Stalker 2: Cost of Hope – Clear Sky Menu Screen Easter Egg Location

The Cost of Hope expansion tucks a direct callback to Stalker: Clear Sky into the CNPP region. Along the outer edge of the nuclear plant sits a physical recreation of the exact viewpoint used as the main menu background in the 2008 game, complete with a crashed helicopter and a clear line of sight to the reactor. Reaching it takes a short bit of platforming and a teleporter jump, and the payoff includes usable weapons and loot.

Quick answer: Finish the main mission “The Road to the Center of the Storm” to unlock the CNPP region, then head to the plant’s outer perimeter, climb a staircase to a service tunnel, cross it, and jump into the orb teleporter on the right to spawn inside the crashed helicopter.

What you need before you go

Access to the Easter egg is gated behind story progress rather than a hidden key or code. You must own and be playing the Cost of Hope DLC, and you have to complete the main mission “The Road to the Center of the Storm.” That mission is what opens up the CNPP region.

The site sits on the irradiated surface of the plant, so treat it like any other CNPP outing and carry protection against the radiation in the area.

How to reach the Clear Sky menu screen location

Come up through the underground monorail tunnel that drops you onto the surface of the CNPP region. From here, you are on the outer perimeter of the nuclear plant, which is where the recreated viewpoint hides.

Make your way to the marked spot along the plant’s outer edge, where you’ll find a staircase leading up to a service tunnel. Climb the stairs and follow the tunnel to the left.

Use the nearby debris to climb on top of the service tunnel, then move across it. After walking along the top for a stretch, look to your right for an orb teleporter.

Jump toward the orb teleporter. It warps you straight to the Clear Sky recreation. You’ll know it worked when you spawn beside the crashed helicopter perched on the building.

Step inside the crashed helicopter and look out through its destroyed hull. The CNPP framed through the broken chopper is the in-game rebuild of the classic Clear Sky main menu background.

The wreck isn’t just for the view. The hull holds two weapons plus scattered resources worth grabbing before you leave.

How to leave the rooftop

Once you’ve collected everything, you don’t need to backtrack across the tunnel. Face the side of the building opposite the helicopter door and drop from that ledge into the blue portal along the wall. It teleports you to a safe spot so you can carry on exploring the CNPP region and continuing its missions.

Note: If you don’t see the orb teleporter on top of the service tunnel, keep moving across the tunnel a little further before checking the right side again. The jump toward the orb is the only way to spawn at the exact recreation point.
