The Empty Cradle holds one of the easiest Dorsalite pickups in Mortal Shell 2. All three pieces are gathered in a single circular room that opens right off the Empty Cradle beacon, deep inside the Unfound Path, the game’s final dungeon. There is no puzzle, no miniboss, and no key involved. You walk a short loop and interact with three stone thrones.
Quick answer: Fast travel to the Empty Cradle beacon, step into the round room next to it, and loot the three throne-like stone pillars spaced around the edge. Each one gives one Dorsalite, for a total of three.

How to reach the Empty Cradle beacon
The Empty Cradle is a beacon inside the Unfound Path, which becomes accessible late in the campaign after you have collected enough Ova. The Unfound Path unlocks once you approach the NPC in the Gloom Siphon room at Marrow Keep, which happens after you have gathered more than 168 Ova from cleansing the six Corrupted Gates.
Once you have cleansed the Empty Cradle beacon, the fastest way back is Mether’s Breath, the fast travel system. Open the fast travel menu at any beacon and select Empty Cradle under the Unfound Path grouping. If you have not reached this beacon yet, you need to progress through the Unfound Path until it appears on the map.

The room is a full circle, so the order does not matter. This loop keeps it quick.

Once you have looted the last pillar, return to the beacon to rest, bank your progress, or fast travel back to Marrow Keep.
How to confirm you got all three
Each successful pickup shows a Dorsalite +1 prompt on screen. After three prompts, every throne in the room is empty and no longer interactive. If a pillar still offers an interaction, you missed one, so walk the full circle again and check the throne you skipped.
What Dorsalite is used for
Dorsalite is a high-tier upgrade material used at the Tarforge in Marrow Keep to push weapons and sidearms toward their upper levels. Because these three pieces sit so close to a fast travel point, the Empty Cradle is a convenient stop when you are stocking up for late-game gear upgrades before the final boss.
Note: none of the Unfound Path pickups are missable. You can freely explore the final area and return for anything you skipped after beating the final boss, since the game drops you back into your save rather than rolling straight into credits.
