Genshin Impact 7.0 Phase 2: Where to Get Free Primogems for Flins and Ineffa

A full breakdown of the primogems available between September 1 and 22, and how many wishes they add up to.

A full breakdown of the primogems available between September 1 and 22, and how many wishes they add up to.

The second half of Genshin Impact 7.0 runs from September 1 to September 22, 2026, and it puts Flins and Ineffa back on the wish banners alongside Aino, Iansan, and Lan Yan. Three weeks is enough time to rebuild a meaningful wish count if you actually collect everything the patch hands out, and most of it comes from content you would be clearing anyway.

Quick answer: Finish daily commissions every day, claim the Paimon’s Bargains fate reset, clear the reset Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater, complete the Great Expeditionist Challenge and Trial of the Bastion, run both character trials, check in on HoYoLAB, and redeem the codes from the September 11 livestream. That totals roughly 5,080 primogems, or about 32 wishes, at no cost.

Every free primogem source in 7.0 Phase 2

Here is the full income list for the phase. The larger numbers in brackets are what you get for a complete clear rather than the practical target most accounts hit.

SourcePrimogems
Daily commissions (60 × 21 days)1,260
Paimon’s Bargains monthly reset (5 Intertwined Fates)800 equivalent
Great Expeditionist Challenge920
Imaginarium Theater (through Act 8)620 (1,000 full clear)
Spiral Abyss (through Floor 11)600 (800 for 36 stars)
Trial of the Bastion420
Version 7.1 livestream codes300
HoYoLAB daily check-in60
End-of-version redemption code60
Character trial runs (Flins and Ineffa, 20 each)40
Free-to-play total~5,080 (about 32 wishes)

Note: an Intertwined Fate costs 160 primogems, which is where the wish conversions come from. Adding Blessing of the Welkin Moon on top contributes another 1,890 primogems across the phase, pushing the total to about 6,970 primogems, or roughly 45 wishes.

Why your own total may land closer to 3,300

The 5,080 figure assumes the endgame rewards land inside the window and that you have not already burned through the event rewards. Two things move the number down sharply.

Imaginarium Theater resets before Phase 2 begins, so if you cleared it during Phase 1 there is nothing left to claim in this window. The Great Expeditionist Challenge also opened earlier in the version, meaning a player who has been keeping up may only have around 360 primogems left in it rather than the full 920. Factor those in, add roughly 120 primogems from web events and smaller promotional codes, and a caught-up free-to-play account lands nearer 3,260 primogems, or about 20 wishes. Welkin subscribers in that situation finish around 5,150 primogems.

Neither number is wrong. Check which of these you have already claimed before deciding how many wishes you can realistically bank by September 22.

Endgame rewards: Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater

The Spiral Abyss refreshes once inside the phase. Clearing through Floor 11 is worth 600 primogems and is comfortably within reach for most built accounts, while a full 36-star run pushes that to 800. If you are short on time, Floor 11 is the efficient stopping point.

Stars are what pay out, not raw clear time, so bring a team that can meet each chamber’s objective rather than one that merely survives it.

Floor 12 is only worth attempting if you are chasing the extra 200 primogems from a 36-star clear. It is the single most time-consuming reward on the list relative to its payout.

Imaginarium Theater pays 620 primogems for reaching Act 8 and 1,000 for a full run. Because its cycle resets ahead of the phase, confirm the Performance Tour rewards are still unclaimed before counting them toward your Phase 2 budget.

Daily income you should not skip

Daily commissions are the single largest free source in the phase. Four commissions plus the Adventurers’ Guild turn-in gives 60 primogems a day, and across the 21 days from September 1 to September 22 that is 1,260 primogems. Miss five days and you have thrown away roughly two wishes.

The Paimon’s Bargains Starglitter and Stardust Exchange also reset on September 1. The stock of 5 Intertwined Fates is the priority buy there, equivalent to 800 primogems of wishing power.

Outside the game, the HoYoLAB daily check-in calendar adds another 60 primogems over the phase. It takes seconds, and the rewards accumulate on the monthly calendar rather than per patch, so log in on the HoYoLAB community site or in the app each day.

Finally, the trial runs for both featured five-stars are worth 20 primogems each. Running Flins and Ineffa in their test stages costs nothing and doubles as a way to see how they play before you commit wishes.

Phase 2 events: Great Expeditionist Challenge and Trial of the Bastion

Two limited-time events carry the event primogems for this half of the version. The Great Expeditionist Challenge is the larger of the pair at 920 primogems in total, though part of that may already be behind you depending on when you started it. Trial of the Bastion adds 420 primogems.

Both close when the version ends. Unclaimed event rewards do not roll over into 7.1, so clear the remaining stages before the September 22 cutoff rather than saving them for the final day.

Version 7.1 livestream codes on September 11

The Version 7.1 preview livestream is scheduled for September 11 and will hand out three redemption codes worth 100 primogems each, for 300 total. A separate end-of-patch code adds another 60 primogems.

Livestream codes expire within about 24 hours of being announced, so redeem them the same day. You can enter them in the in-game Settings menu under Account, or on the official gift code redemption page. Rewards arrive in your in-game mailbox, which is how you confirm a code actually applied.

Mail attachments themselves also have an expiry timer. Collect them rather than leaving them sitting in the inbox.

What 32 wishes gets you on the Phase 2 banner

The five-star rate is 0.6% with a guarantee at 90 pulls, so 32 wishes is not a five-star on its own unless you are already deep into pity. Check your current pity count first, then decide whether the phase’s income realistically closes the gap.

Flins and Ineffa are both Electro polearm five-stars built around Lunar-Charged. Flins is the on-field DPS, and Ineffa provides off-field Electro application, a shield, and an Elemental Mastery buff, which makes her the more flexible of the two across different rosters. The four-star pool is Aino, Iansan, and Lan Yan, and since you cannot pick which one you receive, none of them are a reason to spend beyond your five-star target.

Signature weapons are a separate calculation entirely. Ineffa’s Fractured Halo buffs Lunar-Charged damage for the whole party and Flins’ Bloodsoaked Ruins improves his rotation, but the weapon banner can drain a savings pool fast on bad luck. Set a hard primogem limit before you touch it, and secure the characters first.

If neither character fits your account, the same 5,080 primogems carries straight into 7.1 untouched. The rewards above are worth collecting either way, because banked primogems are the only version of this currency that keeps its value.
