Far Far West Hellfire Secret: The One Ring Location and Where to Destroy It

The Hellfire region hides a nod to Frodo’s most famous errand. Somewhere in the northern caves sits a ring called The Precious, and carrying it to the volcano at the center of the map lets you cast it into the lava. Doing so rewards the Precious Rush Joker card, a card you cannot get any other way.

Quick answer: Pick up The Precious from the lava room inside the far-northern cave on Hellfire, carry it to the large central volcano, blast the sealed entrance with dynamite, climb to the summit, and drop the ring into the lava. The message “Secret completed! Obtained ‘Precious Rush’ Joker!” confirms it, and you also receive +30 Uranium.

Rewards for completing the Hellfire secret

Finishing the run gives you two things at once. The Precious Rush Joker unlocks the moment the ring hits the lava, and a Uranium payout drops alongside it.

Prepare before you enter the caves

The route runs through two trap-heavy caves packed with spikes and laser hazards, and enemies attack while you carry the ring across open ground. Bring a way to heal so a stray hit or trap does not end the run.

Equip a charged banjo or a healing ritual before you start.
Expect combat on the surface between the northern cave and the volcano.
Running on Easy difficulty makes the trap sections more forgiving.

Where to find The Precious (northern Hellfire cave)

The ring starts in a cave on the far northern edge of the Hellfire map. Open the map, find the cave marker at the top of the region, and head straight for it.

Travel to the cave on the far northern side of Hellfire. This is where the ring is stored.

Move through the spike and laser traps inside the cave until you reach the central lava room. Heal between hazards if you take damage.

Pick up the ring in the lava room. It is labeled The Precious.

Carry the ring to the central volcano

With the ring in hand, the objective moves to the large volcano in the middle of the map. Follow the route south while dealing with any enemies that get in your way.

Carry The Precious south toward the volcano at the center of Hellfire. Keep your healing ready for surface fights.

At the base of the volcano, find the nearby dynamite and use it to blast open the sealed cave entrance.

Destroy The Precious at the volcano summit

Inside the volcano is one more trap gauntlet and a boulder blockade before you can reach the top. Clear it, climb out, and make for the summit opening.

Work through the traps inside the volcano cave. Use another stick of dynamite to break the boulders blocking your path.

Exit the cave and climb the volcano to the summit opening. A Gollum-like character waits near the top.

Drop the ring into the lava at the summit to complete the secret.

How to confirm the secret is done

The instant the ring falls into the lava, the on-screen message “Secret completed! Obtained ‘Precious Rush’ Joker!” appears, and the +30 Uranium reward is added. If you see that message, the Precious Rush Joker is now yours and no further steps are needed.
