The Build-A-Wrixel track hides one of the season’s blocky character styles inside the Mega Maze, and grabbing it comes down to a single scavenger hunt. You need to find four Skull Ranger parts spread across the maze in one match, and each pickup nudges the quest counter forward until the style is yours.
Quick answer: Land at Mega Maze and collect all four Skull Ranger parts (Accessory, Hat, Torso, and Legs). Once the counter hits 4/4, the “Skull Ranger” style unlocks for the Wrixel outfit.

What you need before starting
This is a Build-A-Wrixel quest, so it only appears once you own the Wrixel outfit. Wrixel is an Epic outfit from Page 1 of its set in the Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass, and the set unlocks after you reach Level 10. The Skull Ranger style is one of the extra looks you earn through in-game tasks rather than the pass itself, and it becomes part of your Build-A-Ville customization options.
Open the Passes menu, go to Quests, and select the Build-A-Wrixel tab. The objective reads “Collect Wrixel (Skull Ranger’s) parts at Mega Maze,” and it tracks progress as 0/4. Track it so a map marker points you toward the location.

Mega Maze sits south of Stone Sanctum, tucked between Sunken Shores and Shady Sanctuary. Mark it before you leave the Battle Bus and glide straight down into the maze so you have as much time as possible to move between pickups. The four parts are stored in the hedge and brick corridors, so expect to loop around the walls rather than search buildings.

All four Skull Ranger part locations
Each part is a glowing container with an “[E] Collect Wrixel (Skull Ranger’s) [part]” prompt. You can grab them in any order, but working around the maze by section keeps the route short.
| Part | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Accessory | Northeast corner of the maze, on the ground near a palm tree |
| Hat | Near the center of the maze |
| Torso | Along a wall in the western section |
| Legs | In the southern section, along an exterior corridor |
Note: some of the maze’s inner walls open and close when you step on glowing floor pads. If a corridor is blocked, look for a pad nearby to lower the barrier and reach the next part.

How to confirm the style unlocked
The moment you collect the fourth part, a “Quest Complete” banner appears with a “New Skull Ranger!” notification. Back in the lobby, the reward screen lists the unlock as the Base (Skull Ranger) style for Wrixel, marked as part of the Build-A-Ville set. From there you can open the Styles menu on Wrixel and apply the new Skull Ranger blocks to the outfit.
If the quest still shows fewer than 4/4 after leaving the match, one of the containers was missed, and the progress will carry over so you only need to grab the remaining parts. The most common reasons the style does not appear are collecting fewer than all four parts, or not yet owning Wrixel, since the Build-A-Wrixel quests stay locked until the outfit is in your locker.

Once Skull Ranger is added, it joins the wider pool of swappable heads, bodies, and accessories that make Wrixel one of the season’s most flexible outfits, so you can mix the skull look with any of the other styles you have already earned.
