Full movesets, spin odds, and tier placement for the two new Dio- and Pucci-inspired abilities added on August 15, 2026.

The Over Heaven Update for Anime Apocalypse added two new abilities pulled straight from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Heavenly Vampire draws on Heaven Ascension Dio and leans on time manipulation, while Moon Priest borrows from Enrico Pucci and centers on gravity control. Both dropped on August 15, 2026, alongside a new world boss mode, titles, cosmetics, and pets.

Quick answer: Roll Heavenly Vampire and Moon Priest from the Ability Gacha (press E) using Normal or Lucky Spins. You know it worked when the ability appears in your ability menu with the matching title unlocked.

Heavenly Vampire moveset (Dio-inspired)

Heavenly Vampire is built around burst damage and time-stop visuals. Its basic attacks carry yellow clock effects, and its four skill slots escalate into a cinematic finisher. The moveset is fast and heavily animated, which is why it lands near the top of the current damage rankings.

ZGod-like KicksFlurry of kicks inside a clock graphic
XHeaven CallsMassive yellow energy beam
CCircling FistsRapid spin attack
VUltimateCinematic time-stop and portal explosion

Moon Priest moveset (Pucci-inspired)

Moon Priest is a gravity-focused kit. Its skills throw out purple gravity fields and projectiles before finishing with a Stand-based ultimate. It hits hard in damage-oriented content but does less to keep you alive during long survival runs.

Where each ability lands in the tier list

Both abilities are strong for damage and raid play. The difference shows up in survival modes, where wave-clearing and sustain matter more than raw burst.

Heavenly VampireSA
Moon PriestSC

Between the two, Heavenly Vampire is the more consistent pick because it holds up better across both modes. Moon Priest still earns its S rank for damage output, but its lower survival placement means it is better suited to shorter, damage-heavy fights than to endless waves.

How to get Heavenly Vampire and Moon Priest

Both abilities are rolled from the Ability Gacha. There is no guaranteed unlock outside of spinning, so your odds depend on whether you use Normal Spins or Lucky Spins.

Press E in-game to open the Ability Gacha menu.
Choose Normal Spins or Lucky Spins. Lucky Spins raise your chance at higher rarities and are dropped by zombies or earned from codes, while Normal Spins use regular in-game currency.
Keep spinning to trigger the pity system. Rolling 50 times guarantees a Legendary, and rolling 100 times guarantees a Mythic.

You know the roll succeeded when the ability shows up in your ability list and its matching title unlocks. Heavenly Vampire grants “Reached the Heavens,” and Moon Priest grants “Gravity Manipulator.”

Everything else in the Over Heaven Update

The two abilities headline the patch, but the update also added a new World Boss game mode called Heavenly Ascension, plus fresh cosmetics and pets. The pets tie directly into the new content and both rank at the top of the current pet list.

TypeAdditions
Game modeWorld Boss (Heavenly Ascension)
TitlesReached the Heavens, Gravity Manipulator
CosmeticsPriest Jacket, Menacing Letters, Heavenly Necklace
PetsThe Fool, Ice Bird

If you want the strongest all-round pick from this update, Heavenly Vampire is the safer investment thanks to its higher survival rating and its time-stop finisher. Moon Priest remains a top damage option, so it fits well as a second ability for raids and boss fights once you have secured it from the gacha.
