Blox Fruits Jungle Grappling Hook Guide: Repair the Sea 1 Zipline

Where the grapple hook spawns on Jungle Island, how to restart the broken zipline, and what the quest giver pays out.

Where the grapple hook spawns on Jungle Island, how to restart the broken zipline, and what the quest giver pays out.

The reworked Jungle Island in Sea 1 hides a broken zipline that runs from a giant tree to a building across the water. Fixing it is one of the Island Secrets added in Update 30, and it is one of the fastest EXP payouts on the island because the reward scales into multiple level-ups.

Quick answer: Pick up the grapple hook lying at the base of the giant tree in Jungle Island’s extended area, climb the rope to the wooden platform above, throw the hook at the building across the water, then ride the new zipline and speak to the Adventurer quest giver on the far side to claim the reward.

Where the grapple hook spawns on Jungle Island

Sail to Jungle Island and head for the extended area added in the Sea 1 rework, away from the central quest hub where the monkeys, gorillas and the Gorilla King roam. You are looking for a single oversized tree with a wooden platform built high on its trunk and a rope running up to it. Everything for this secret sits on or around that tree.

The four things you need are all within a short walk of each other.

How to restart the Jungle zipline

Walk to the foot of the giant tree and look down at the roots. The grapple hook is an item lying loose on the ground, and standing next to it brings up the Pick up prompt bound to E.

The E prompt appears once you stand over the grapple hook at the base of the tree.
Press E to collect the Grappling Hook. It goes into your inventory as a usable item, so nothing happens on the ground until you carry it upward.
Climb the rope on the tree until you reach the wooden platform near the top. This is the only spot the hook can be thrown from, so climbing is not optional even if you have a flight fruit that could reach the far building directly.
Equip the hook on the platform, aim at the building across the water, and fire. The line locks onto the far structure and the zipline snaps into place between the two points.
Ride the new zipline across. You land next to the building on the far shore, which is where the reward is waiting.

How to confirm the zipline secret is complete

The moment the line connects, the game prints a confirmation message: “The zipline runs again! Claim your reward from the quest giver.” If you do not see that line, the hook has not attached and you should re-throw it from the platform rather than looking for another trigger.

From the landing point, cross the bridge and follow the objective marker toward the NPC. The distance counter on screen ticks down as you approach.

Zipline secret rewards and stars in Sea 1

The payout is EXP, and it is large enough to matter early. A level 127 character handing this in received 728,449 EXP and climbed straight to level 132, triggering several level-up notifications in a row and unlocking a new quest afterward.

Every Island Secret you finish also awards a star. There are 40 across the 16 islands of Sea 1, and collecting all of them unlocks the teleporter in Middle Town. Because Update 30 pushes progression past the old ceiling, these secrets are also how you keep leveling once normal quests dry up.

Note: the zipline is only one of Jungle Island’s secrets. The island also holds a hidden room reached by going down the ladder near the central quest NPC and dropping through the hole in the ground, so the star count on Jungle does not close out with the zipline alone.

Once the line is running it stays usable, so the tree platform doubles as a quick route across the water on later visits. If the hook is missing from the base of the tree, another player on your server has already picked it up, and a fresh server puts it back where it belongs.
