Sell Ores: How to Earn Money and Roll Rarer Ores in Roblox

A clear breakdown of the mining loop, base upgrades, and the shops that drive progression in the Roblox incremental game.

Sell Ores is a Roblox incremental simulator built around a single loop: roll for ores, place them in your base, and let drilling drones mine and collect resources that you sell for money. That money funds upgrades, rarer ores, gears, and pets, which speed up every future cycle. The game is developed by The Ore Drillers.

Quick answer: Pull the lever to roll an ore, buy it, and place it in a mining compartment. A drone fills a crate over time, which you sell at the merchant counter for money. Reinvest that money into ore luck, drill yield, drill speed, and ore regen speed to progress faster.

The core money loop in Sell Ores

All income flows from one repeatable cycle. You obtain an ore, place it in a mining compartment, and a drilling drone works the ore to fill a crate. Once the crate is ready, you collect it and sell it at the Sell Ores merchant counter for money. That money goes back into upgrades and more ores.

Interact with the Roll Ores machine and pull the lever to roll an ore. Early on this produces basic ores like Stone Ore.

Let the drilling drone work the compartment until a crate fills. Collect the crate and sell it at the merchant counter to convert it into money.

Your base also earns while you are away, so leaving a productive setup running before you log off keeps money accumulating. Selling collected crates regularly is important, since you want money moving into upgrades rather than sitting in unsold inventory.

The base and its mining compartments

The mine area sits at the far end of your base and is split across multiple floors. Each floor holds seven mining compartments plus a drilling drone. You fill those compartments with rolled and purchased ores, and the drone produces crates from them over time.

Upgrade boards around the base let you spend money on five progression stats. Prioritize keeping every compartment filled with a productive ore, then invest in the upgrades that shorten your next mining cycle.

UpgradeEffect
Ore LuckImproves your chance of rolling rarer ores
Rolling PedestalsAdds pedestals for rolling
Drill YieldIncreases the amount each drill produces
Drill SpeedSpeeds up how quickly drones work
Ore Regen SpeedRefreshes ores faster for more output

Additional floors unlock through purchases such as Unlock Floor 1 > 2 for $10,000, which opens more compartments and a Boost Pedestal. As you add ore slots, you buy new tunnel bays and can level individual ores to raise their output. Rolling higher-tier ores becomes central to income, and rare pulls like Zeus Core sit at extreme rarities and high prices well beyond early affordability.

Gear Shop: growth gems and ore mutations

The Gear Shop sits at the center of the map. It sells two kinds of gears: Growth Gems that temporarily speed up ore regeneration, and coatings that apply a mutation multiplier to an ore. There is also an Ore Cleanser to remove a mutation.

Time your Growth Gems for moments when several productive ores are placed in compartments, so the temporary regeneration boost affects as much output as possible.

Pet Shop: Lucky Blocks and stat boosts

Pets are stat-boosting units that help you progress faster. You get them from the Pet Shop near the Gear Shop by purchasing and opening Lucky Blocks. Each Lucky Block has its own rarity tier and contains five pets, each with a fixed chance of being pulled. The drop chances follow the same pattern across every block: 50%, 25%, 15%, 8%, and 2%.

Rolling for rarer ores

Every ore you place comes from the roll. Pulling the lever gives you a random ore, and rarer ores generate more money over time. The single most effective way to improve your rolls is to raise Ore Luck through upgrades, which pushes your odds toward better ores. Adding Rolling Pedestals lets you roll more efficiently as you scale up.

Early ores such as Stone Ore, Coal Ore, Copper Ore, Tin Ore, Lead Ore, and Iron Ore are cheap and fill your first compartments quickly. As you unlock higher floors and buy more tunnel bays, you can level each ore to increase its yield and replace weaker ores with rarer pulls.

Redeeming codes for free rewards

Codes give small boosts to early progression. Known working codes include RELEASE, which grants $500, and EXPANSION, which grants a Small Growth Gem. Codes are entered through the in-game menu.

Launch Sell Ores from the official Roblox game page and wait for your base to load.
Open the Settings or codes menu on the side of your screen while standing in your base.
Paste a code into the text box and confirm. A working code delivers its reward instantly, so you should see your money increase or the item appear in your inventory. If nothing happens, the code has likely expired or was typed incorrectly.

Progression priorities

Progress comes from keeping the loop running without gaps. Fill every available compartment, sell crates before your progress stalls, and reinvest into the upgrades that improve your current bottleneck rather than buying items that look impressive but do not raise output.

  • Keep all mining compartments occupied with ores at all times.
  • Invest early in ore luck, drill yield, drill speed, and ore regen speed.
  • Activate Growth Gems only when several productive ores are placed and working.
  • Sell crates regularly so money is always cycling into upgrades.
  • Leave a productive base running before logging off to collect offline earnings.

Follow that pattern and each cycle funds the next, moving you from basic Stone Ore setups toward rarer ores, stronger drones, mutation coatings, and higher-tier pets.
