Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy – All 275 Collectibles and Trophy Requirements

Every Blade, Artefact, Charm, and Resonance Point count you need, plus the one collectible you can permanently lose.

Every Blade, Artefact, Charm, and Resonance Point count you need, plus the one collectible you can permanently lose.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy hides 275 collectibles across its 14 chapters, and grabbing all of them unlocks a full set of trophies and achievements. Most can be mopped up later through Chapter Select, but one category cannot. Getting that part right on your first run is the difference between a clean 100% and a full second playthrough.

Quick answer: Collect 165 of the 200 Resonance Points in a single, uninterrupted playthrough before touching Chapter Select. Blades, Artefacts, and Charms are not missable and can be cleaned up afterward.

The full collectible breakdown

There are four collectible types in the game, and each one is tied to a specific trophy. Here is what you are chasing and where it counts.

CollectibleCountTrophy
Blades8 (9 with Pre-Order DLC)Plunderer, Adaptable
Artefacts (Relics of the Past & Present)37Hoarder
Charms (includes 5 Theseus Echoes)30Superstitious, In the name of my kin
Resonance Points200 (165 required)Like a warrior

The 5 Theseus Echoes are a subset of the 30 Charms and carry their own trophy, In the name of my kin. Blades are mostly story weapons you receive automatically, so they are hard to miss.

Why Resonance Points are the only thing that can trap you

Resonance Points act as skill points, and they behave differently from every other collectible. They are missable and do not carry over through Chapter Select. To buy every skill across the 6 Mastery Branches and earn the Like a warrior trophy, you need 165 of the 200 available in one continuous playthrough.

The buffer matters. Because there are 35 more points than you strictly need, missing a handful along the way is fine. You do not have to find all 200.

Two rules make these points fragile:

  • They are only saved when you reach the next checkpoint. If you die before then, you must re-collect every point you picked up since your last checkpoint.
  • Reloading an older chapter resets your total to whatever you had when you first started that chapter. It does not transfer points earned in later chapters.

You also earn a Resonance Point for clearing each combat encounter, so a normal, thorough run naturally builds toward the 165 target without much detour.

Note: There is no in-game tracker for Resonance Points in Chapter Select. Your current total appears in the bottom-left corner of the “Artefacts” menu, so check that number as you go.

What you can safely clean up later

Blades, Artefacts, and Charms are not missable. If you finish the story and realize you skipped one, load the chapter through Chapter Select, grab the item, and back out to the main menu immediately. It will register. This works for everything except Resonance Points.

Each of these types has its own tracker so you can pinpoint what is left:

CollectibleWhere to track it
Artefacts (Relics)The “Artefacts” menu; each has a unique name, so you can see exactly which one you are missing
Blades & CharmsThe “Sophia” menu, listed below your skills

Chapters with collectibles

Collectibles are spread across 14 chapters, but two of them contain nothing to find. Chapter VIII: Resonance and Chapter XIV: What Remains have no collectibles, so you can play those without stopping to search.

  • Chapter I: Blood Ties
  • Chapter II: Felons
  • Chapter III: Those Before Us
  • Chapter IV: From Hell It Rose
  • Chapter V: Desolation It Wrought
  • Chapter VI: What Lies Beneath
  • Chapter VII: Death It Sowed
  • Chapter IX: Night Has Come
  • Chapter X: Parallel Paths
  • Chapter XI: Patera
  • Chapter XII: Fading Light
  • Chapter XIII: As One

Early collectibles: Chapters I to III

The opening chapters ease you in. Sophia’s first weapons arrive on their own, and the earliest artefacts sit close to the main path. Here is what to grab and where it is.

Chapter I: Blood Ties

  • Rusty Sword (Blade) — Story-related. Sophia’s first sword, given automatically.
  • Handled Cross (Artefact, Relics of the Present #1) — When you reach the island and search the corpses in the desert area, look under the white tree branch near the body in the center.

