The Sonic Power Sneakers are the movement item at the center of the Sonic the Hedgehog crossover in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. Note: If you knock out an enemy who is holding a 1-Up Token, they get rifted to safety and leave nothing behind. That means no free sneakers, so check what your target is carrying before you commit.
How to get the Mythic version from Dr. Eggman
The Mythic Sonic Power Sneakers only come from beating the Dr. Eggman boss. Eggman spawns at the Green Hill Zone POI and patrols the area, and he actually appears twice in a match, with a second spawn near Stone Sanctum or Reality’s Reign. Watch the minimap for the red skull icon to track exactly where he is.
Beating him has a chance to drop the Mythic sneakers alongside a Mythic 8-Bit Shotgun and a Mythic Midas’ Masterpiece. His loot pool can also include a Chug Jug, ammo, Gold Bars, and a 1-Up Token.

What the Sonic Power Sneakers do
Equip the sneakers from an inventory slot, then press the fire button to activate them. You curl into a blue ball, just like Sonic, and can move around as normal. Pressing the aim-down-sights button turns the effect off.

To break through walls and structures, charge the item by holding the fire button and then release to launch. A fully charged Spin Attack has enough force to smash builds, while a quick tap is better for a fast escape or a bounce into a nearby enemy.
Durability, stamina, and cooldown
The Epic sneakers carry their own stamina pool for Spin Dash. Drain it and the item goes into a 4-second cooldown before you can dash again. You can cancel a Spin Dash at any time by swapping to another item.
The Epic version also has limited durability of 100. Once that hits zero, the item breaks and vanishes from your inventory, so it will not carry you through an entire match on its own. Keep a weapon ready for when it runs dry. Even while spinning, you can still take damage from enemies.
The Mythic version removes that limit entirely. It has infinite durability, so you can speed across the map in a blue ball for as long as you like. That is the main reason the Eggman fight is worth the effort, and it pairs well with mobility Sprites such as the Sonic Sprite for an even bigger speed edge. You can also drop or trade the sneakers with teammates if someone else needs the boost.
