What Flaming Mane is good for

  • Burning Path, its Field ability, burns through damp brambles even when Flaming Mane is not equipped.
  • Chaotic Flame, the Tempering art, turns the flame breath into Chaotic Flame, which drains HP and Sha-Chi from ignited enemies.
  • At weapon levels 5 and 25, respectively, Fireball Burst and Twin Fireballs each provide extra fireballs for 1 Remnant Spark.

Every fireball and Lionhead Rush draws on Remnant Spark, so it helps to know how to restore Remnant Spark. For how Flaming Mane sits among the other early options, the best weapons early on list covers the rest.
