Progress in Fish an Anime RNG comes from one compounding loop: catch anime characters, place them on your plot so they print cash, then convert that cash into rebirths, gems, and permanent multipliers. Most players stall because they treat fishing as the goal instead of the fuel.
Quick answer: Rebirth as soon as you hit 40,000 cash, repeat until you have five rebirths, then unlock the Lemon Stand with 1,000,000 cash and place your rarest character on it for up to a 15x gem multiplier.
The cash loop: fishing, platforms, and food
Fishing is how you acquire characters, but characters sitting in storage earn nothing. Open the PLOT tab and put every catch you own onto an open platform. Each placed character generates cash on a timer, and your total income rate is simply the sum of what is currently on the plot.
Food is the second half of the equation. Feeding a placed character raises its level, and a higher level means a higher cash rate from the same platform slot. Since food resets on rebirth, there is no reason to hoard it — spend it on whatever is currently sitting on your best slots.

Add to Google Preferences →Rebirth cost and what actually resets
The first rebirth costs 40,000 cash. That number sounds high on day one and becomes trivial within a couple of runs, which is why early rebirths should be treated as routine rather than as a milestone you save up for.
| Resets on rebirth | Carries over |
|---|---|
| Cash balance | Your characters |
| Food | Purchased upgrades |
| Completed research |
Each rebirth hands back more than it takes. You get additional backpack space, extra platforms for your plot, and a higher permanent cash multiplier. More platforms plus a bigger multiplier means the next 40,000 cash arrives far faster than the last, so the loop accelerates on its own.
Open the REBIRTH tab to see the current requirement before you commit. The confirmation dialog lists what you need and what you gain, and the green Rebirth button only becomes usable once you meet the threshold.

Empty your wallet before you rebirth
Because cash is wiped and upgrades are not, any money left in your balance at the moment you rebirth is money you threw away. The correct habit is to zero out your cash immediately before pressing the button.

Gem farming with the Lemon Stand
Gems are the second currency, and the Lemon Stand is the main faucet. It unlocks at five rebirths and costs 1,000,000 cash, which is the single clearest reason to keep rebirthing early rather than sitting on one long run.
Once it is running, the character you assign to the stand determines your gem rate. Rarity is what scales it — placing your rarest available character can push the multiplier as high as 15x. Swap in a better character every time you catch one, since the stand rewards rarity rather than income.
Two other gem sources are worth clearing regularly. The INDEX pays out gems for completing entries, so catching a character you already own still has value if it fills a missing slot. Events and the Playtime Rewards timer also hand out gems for showing up, and neither costs you anything beyond time in the server.
Gem spending priority by stage
Gems are slow to earn, so the order you buy in matters more than which upgrade looks strongest in isolation. Early purchases should widen your income base; later ones should remove the manual work.
| Stage | Buy in this order |
|---|---|
| Early | Extra platforms, additional research slots, food improvements |
| Mid to late | Triple hook, auto-sell |
| Late | Infinite backpack |
Extra platforms come first because every added slot is a permanent increase to total income. Triple hook multiplies what each cast returns, and auto-sell removes the constant trips back to storage. Infinite backpack is last only because it is expensive, not because it is weak — once you own it, storage stops being a constraint entirely.

AFK auto-fishing without stalling
Auto Fish keeps casting for you while you remain in the server, generating both cash and new characters with no input. It is the closest thing to idle progress the game offers, and it pairs well with long stretches where you are not actively playing.
The one thing that breaks it is a full backpack. When storage fills, auto-fishing stops producing and the rest of your session is wasted. Upgrade backpack space through rebirths and gem purchases before you plan a long AFK stint, and sell down your stored catches first if you are close to the cap.

Working Fish an Anime RNG codes
Codes hand out potion packs and Cosmic Boxes, which matter most on a fresh account or right after a rebirth when you are rebuilding income. New ones are released around player milestones and updates.
| Code | Reward |
|---|---|
| Forgotten | 5x potion pack I |
| 10KMEMBERS | 1x potion pack I |
| 10KCCU | 1x potion pack I |
| 20KLIKES | 5x Cosmic Box and 3x potion pack I |
| THANKYOUEVERYONE | 3x potion pack II |
| Yangs Home | Free rewards |
Expired and no longer worth typing: ECLIPSE, SACRIFICE, 1000MEMBERS, 2kCCU, 1kLIKES, ANGELIA, EXODIA, 500MEMBERS, DREAMSPACE, and FAA.
How to redeem codes
If a brand-new code is rejected, there are only two realistic causes. Either the spelling or capitalization is off, or you are on an older server instance that predates the code. Rejoin to get a fresh server and try once more before assuming the code is dead.
The whole game collapses into a short checklist once you know the thresholds. Fish, fill every platform, feed what is placed, dump leftover cash into upgrades and research, then rebirth at 40,000 and repeat until the Lemon Stand opens at five rebirths. From there, gems fund the platform and automation upgrades that make each subsequent run shorter than the one before it.
