Every objective, the burrow miniboss, the time cost, and the rewards for the sanzhani side quest.

Come Hither is a short sanzhani side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker that hinges on one fight underground. It costs 2 Time Segments, has no fail state, and pays out a Skill Point, which makes it one of the cheaper detours in a game where time is a resource you spend rather than one that ticks away on its own.

Quick answer: Finish Good Home first, then head north of the Verda Marsh Guardpost Shrine, follow the sound to the crying sanzhana, trail her to the burrow, drop in and kill the Murohn miniboss, then climb back out and speak to her again to close the quest for 100 XP and 1 Skill Point.

Come Hither quest requirements and rewards

Come Hither will not appear until Good Home is done. It is the second entry in the sanzhani chain, so the quest giver only calls out to Coen once that earlier favour is settled.

Note: 2 Time Segments is a small slice of the 30 in-game days you have before the main story deadline, and there is no timer attached to Come Hither once it is in your journal.

Where Come Hither starts

The trigger sits on the path north of the Verda Marsh Guardpost Shrine. A lynched man hangs beside the road, and walking up to him is what kicks the quest into your journal with the opening objective to investigate the curious sound. The noise itself comes from further along the trail, not from the body.

Coen’s own read on it is blunt, and it doubles as the quest description in the journal.

Looks like the sanzhani have another problem for me to solve. Question is, do I have the time?

Come Hither walkthrough: All objectives

Investigate the curious sound. Track the noise along the path until you find a sanzhana standing in the middle of the road. She is crying, and talking to her opens the request.
Agree to help and follow the sanzhana. She asks Coen to deal with a monster that has moved into her burrow, then leads the way there on foot. The burrow is close by, so you do not need to fast travel or take a long detour.
Investigate the sanzhani burrow. Drop down into the entrance and push into the cave until the Murohn miniboss spawns. This is the only real fight in the quest, and it has to die before anything else advances.
Search the monster once it is down. The journal frames this as a check on whether killing the beast is the whole story, and the burrow can also point you toward a note about a meeting by the lake, with a follow-up objective to sweep the lake area in Focus Mode.
Climb back out of the burrow and talk with the sanzhana again. That conversation is what closes Come Hither and hands over the reward.

How to confirm Come Hither is complete

The clean finish is the outcome line that records Coen dealing with the monstrosity that ravaged the sanzhani burrow and being rewarded for it. In practice that means the journal entry closes after the final conversation and 100 XP plus 1 Skill Point land, so check your Skill Point count if you are unsure whether the quest actually resolved.

Two things stop it from wrapping up. Leaving the burrow before the Murohn is dead keeps the investigate objective active, and walking away without returning to the sanzhana leaves the final talk objective open. There is no way to fail the quest outright, so you can come back later in either case.

Turning down the sanzhana

Declining is a supported outcome. If Coen decides he does not have the time and heads off to face Brencis instead, the quest resolves on that second ending rather than the reward one. The journal also leaves a return path open, noting that if you change your mind about the sanzhana, you know where to find her.

Skipping it does cost you more than the Skill Point, though, because Come Hither gates the rest of the chain.

Where Come Hither sits in the Sanzhani questline

The sanzhani quests run in a fixed order, and the payoff at the end is a trophy. Come Hither is the step that unlocks Burrow Sorrows.

OrderQuest
1Good Home
2Come Hither
3Burrow Sorrows
4Pearly and Precious
5Tiny Dancer (unlocks The Tsarina’s Favourite Human)

The chain also spreads across regions, so the quest markers will pull you between the marsh, Boar’s Back and Svatrau City as you work down the list.

For a two-segment investment, Come Hither is worth clearing early. The Murohn is the only obstacle, the quest cannot be failed, and finishing it keeps the sanzhani line moving toward the trophy at the end of Tiny Dancer while you still have plenty of days left on the clock.
