Blox Fruits: How to Get All Sea 1 Secrets in Update 30

Every confirmed island objective, how stars are earned, and what it takes to push past level 2,800 toward 3,000.

Every confirmed island objective, how stars are earned, and what it takes to push past level 2,800 toward 3,000.

Update 30 rebuilt all 16 islands of Sea 1 and hid 40 Secrets across them. These are not chests. They are small puzzles, randomly spawning quests, and awakened boss fights, and clearing them is the only way to earn secret levels that go beyond the normal grinding cap of 2,800.

Quick answer: Visit each Sea 1 island that has Secrets, finish all three objectives there to fill its three stars, and repeat until you have all 40 stars. Every star pays out rewards and secret levels, and clearing all current secret levels raises your maximum level to 3,000.

How Sea 1 Secrets work in Update 30

Secrets are tracked per island. Each island that has them holds three, and each one you finish awards a star for that island. Once an island shows three stars, its secret progress is complete. Rewards include EXP, money, gems, and stat points, and the levels you gain from Secrets sit on top of the normal cap rather than being blocked by it.

SystemWhat it does
Secrets40 total across the reworked Sea 1 islands, split into puzzles, random quests, and awakened boss fights
StarsOne per completed Secret; three stars marks an island as finished
Secret levelsGranted by Secrets, and the only way past the 2,800 grinding cap
Level capRises to 3,000 once all current secret levels are cleared
World MapAdded to the HUD and unlocked after your first Secret; used to navigate islands and track completion
TeleporterUnlocked in Middletown after collecting all 40 stars
Secrets Master NPCAdded to Sea 1, and holding a secret of its own

Note: the World Map only appears after you clear one Secret, so do the easiest one first — the Pirate Village windmill or the Frozen Village ice block are both quick — and use the map to track everything else from there. You will need to be in the live Blox Fruits experience on Update 30 for any of this to appear.

Which Sea 1 islands have Secrets

Not every island holds Secrets, and three of the most-visited ones hold none at all. Skipping those saves a lot of pointless searching.

The three Secret types and how to spot them

Puzzles are built into the environment. Look for something that is visibly broken, blocked, or stuck — a jammed windmill, a barred doorway, a rope you can cut, a mechanism you can rotate. If a piece of scenery reacts to being hit with a weapon, it is almost always a Secret.

Random quests come from NPCs that were not on the old maps. They spawn in odd spots — inside buildings, behind structures, on rooftops, in the middle of water — and they usually open with a complaint or a request rather than a “defeat 10 bandits” prompt. Talk to anyone you do not recognise.

Awakened bosses are the third type. Every Sea 1 boss now has a secret awakened mode, and triggering it counts toward that island’s stars. Gorilla King, for example, powers up with a glowing aura instead of fighting in its normal form.

Secret locations on the low-level islands

Jungle

At the centre of the island, near the quest NPC, climb down the ladder and then drop through the hole in the ground to reach a hidden room. Out in the extended part of the map there is a giant tree with a zipline platform and a grapple hook lying at its base — pick the hook up, go to the platform, and throw it to bring the zipline back online. Two other things worth chasing here are the Adventurer standing in the middle of the lake, who wants a hat a monkey stole and hid in a tree, and a large green button on one of the big trees near the dock.

Pirate Village

Head to the giant windmill above the town square. Its sails are tied down by five separate rope points.
Jump up and cut all five ropes with any sword or cutting weapon. The windmill starts turning once the last one is severed.

Walk back down to the quest NPC standing by the docks and claim the reward. That NPC is also who pays out the tavern objective.

The second Secret is the tavern near the Chef boss spawn. Approach the shaking saloon door to start a cutscene, then beat all three Tavern Pirates causing trouble inside. The Chef hands you a potion, and the docks NPC pays the rest. The third ties into the Chef boss itself on the upper-level balcony, which has to be pushed into its powered-up form.

Desert Island

Start at the stone circle beside the pyramid. Hit each stone several times to knock the sand loose and expose the symbol underneath, and once all of them are clear a plate rises out of the ground. Speak to the Desert Merchant in the village afterwards.

The Merchant then asks about his missing friend Hasan. The way into the pyramid is a small patch of darker, lower dirt tucked between a cactus and a fence at the pyramid corner nearest the village, often with a treasure chest sitting on top of it. Jump onto it to fall through, follow the passage, and clear the Desert Skeletons surrounding Hasan.

With Hasan safe, return to the Merchant and pick the “Prickly Harvest” dialogue option. He wants Cactus Flowers, and each of the 10 cacti you break around the island drops one petal. Hand the full set back for levels and a Lava Potion.

Secret locations on the mid and high-level islands

IslandConfirmed objective
Frozen VillageEnter the large cave at the front of the island and break the Ability Teacher NPC out of the ice with melee attacks
Marine FortressThe quest giver brags that only the keep’s own cannons can damage it. Use the two front buster cannons on the guard posts above the dock
Prison IslandThe Jail Keeper wants three escaping prisoners stopped — one breaking through the outer wall, one digging a tunnel on the grass, one building a raft on the shore
Colosseum IslandSpeak to the Colosseum Emperor on the balcony and clear three waves, ending with three Gladiators, two Upgraded Gladiators, and one Supreme Gladiator, then talk to him again for the EXP
Magma VillageHit the crater in the lava pool near the dock until it becomes a large Lava Elemental, kill it and the Mini Lava Elementals, then claim from the Mayor
Magma VillageThe Living Skeleton asks you to shut down the drill in Volcano Cave, reached through the mine entrance around the back edge of the island

Sky and underwater Secrets

In the Skylands, the Angel Knight stands behind the building at the far end of the upper village. His quest sends you after the Skylands’ riches.

Upper Skylands is reached through a portal in the Skylands. On the second island, talk to Sky Quest Giver 2 and take “The Ancient Temple”. Blow up the blocks barring the doorways at the foot of the temple steps to get inside, then hit each device in the ring so their beams line up and form a closed circle. Carrying the intel back out triggers a storm with lightning striking the ground during the run — reach the NPC to hand it over, collect the reward, and clear the weather.

Underwater City holds three Secrets as well, but you have to get down there first through the Whirlpool.

How to confirm a Secret counted

A completed Secret awards a star, and the World Map on the HUD is the record. Open it and check the island’s star count — three stars means that island is done and there is nothing left to hunt for there. Finishing the last one on an island also flashes a completion banner with the island’s name and star rating.

If you are past 2,800, the other confirmation is your level itself. Secret levels are the only levels that move that number, so seeing it tick up is proof the star registered.

Why a Secret will not trigger

  • You are on an island with no Secrets. Pirate Starting Island, Marine Starting Island, and Middle Town have none.
  • You have not reached the area. Underwater City needs the Whirlpool, and Upper Skylands needs the portal from the Skylands.
  • You are missing the tool the puzzle needs. The windmill ropes require a cutting weapon, the Frozen Village ice requires melee hits, and the Ancient Temple doorways require an explosive.
  • You cleared the objective but skipped the payout. Several Secrets only close out when you return to the NPC who gave them — the Pirate Village docks NPC, the Desert Merchant, the Magma Village Mayor, and the Colosseum Emperor all have to be spoken to again.
  • It is bugged. The Pirate Village tavern fight has been failing to complete properly for some players.

Several islands still have Secrets nobody has pinned down, particularly Mob Island, Underwater City, and Fountain City. The steady approach is to clear what is confirmed, keep the World Map open to see which islands are short of three stars, and treat any unfamiliar NPC or damaged piece of scenery on those islands as a lead worth testing.
