Every treasure location inside the Temple of the Gales, plus how to hand them over to Zeki for the Golden Egg.

Zeki wants to grow his hoard, and he is not picky about where the pieces come from. Special Donations is the Discovery Quest he hands you inside the Temple of the Gales during the main quest Silver-winging It, and it asks for seven pieces of treasure scattered across the temple’s floating islands. Four of them are easy to grab on your first visit. The other three are locked behind progress you may not have made yet.

Quick answer: Collect the Ancient Wine Barrel, Ancient Symbol Plaques, and Golden Egg on the central island, the Ancient Miniature Airship on the island with the water pools, and the Golden Ancient Fish, Golden Chapaa, and Galeseeker Goggles on the final island, then talk to Zeki and select each treasure in the dialogue until the counter reads 7/7.

What you need before you can finish the quest

Zeki starts the quest when you speak to him inside the temple, so the objective can sit in your log long before you are able to clear it. Three of the seven treasures sit on the final island, which stays sealed until you have worked through the Temple of the Gales questline and opened the last chamber during Eye of the Storm. The Galeseeker Goggles are stricter still, because they only appear once the sliding puzzle inside that chamber has been solved.

Nothing expires, and you can bank the first four treasures whenever you like. If your counter is stuck at 4/7, the temple is the problem, not your search.

Open your map before you set off. The temple is split into separate floating islands, and the Flow Gates let you jump between them rather than gliding the whole way each time.

Central island: wine barrel, plaques, and Golden Egg

Head for the building at the top of the central island and walk around to its west side. A fallen column marks a wall covered in vines. Climb up, step into the small stone room, and the Ancient Wine Barrel is sitting right there in the corner next to a treasure chest.

Open that chest while you are inside. It holds an Ancient Treasure Chest item, Phoenix Fireworks, and gold, but none of it counts toward the seven — it is just loot, and it trips up players who assume the chest is a quest item.

Step back out of the vine room and look at the ground below. The Ancient Symbol Plaques are lying flat on a slightly raised grassy ledge, close enough that you can spot them from the doorway. Drop down and loot them.

The Golden Egg needs a short glide. Stand at the central Flow Gate, face away from the final island, and climb up to the square building. Go left toward the ruined arch, walk up it as far as it will take you, and turn northwest until you can see a floating rock nearby. Jump, glide across, and latch onto its side, then climb the rest of the way. The Mysterious Treasure waiting at the top is the egg.

Water pools island: Ancient Miniature Airship

This is the secondary island with the pools of water. From the Flow Gate, head southwest and follow the path uphill until it turns into a climbing ramp. At the top, climb the rocks on your right and walk the ledge that wraps around the tower. The Ancient Miniature Airship is sitting on that outer ledge, easy to walk straight past if you stay on the main path.

Final island: Golden Ancient Fish, Golden Chapaa, and Galeseeker Goggles

Stand in front of the last doorway, where the exit Flow Gate sits, and head southeast. Climb the rocks up toward the tower standing on the rise. Step inside and the Golden Ancient Fish is lying on the floor.

From the fish, turn around and run to the edge of the island. Look for the small floating island with the wind turbine on it and glide down. The Golden Chapaa is sitting out in the open there.

The Galeseeker Goggles are the last piece and the one most people are missing. Once the final puzzles are done, go into the temple room that houses the sliding puzzle and check the bottom level. The goggles are on a table on the right-hand side of the room.

How to hand the treasures to Zeki

Zeki does not take everything in one go. Talk to him and you will get a dialogue option for each treasure you are carrying, with lines like “I found this solid gold egg and nest…” and “I found these ancient goggles…”. Pick them one by one until only “I think I found all the treasures…” is left, then choose that to close the quest.

Somewhere in the conversation, Zeki floats the idea of donating the haul to a museum. Your answer changes the payout, so read that prompt before clicking through.

How to confirm the quest actually completed

Two things should happen the moment you pick the final dialogue line. The Special Donations objective flips from “Bring Treasures to Zeki” to a completed state and drops out of your tracker, and the Thief of the Gales accomplishment pops with a View Accomplishments prompt. The Golden Egg lands in your inventory as a decor item you can place on your plot.

If the counter is still short, work through the short list of reasons rather than re-searching the central island.

  • Stuck at 4/7: the final island is not open yet, so the fish, Chapaa, and goggles cannot spawn for you.
  • Stuck at 6/7: the sliding puzzle in the final chamber has not been solved, which is what puts the Galeseeker Goggles on the table.
  • Counted the wrong item: the Ancient Treasure Chest, Phoenix Fireworks, and gold from the chest next to the wine barrel are ordinary loot and never count.

Special Donations has been in the game since Build 0.175, and the treasures sit in fixed spots, so nothing here is randomized between runs. Grab the four you can reach on your first trip through the temple, keep pushing the main questline, and come back for the final three once the last chamber opens.
