In Steal An Egg, speed controls how far into the map you can go, how much time you have to take an egg before its guardian strikes, and whether you can make it to safety with a Secret egg. Plenty of supposed “infinite speed” methods are shared around, but their results vary. The game provides some mechanics directly, a handful of timing exploits still function, and one well-known method has been fixed even though it continues to take your Robux.
Quick answer: Farm rare eggs in near-empty servers, convert them into permanent Trail, treadmill and Boss Shop multipliers, then lean on movement jukes and the night cycle. Skip the Wi-Fi Robux glitch entirely — it is patched and still deducts currency.
| Method | Status | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Low-population server farming | Works | Uncontested Secret and Rainbow eggs |
| Wall-bouncing / strafe running | Works | Breaks boss tracking on the run home |
| Enchanted Forest corner spot | Works | Boss gets stuck, cannot land hits |
| Trail, treadmill and Boss Shop stacking | Works | Permanent speed multipliers |
| Instant Hatch at night | Works with timing | Two pets from one egg |
| Night-reset water and portal camping | Works | No teleport back to spawn |
| Auto-clicker on the treadmill | Works | AFK speed and cash income |
| Dual-player simultaneous steal | Works | Confuses boss aggro |
| Egg-into-wall boss lockout | Unreliable | Scorpion did not stay disabled |
| Wi-Fi disconnect on Robux purchases | Patched | Robux still deducted |
Farm Secret and Rainbow eggs in near-empty servers
For gathering high-tier eggs, this is the safest approach, and it requires no exploit. In populated servers, other players are usually the threat on the way back; guardians are less of a problem. With no other players around, even the deepest biomes are easy to cross.
You can tell the method succeeded if you arrive at each nest ahead of everyone else, then see the “You stole an EGG!” prompt and make it back without anyone following.

Wall-bouncing and strafe running
An egg cuts your movement speed, and guardians take advantage of that. On narrow paths between biomes, switch between the left and right movement keys to ricochet off the corridor walls instead of running straight toward your base. The repeated direction changes throw off the boss’s aim and stop it closing in to knock the egg away. This zig-zagging disrupts ordinary boss tracking and gives you the opening to get home.

In the deepest areas, weaving back and forth through Cosmic helps you avoid both its guardian and the traps other players have set. That can mean keeping a Cosmic egg all the way to safety instead of losing it to someone waiting at the boundary.
Boundary side-wall desync
Another option is to drop the egg and strafe along the safe-zone edge, trying to draw the boss into the boundary wall and break its lock at the barrier. This can make the boss lose track of you, but the maneuver is awkward and inconsistent; use it as an occasional dodge, not a dependable route.

Enchanted Forest corner invincibility spot
At the far end of the run, go to the Enchanted Forest and find the narrow gap where the cliff faces meet the waterfall platforms. With an egg in hand, press your character firmly into the corner and face the wall. Pursuing bosses become stuck hovering on the geometry above or beside the gap, unable to complete an attack, so you can wait there with the egg out of danger.

The spot scales up with a second player. Leave an alt account or a friend AFK in the corner holding an egg, and the boss stays permanently aggroed onto that stuck player. Your main account can then walk up and clear the remaining eggs with no threat at all.
You can bait higher-tier guardians into the same terrain trap by placing eggs near the corner and drawing them in. Dragons and other large bosses hover among the cliffs just like the smaller ones do.

Stack every permanent speed source
Speed bonuses in Steal An Egg multiply together, making it more important to activate all of them before treadmill grinding than to purchase them in a particular sequence. The Prehistoric T-Rex nest calls for 450B speed, and Cosmic requires even more; reaching either takes a complete set of multipliers.
| Source | Where | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy Trail | Trail Shop | 5x speed, $20B |
| Eternal Trail | Trail Shop | 10x speed, $12.5T |
| Free Gift chest | Near Trails Shop | 10,000 Speed |
| 1.25x Speed booster | Boss Shop / Dr. Scramble | Speed multiplier, 375 Samples, 5m |
| 2x Treadmill Booster | Boss Shop / Dr. Scramble | Doubles step gains, 375 Samples, 10m |
| Hacker Treadmill | Speed Shop, Lv 8→9 | +11K speed per step, $50T |
| Pet Index rewards | Index menu | Instant speed per discovery |
Trails offer most players the largest cash-purchased speed increase, without spending Robux. The shop’s tiers go from Grey to Secret, Galaxy, Eternal and Divine; each new trail takes the place of the one before it rather than stacking with it. Put on the Eternal Trail, with its 10x multiplier, and the extra distance covered each step is obvious right away.
In the in-game Shop, you can find the x2 Growth pass for 467 Robux, x2 Money for 399 Robux, and Double Your Speed for 499 Robux. Flat speed purchases range from +150K SPEED at 79 Robux to +1B SPEED at 2999. These purchases are optional, though the growth and money passes multiply their benefits with your other bonuses.
Beside the Trails Shop is a Free Gift chest that grants 10,000 Speed for a limited time when you like and favorite the game and join the community group. The reward is free, but the chest is easy to miss.
Dr. Scramble’s Experiments boosters
Boss samples from kills buy temporary buffs at Dr. Scramble’s Laboratory in the base area. The 1.25x Speed boost costs 375 Samples and lasts five minutes, and the 2x Treadmill Booster costs 375 Samples and lasts ten minutes. The speed boost pushes your overall velocity well past normal linear scaling, so it is worth having active before a deep run.

