Dungeon Quest Reborn: How to Sell Items and Weapons for Gold

Where the Sell tent sits in the lobby, how the rarity tabs work, and how to confirm your gold actually landed.

Every dungeon run in Dungeon Quest Reborn dumps gear into your inventory, and most of it is not worth keeping. The game handles that with a dedicated Sell shop in the lobby, which converts unwanted weapons and armor into gold. That gold is what pays for upgrades at the lobby’s upgrade NPC, so clearing out junk drops is part of getting stronger rather than a side chore.

Quick answer: Walk from the lobby spawn down the stone path to the tent marked Sell, open it, pick a rarity tab, select the item you want gone, then hit the green dollar-sign button to confirm the sale and bank the gold.

Where to find the Sell shop in the Dungeon Quest Reborn lobby

You spawn in the main lobby village, the same hub that holds the dungeon selector, the upgrade NPC, and the Daily Reward NPC. The selling point is not a menu button on your HUD. It is a physical tent you have to walk to.

From the spawn point, follow the stone path through the village. The tent is labeled Sell above the stall, and standing next to it is enough to trigger the interaction prompt. Your current gold total sits on the HUD the whole time, which is the number you will be watching once you start offloading gear.

How to sell items and weapons for gold

Interact with the Sell tent to open the shop window. Your inventory loads inside it, split into rarity tabs instead of one long scroll.
Pick the rarity tab that holds the gear you want gone. Each tab shows how many items sit inside it, so a tab reading Common (1) has exactly one item and Rare (0) has nothing to show.
Click the item to select it. The window then displays its value on the Sell Price line — a common sword, for example, lists at 100 gold.
Press the green dollar-sign button, the one tied to the Sell selected items action. The sale goes through immediately and the gold lands in your total.

Note: the button only acts on what you have actually highlighted. If nothing is selected, nothing sells, which is the usual reason a first attempt appears to do nothing.

What the Sell menu shows

The layout is deliberately blunt. There is no haggling, no fluctuating market, and no listing your gear for other players. Each item has a fixed value the shop pays out.

ElementWhat it does
Rarity tabsCommon, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Ultimate, each with a live count of items inside
Sell PriceThe exact gold payout for the item you have selected
Sell selected itemsConfirms the sale for everything currently highlighted
Gold counter (HUD)Updates the moment the sale completes

Because the tabs carry counts, they double as a quick audit. If you are trying to work out whether a legendary drop is still sitting in your bags, open the Legendary tab and read the number next to it.

How to confirm the sale went through

Two things change at once. The gold figure on your HUD rises by the amount shown on the Sell Price line, and the item vanishes from its rarity tab, dropping that tab’s count by one. A tab that read Common (1) before the sale reads Common (0) after it.

If the count has not moved, the sale did not register. Reselect the item and press the confirm button again rather than assuming the gold arrived silently.

Deciding what to sell and what to keep

Selling is permanent, so the sorting matters more than the clicking. Gear in Dungeon Quest Reborn carries Physical, Spell and Health values on its card, and the upgrade NPC raises those numbers on items you commit to. Anything that beats what you are currently wearing on your damage stat is a keeper. Everything else is fuel.

Cosmetic items sit outside that math entirely. The cosmetics menu splits into Enchants, Weapons, Armors and Titles, and the game states plainly that cosmetics do not enhance gameplay, so they are never a substitute for a stat upgrade.

One practical rule holds up well early on. Sell the whole Common tab without thinking about it, and slow down only when you reach Epic and above, where a drop might match your build even if its raw numbers look mediocre at first glance.

Buying Gold and Gems with Robux

Selling is the free route to gold. The shop menu also sells currency directly for Robux, in fixed bundles for both Gold and Gems.

Gold bundlePriceGems bundlePrice
480K89 R$2K199 R$
960K149 R$4.5K399 R$

4.40M599 R$27.5K1599 R$
10.08M899 R$50K2999 R$

None of it is required. Every dungeon and difficulty tier is reachable through play, and clearing runs then selling the leftovers covers upgrade costs on its own.

Selling to the shop is not the same as trading

The Sell tent only ever pays you gold. It does not list your gear for other players, and there is no auction house or verified “black market” attached to it. Trading has its own toggle in the settings menu, alongside Music, Damage and Show Abilities, and any player-to-player swap should be completed inside an official in-game trade window rather than agreed in chat.

Before any deal, check you are in the real experience rather than a copycat: Dungeon Quest Reborn runs on Place ID 77649408247578. Refuse anyone asking you to drop an item on the ground “for trust”, pay through a separate group game, or route the swap through a middleman from an unfamiliar Discord. Staff do not need your weapon to hand out VIP, and value lists written for the original Dungeon Quest do not apply here.

Third-party sites listing Dungeon Quest Reborn weapons and accounts for real money are not connected to the game, and buying through them carries risks the in-game Sell tent simply does not.

The habit worth building is a short lobby routine after each run. Walk the stone path, clear the low rarity tabs, watch the gold counter climb, then spend it at the upgrade NPC on the one weapon you actually intend to carry into the next difficulty.
