacity is not free. Each activation applies 10 to 30 Petrify to your Bonus Stamina Bar, and the amount scales with how many negative status effects it has to clear at once. Curing several ailments in one use costs more than cleansing a single one.
That Petrify is what keeps the amulet from being infinite in practice. To keep using it through a run, sit at a Campfire, which reduces some of the Petrify buildup so the amulet is ready for the next dangerous stretch.
How to confirm the immunity is active
You know the effect has triggered when a golden border wraps around your stamina bar. That border is the signal that damage is being blocked. When it fades, the 10-second window is over and you are vulnerable again.
Scout’s Tenacity vs. the other invincibility items
Three items in PEAK can make you temporarily immune to damage. Scout’s Tenacity is the standout because it can be reused across a run, while the others trade convenience for weight or a one-time find.
| Item | How to get | How it works |
|---|---|---|
Scout’s Tenacity | On Scout Statues, marked by blue lights in each biome from Shore to Gloom. | Clears all negative effects except Hunger and Curse. Grants 10 seconds of immunity for 10–30 Petrify. |
Ancient Idol | Found only in The Tomb, hidden inside the MESA biome. | Immunity lasts as long as you hold it. Weight of 40. |
Fortified Milk | Found in Luggage. | Removes 50 Heat and 5 Hunger. 15 seconds of immunity, or 25 seconds if cooked. |
Scout’s Tenacity is one of four Scout Amulets in the game, alongside Scout’s Ambition, Scout’s Initiative, and Scout’s Generosity. Collecting all four across a full run to the Peak feeds into the Rule Zero Badge and its secret ending, so hold onto them if you are chasing that finale rather than spending them on the climb.
