Fisch: How to Get All 4 Crystals and Open the Giant Door on Skyrest Island

Every crystal source, the 500,000 C$ cost, and what waits behind the floor door once all four slot in.

Every crystal source, the 500,000 C$ cost, and what waits behind the floor door once all four slot in.

The giant floor door on Skyrest Island in Fisch stays sealed until you feed it four separate crystals, and none of them are sitting in the same place. One is a straight climb, one is a fishing delivery, one costs a serious pile of cash, and one is a favor for a stranded angler. Once all four are in, the floor opens into a hidden underground space with a bonfire.

Quick answer: Grab the Lighthouse Sky Crystal at the top of the Moosewood lighthouse, return Gisli’s lost rod on Snowcap Island, bring Hammond in Roslit Bay an Albino mutated fish caught at Skyrest Island, and buy the last crystal from the Captain inside the Forsaken Shores skull cave for 500,000 C$. Then place all four into the floor door on Skyrest Island.

All 4 crystal locations in Fisch

The four crystals sit on four different islands, so plan a route rather than backtracking. Only one of them costs money, but it is the single biggest expense in the whole run.

IslandHow you get itCost
MoosewoodClimb to the top of the lighthouse and take the Lighthouse Sky CrystalFree
Snowcap IslandTalk to Gisli, recover his lost rod from the lower cave passage, hand it backFree
Roslit BayAccept Hammond’s quest at the campfire and deliver an Albino mutated fish caught at Skyrest IslandFree (needs the catch)
Forsaken ShoresEnter the skull cave and buy the crystal from the Captain500,000 C$

Note: if you are short on cash, do the three free crystals first. The Captain’s crystal is a simple purchase and can be picked up last with no penalty.

The two crystals you can collect for free

Lighthouse Sky Crystal at Moosewood

Head to the back side of Moosewood and go inside the lighthouse. The entrance is at ground level and there is nothing blocking it.
Climb the internal staircase all the way to the top platform. Keep going until you run out of stairs.

At the summit, look underneath the glass window panel around GPS 686, 252, 318 and interact with the crystal to pick it up. That is the Lighthouse Sky Crystal.

Gisli’s lost rod on Snowcap Island

Travel to Snowcap Island and find Gisli. Talk to him to start the request for his missing rod.

Drop into the lower cave passage below him and follow it until you spot the rod. Pick it up from where it landed.

Climb back up and speak to Gisli again to hand the rod over. He gives you the crystal on the spot.

Hammond’s Albino mutated fish quest in Roslit Bay

This is the only crystal gated behind a catch, so start it early and let it run while you handle the rest.

Go to Roslit Bay and find Hammond sitting by the campfire. Talk to him and accept the request.
Travel to Skyrest Island and fish there until you land a catch with the Albino mutation. The mutation is random, so this can take several attempts.
Keep the Albino fish in your inventory and return to Hammond in Roslit Bay. Turn it in to receive the crystal.

Buying the Forsaken Shores crystal from the Captain

Bank 500,000 C$ before making the trip. There is no discount and no alternative way to obtain this one.

Sail or fast travel to Forsaken Shores and make your way to the skull-shaped cave entrance.

Go inside and locate the Captain NPC. Interact with him to open his offer.
Pay the 500,000 C$ to buy the crystal. It goes straight into your inventory once the purchase clears.

How to open the giant floor door on Skyrest Island

With all four crystals in your inventory, return to Skyrest Island. Fast travel from the menu is the quickest route back.

Opening the game menu from the top-left button to travel back to Skyrest Island.
Walk to the giant door set into the ground and stand on it. You will see the empty slots arranged around it.
Equip each crystal from your backpack and insert it into its slot, one at a time. Order does not matter, but every slot has to be filled.

How to confirm the door actually opened

The moment the fourth crystal locks in, the floor door itself opens instead of just reacting. Below it is a hidden underground area with a bonfire, and you can drop straight in. If the door has not moved, one of the crystals is still sitting in your inventory unplaced.

The two things that most often stall this run are the Albino fish and the cash. The Albino mutation only counts if the fish was caught at Skyrest Island, and the Captain will not hand over his crystal until you have the full 500,000 C$.

One last thing worth flagging, since the names overlap: the four Energy Crystals on the Northern Expedition mountain are a completely different puzzle. Those are the blue, green, yellow, and red crystals used at the Glacial Grotto to reach the Heaven’s Rod, and they have no bearing on the Skyrest Island floor door.
