Star Wars Zero Company puts a Jedi on your roster, but the Force is deliberately rare here. Only two characters wield it during play, and just one of them stays with your squad for the campaign. The other shows up for a single, high-powered appearance.
Quick answer: Tel-Rea Vokoss is the only permanent playable Force user, unlocked midway through the campaign. Anakin Skywalker is playable in one mission. You cannot make your own Jedi or assign the Jedi Padawan class to a custom operator.

Tel-Rea Vokoss, the squad’s Jedi Padawan
Tel-Rea Vokoss is the main Force user you control. She is a Tognath Jedi Padawan and joins your active roster once you reach the midpoint of the story. From that point she stays available for the rest of the campaign like any other authored operator.
Her combat style pairs dual lightsabers with Force abilities. Basic lightsaber strikes cut through enemy defenses, while Force Push deals Force damage and shoves enemies around the map. That knockback has real tactical value. You can push a target out of cover and directly into another squad member’s Overwatch zone to set up a follow-up shot.

The second playable Force user is Anakin Skywalker, before his fall to the dark side. He does everything Tel-Rea can do, but hits harder and lets you overpower encounters with his abilities. The catch is that he is only playable in one mission, so his time on the battlefield is brief but potent.

Why you can’t build a full Jedi squad
The Jedi Padawan class is an exotic class tied exclusively to Tel-Rea Vokoss. You cannot recruit a generic Jedi, and you cannot assign the class to Hawks or to any custom operator you create at the Den. If you want a lightsaber in your squad, Tel-Rea is the only way to get one.
This works differently from the eight standard classes, which any recruit can use. Standard specializations can be swapped freely through the Personnel room at the Den, and operators later unlock a second specialization to combine two standard roles. Exotic classes are locked in. The talents of authored characters and unique specializations like Jedi Padawan and Astromech cannot be changed.
| Exotic class | Who can use it |
|---|---|
| Jedi Padawan | Tel-Rea Vokoss only |
| Mandalorian Warrior | Cly Kullervo only |
| Astromech | Custom droids (a full Astromech squad is possible) |
| One unrevealed exotic class | Not yet confirmed |
Note: Clone Trooper is not a class. Clone operators can take any standard class, so a full squad of clones is achievable. The Jedi restriction only applies because the Padawan role is exotic and character-bound.

So the Force is present in Star Wars Zero Company, just tightly rationed. Tel-Rea Vokoss carries it through the campaign with lightsabers and Force Push, Anakin Skywalker delivers a short burst of raw power in one mission, and no amount of squad customization will hand you a second Jedi.
