The Heavenwill Gauntlets are not a support weapon. They are the primary damage dealer in the Bamboocut – Kite path, and almost everything you equip exists to feed one attack: the charged punch. Paired with the Skygrasp Rope Dart, the pairing sits in S Tier for both PvE and PvP, but only if you keep the shared resource topped up and spend it at the right moment.
Quick answer: Equip the Heavenwill Gauntlets with the Skygrasp Rope Dart, switch your Arsenal Path to Bamboocut, run a 4-piece Etherwrath set on weapons and accessories with Honorbound armor, slot Soaring High, Sky Gripped, Empirical Edge, and Morale Chant, then open with the Rope Dart and dump full Heaven’s Will into Vile Condemned: End.
Unlock the Heavenwill Gauntlets and Skygrasp Rope Dart
Both weapons come from Version 2.0, and neither is missable. The Gauntlets released on July 23, 2026 with their full Martial Art path attached, so there is nothing else to unlock once you buy them.

Add to Google Preferences →How Heaven’s Will and Vile Condemned work
Heaven’s Will is the resource both weapons share, shown as four nodes near your martial arts bar. It ticks up slowly on its own, but skills and combos fill it far faster, and that generation rate is what actually caps your damage.
You spend it on Vile Condemned, the Gauntlets’ charged heavy attack. Hold the heavy input with at least two segments banked and you get the standard version. Once Soaring High is slotted and you reach three bars, the heavy attack converts into Vile Condemned: End, which consumes everything you have for a much larger invincible strike on an 18-second cooldown, refunds one bar on hit, converts up to 12% Affinity into Direct Critical Rate, and adds 20% HP damage against non-player targets.
Refilling comes from Falcon’s Pursuit, which triggers on the fifth and sixth hits of the Righteous Reign light attack chain. Walking through six light attacks in a real fight is slow, so most Gauntlet skills exist to skip straight into that part of the combo. Hold light attack right after the All Under Justice special and you chain into the fifth hit immediately. Heavenwill Declared does the same on its follow-up.
The Rope Dart’s Sky-Snare Stance pulls enemies together and grants Heaven’s Unity, which raises how quickly Heaven’s Will builds. With Sky Gripped equipped, Snaring Lash also applies Heaven’s Might, increasing the HP damage of Falcon’s Pursuit and Vile Condemned.
Combat rotation for the Gauntlets and Rope Dart

Tip: Skygrasp Rope Dart is the ideal PvE partner. If you are building for the Arena instead, Twin Blades and Nameless Spear are the viable swaps.
Best Inner Ways for the Heavenwill Gauntlets build
This is the most expensive part of the build. Soaring High is mandatory and should hit Tier 6 first, followed by Sky Gripped and Empirical Edge. Morale Chant can sit at Tier 5 if you are short on materials, since its Tier 6 bonus is only a periodic extra attack or heal on a 10-second cooldown.
| Inner Way | What it does |
|---|---|
| Soaring High | Turns Heavy Attack into Vile Condemned: End at 3 bars, refunds 1 bar on hit, converts Affinity into Direct Critical Rate, adds 20% HP damage to non-player targets. |
| Sky Gripped | Snaring Lash applies Heaven’s Might; Rope Dart skills trigger Falcon’s Pursuit and restore Heaven’s Will while the Gauntlets are equipped. |
| Empirical Edge | Martial Art triggered effects grant Cognition, stacking to 5 for penetration, with extra penetration on Falcon’s Pursuit and Vile Condemned. |
| Morale Chant | Yi River stacks up to 5 times for Physical Penetration and 1% damage and healing each, checked once every 2 seconds. |
| Invigorated Warrior (alt) | Flat 5% damage and healing, disabled for 5 seconds after you take a hit. Needs Tier 6 to be reliable. |
| Breaking Point (alt) | Collapse stacks from critical hits on Spirit Depleted enemies. Best for speedruns and PvP. |
Best gear sets and stat priority
Etherwrath goes on your weapons and accessories. Hitting a boss or player grants a stack that raises all Attack types by 1% for 8 seconds, up to five stacks, and full stacks give Martial Art effects 4 Attribute Attack Penetration. Crucially, a perfect dodge hands you all five instantly, which fits how aggressively this build already plays. The set drops from the Mirkvale and Skyward City Ruins campaign.

For armor, Honorbound rewards perfect dodges with 5 seconds of reduced HP damage taken and 12% less Critical and Affinity damage taken, on a 10-second internal cooldown. Rainwhisper is a reasonable weapon and accessory alternative if it rolls noticeably better substats or you need the Precision, but Etherwrath wins when both are comparable.
| Priority | Stat |
|---|---|
| 1 | Precision |
| 2 | Critical Rate |
| 3 | Min and Max Physical Attack |
| 4 | Agility |
| 5 | Max Bamboocut Attack |
Agility is better than its position suggests, because it raises both Critical Rate and Minimum Physical Attack at once. For tuning specifically, Minimum Physical Attack, Maximum Physical Attack, and Critical Rate are the three to chase, with Power as the fallback if none of them roll.
Bamboocut Arsenal Path and armor attunement
Switch your Arsenal Path to Bamboocut. It directly boosts Bamboocut damage, and skipping it quietly costs you a chunk of your output for no reason.

On armor attunements, aim for two rolls of Heavenwill Gauntlets Martial Art DMG Boost and two rolls of Heavenwill Gauntlets Charged Skill DMG Boost. Since Vile Condemned and Vile Condemned: End are effectively your entire damage profile, Charged Skill DMG Boost is the single largest attunement gain available to this build.
Mystic Arts that fit the rotation
The Gauntlet loop moves quickly, so long Mystic Art setups get in the way. Flute of the Tides works at the start of the rotation because it keeps damaging targets for 12.5 seconds while you handle everything else. Soaring Spin is the filler after your charged skill, and it cuts the target’s Healing Received by 60% for 5 seconds on hit.
Remaining slots are yours. In PvP, Dragon’s Breath and Drunken Poet extend the rotation, but both demand setup and precise parry cancels, so save them for after the Rope Dart and Gauntlets have already opened your target up.
Why the build loses damage
Nearly every failure traces back to Heaven’s Will. If your numbers feel low, check these first.
- Spending two bars on a standard Vile Condemned instead of banking three or four for Vile Condemned: End.
- Soaring High is not equipped or not yet Tier 6, so the heavy attack never converts into the upgraded finisher.
- Grinding through full six-hit light chains rather than using All Under Justice or Heavenwill Declared to skip into Falcon’s Pursuit.
- Firing the finisher before applying Heaven’s Might and Heaven’s Unity with the Rope Dart.
- Leaving the Arsenal Path on something other than Bamboocut.
You will know the setup is working when the heavy attack prompt changes to Vile Condemned: End at three bars and the strike goes out with invincibility frames, followed by one bar returning to your gauge on hit. That refund is the tell that Soaring High is doing its job and your loop can start again immediately.
None of this is forgiving on investment. Bamboocut – Kite asks for several high-tier Inner Ways and clean resource discipline before it looks like an S Tier build, and a sloppy rotation will feel worse than a simpler pairing. But once Soaring High, Sky Gripped, and Empirical Edge are maxed and the perfect dodge timing clicks, a single Vile Condemned: End into an exhausted boss is one of the largest hits available in Version 2.1.
