Helperbot is the cardboard robot standing broken down in the Forsaken lobby, and it is on its way to becoming a playable Support survivor. Testers have already been seen using it in matches, complete with working buffs, a stat card, and multiple skins. What it does not have yet is a public release.
Quick answer: You cannot get Helperbot yet. It is an upcoming survivor that entered testing during the Forsaken Summer Games 2026 event, and the teased unlock method is a quest that repairs the lobby NPC D3functB0t into Helperbot. No release date has been confirmed.
Helperbot release status in Forsaken
Helperbot is listed as an upcoming survivor rather than an unconfirmed one, which is the important distinction here. The character has a finished model, a moveset built by Enoderen, an inventory icon, and confirmed in-game footage from testers. Public testing began during the Forsaken Summer Games 2026 event.

Nothing about the moveset is final. Numbers seen in testing, including cooldowns, can shift before launch, and the ability names shown to testers are not the ones the developers have publicly confirmed. Treat the values below as the current build, not a shipped kit.

Helperbot is the same character as D3functB0t, the damaged robot sitting in the Forsaken lobby. In the game’s fiction it arrived in The Spectre’s realm broken, got the D3functB0t nickname, and has been slowly rebuilt by Builderman using parts salvaged from generators. Veeronica left a handwritten “G3T W3LL S00N!!” note on the desk beside it.

The developer sneak peek points to Helperbot being the repaired version of that NPC, obtained through a quest rather than bought outright with player points. That would make Helperbot the second survivor unlocked this way after Jane Doe. The exact quest steps have not been published.
Note: Until the update lands, Helperbot will not appear in your survivor selection menu. Any listing claiming a purchase price or a code for it is not accurate to the current game.
Helperbot stats
Helperbot’s stat card is standard for a Support survivor, with 80 health and no movement advantage of its own. Its value comes entirely from what it hands to the people around it.
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Max Health | 80 |
| Max Stamina | 100 |
| Walkspeed | 12 |
| Runspeed (sprint) | 26 |
| Stamina gained per second | 20 |
| Stamina lost per second | 10 |
| Playstyle | Support |
Helperbot abilities and status effects
All three abilities are area effects centred on Helperbot itself. There is no aimed shot and no way to buff a single chosen teammate, so positioning is the whole skill ceiling. Helperbot also cannot use its abilities to heal itself in the way a targeted heal would.
| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| Healing pulse | Helperbot raises a hand to its ear and sends out a blue pulse. Survivors caught in it get Regeneration I and Resistance I for 5 seconds. Observed with a 2.5s windup and a 40s cooldown. |
| Haste pulse | Helperbot taps the side of its head, a circular zone appears around it and its head spins. Everyone in range gets Haste V. |
| Passive reveal | Every 12 seconds, all generators and items are highlighted through walls for every survivor for 2 seconds. |
Regeneration I restores 15 HP over 5 seconds. Resistance I cuts incoming damage by 20% for the same window. Haste V is the strongest tier of the speed buff seen in testing footage, which is what makes the head-spin pulse so useful for disengaging a whole group from a chase.
How Helperbot plays in a round
Helperbot is built to sit near the group during generator puzzles and top everyone up rather than duel the killer. The passive reveal means the whole team can see the next generator and any loose items without scouting, which quietly speeds up the objective.
Two quirks separate it from the other Support picks. Helperbot is the only survivor that uses no tools, food, drinks, or held objects as part of its kit, and unlike Veeronica it can still pick up and use medkits. It can also request pizza from Elliot, robot digestion notwithstanding.
As with every Support survivor, other players can click Helperbot to ask for help. If the ability is not ready, the requesting player sees a cooldown message in red text, in the format “That ability on cooldown for 22s”. That message is the clearest signal that the buff did not go out and you need to wait before repositioning.
Helperbot skins seen in testing
Four cosmetic options have shown up in tester footage alongside the base model. The default keeps the plain cardboard-and-foil look, while the others are recolours or full redesigns.
| Skin | Look |
|---|---|
| Default | Cardboard box head with sharpie face and aluminium foil limbs |
| GPP | Green recolour of the base model |
| Golden | Gold and yellow recolour |
| Tradebot | Cardboard merchant styling with its own facial texture and dialogue |
An orange and brown variant has also appeared in gameplay clips. How any of these are earned or priced has not been announced.
The character itself is not new. Helperbot comes from Roblox’s own Welcome to Roblox Building, a sandbox that launched in beta in December 2010, and it is one of the Mr. Robot characters the platform has used in promos and key art for years. The Mr. Robot hat arrived on the catalog in September 2009, with the full bundle following in August 2018 — which is exactly what the Forsaken model is built from, the Mr. Roboto bundle wearing the Mr. Robot hat.
For now, the practical move is to keep an eye on the lobby. The day D3functB0t stops looking broken is the day the quest to unlock Helperbot is live.