Chapter II: Felons

  • Serenissima Banner (Artefact, Relics of the Present #2) — After the security pat-down, cross the town square toward the bridge with statues. Before crossing, head right and follow the path to the corner ledge by the canal.
  • Bead #1 (Charm) — Increases the chance an archer’s arrow misses you. On the detour Leni suggests, go through the hole in the fence, take a left and a left again, and open the box near the back wall by the animal pen.
  • Bombasin Mask (Artefact, Relics of the Present #3) — In the plaza in front of the church, move to the right side and check the floor behind one of the market stalls.
  • Falchion (Blade) — Story-related, given before you climb the church. If you own the Heritage Pack DLC, you also receive the Hero’s Blade here.
  • Bracelet #1 (Charm) — Increases critical strike damage. During the rooftop escape, after you pull your first enemy off the roof with the grapple, shimmy across to that roof and look left for the charm box.
  • Resonance Point x5 — Awarded automatically when you open the story chest in Sub-Chapter 4.

Chapter III: Those Before Us

This chapter is the first big collectible haul, with a string of Resonance Points around the beach and ruins.

  • Resonance Point — On the wrecked boat in the shallow water in front of the large door.
  • Conch Shell (Artefact, Relics of the Present #4) — In the cave opening to the right of the large door at the chapter start. Follow the passage down and look left.
  • Play Onyx (Artefact, Relics of the Past #1) — After the beach cave, you emerge into a wooded area. Enter the small cave in the cliffside straight ahead and grab it at the end.
  • Resonance Point — After the cave with the seagull, you slide down a gravel slope. The point is glowing at the bottom on the right.
  • Golden Cup (Artefact, Relics of the Past #2) — Past the fox and up the hill, climb the platforms on the right, then follow the path down to the left to the end of a small valley.
  • Heroic Plaque (Artefact) — Back on the main path, jump the gap and reach the ruins. Head through the middle toward the ocean and check behind the corner of stacked stone bricks on a square platform.
  • Resonance Point — From the Heroic Plaque, move toward the sea and go right to find it on a rock.
  • Resonance Point — On top of the watchtower in the same ruins area.
  • Resonance Point — After the cutscene with the ships, you enter a cave with tents. Look right before climbing the ladder.
  • Resonance Point — At the area with the massive statue, drop down twice onto the wooden platforms below.
  • Resonance Point — Continue down to the lower ruins and go through the hole in the lower-right area.
  • Bead #2 (Charm) — Head back out and cross to the opposite side where two cypress trees stand. The charm box is in the ruins on the right, just past the trees.

Late-game example: Chapter IX collectibles

Chapter IX: Night Has Come leans heavily on the grappling hook and vertical traversal, so many of its items sit on ledges and pillars just off the main route.

  • Resonance Point — Use the grappling hook to smash the fence posts, then drop down to the ledge on the left.
  • Arm Band 4 (Charm) — Jump back up, swing across the gap, and go down the steps to the right to reach the box.
  • Relics of the Past: Stained Mosaic (Artefact) — To the right of the door, follow the cliff edge.
  • Resonance Point — Cross the pit using the metal beam.
  • Pierced Coin 3 (Charm) — Swing across the gap, jump back to the ledge behind you, then jump diagonally to the other ledge.
  • Bracelet 4 (Charm) — Return to where you entered, jump onto the middle pillars, up the stairs, jump right, work to the main ledge, then jump to the pillars with the tree to reach the chest.

How to confirm your 100% is locked in

You will know each collectible type is done by its tracker. The Artefacts menu shows every relic by name, so a gap there tells you exactly which one to revisit. Blades and Charms fill in under the Sophia menu. Your profile save screen shows overall completion when you boot the game.

For Resonance Points, the only confirmation is the counter in the bottom-left of the Artefacts menu. Before you finish the story, make sure that number sits at 165 or higher on your active run. If it does, you can spend across all 6 Mastery Branches and the Like a warrior trophy will unlock once every skill is purchased.

The single most common way people lock themselves out of 100% is reloading an earlier chapter to farm points, which resets the total to what it was at that chapter’s start. Treat your first playthrough as the one that counts for Resonance Points, and leave everything else for Chapter Select cleanup afterward.