This economy also relies on the portal route. Use the Rift at spawn to enter a boss arena, where the Abyss Overlord appears with 7000 HP. Avoid its red ground warnings as you destroy the purple crystals around it. Victory awards tokens and samples for purchasing boosters; afterward, get straight onto the treadmill so the 2x Treadmill Booster’s timer doesn’t go to waste.
Treadmill upgrades
Spending cash to improve your home treadmill increases the speed earned with every step. Raising it from Level 10 to Level 11 costs $2.5Qa, and the Level 11-to-12 upgrade is $7.5Qa; both raise the per-step amount. At the top end, upgrading the Hacker Treadmill from Level 8 to Level 9 gives +11K speed each step. Run with the 2x Treadmill Booster and Double Your Speed pass active, and your gains grow exponentially even while you stay in place.

Dual-player simultaneous steal
When two players interact with the same nest and hit Steal on nearly the same frame, boss aggro frequently sticks to only one runner or glitches out completely. The other carrier gets a clean escape with the egg. It needs a friend or a second account, but it reliably confuses the guardian long enough for at least one of you to walk away.

Use the night cycle instead of losing to it
The end of the night resets all eggs and sends anyone in the biomes back to spawn. If you’re midway across the map, that teleport wipes out the whole trip. You can avoid being moved by waiting in either of two locations: the waterfall in the Angels area or the portal in the Abyss Ocean area. Step into one just before the countdown reaches zero and remain there. Once the timer changes, you’ll still be deep in the biomes as the other players return to the safe zone.
Duplicate a pet with Instant Hatch
The transition from day to night can also trigger an egg duplication. Bring a large egg, such as a dinosaur egg, to your base and place it unhatched on the nest. Wait beside it, then choose Instant Hatch and pay the 9 Robux at the precise moment night changes. A successful timing duplicates the pet from that egg—for instance, you could get two Bronto pets—and puts both in your inventory as soon as the hatch finishes. The transition timing is what determines success, so be ready before the countdown is nearly over instead of rushing back at the last moment.
AFK farm the treadmill with an auto-clicker
Roblox removes inactive players after 20 minutes, limiting the time you can earn speed on a treadmill. To keep the session active, use an auto-clicker to send input. A widely used option is OP Auto Clicker: choose a 100 millisecond interval and press F6 to start it while your character is on the treadmill. With the Boss Shop treadmill booster running, you can build speed and cash overnight without being disconnected, then spend the money on treadmill upgrades as you earn it.
Tricks that do not pay off
The suggested trick involves pressing an egg into the wall next to a guardian to push it out of bounds and stop the boss from attacking. Several attempts with the Scorpion showed the result isn’t dependable. Treat it as a risky chance, not a sure way to protect a nest.
One way of trying to save samples with a Wi-Fi disconnect sits in a grey area: open Dr. Scramble’s Experiments, disable Wi-Fi, purchase a buff such as 1.25x Speed, and immediately leave the game. Then reconnect and rejoin; the buff may be active even though the samples were not deducted. Results vary, and the timing of the disconnect has to be exact.
Disconnecting Wi-Fi during Robux Shop purchases has been patched; it only reduces your balance. I bought both +150K SPEED and the $24,000 money pack, and each transaction finished with “Purchase successful! Thank you so much!” while charging the funds. My 122 Robux became 73, precisely the amount the trick was meant to avoid spending. In the current build, this method cannot grant free speed or currency.
Executor-based script hubs are another route to avoid. Their promotions include auto-steal, trap immunity and movement rates of hundreds of studs per second. These features aren’t legitimate gameplay and can lead to Roblox moderation on your account. The displayed stats may look impressive, but the account using them is the one that faces action.
The dependable fast-progress plan is straightforward, without relying on bogus exploits. On an empty server, you can collect Secret and Rainbow eggs unopposed; their pets fund trails and treadmill levels. The night cycle also supplies a free duplicate and lets you get ahead of players still at spawn. This progression loop keeps building on itself, unlike the disconnect glitch.
